Fisher learns that Helair is playing a dangerous "game" involving divine favors, and that a summoning ritual has been tampered with. He is also warned that Helair can no longer assist him. Meanwhile, the reporter Ingrid is scared straight by her recent ordeal, and Fisher advises her to stay put for her safety. Suddenly, Moli the whale-girl arrives, seeking to speak with Fisher privately and enlisting Mier's help in keeping her meeting with Raphael a secret.

Moli, after receiving Mier's repeated assurances, turned her attention to Fisher, who was standing beside her, and whispered,

"Mr. Fischer... I have something pertinent to the Dragon Court that I wish to discuss with you. Would you accompany me?"

"Certainly."

"It should be... just Mr. Fischer alone."

"..."

Fisher paused in his movement as he began to rise. Emhardt, cradled in his arms, indignantly poked his head out and exclaimed, "Moli, why are you singling me out? If you're going to keep score, the great Book Knight is essentially just a book; your words hold no weight! Blah blah blah... Right, Fisher?"

"Alright, alright, you remain here for the moment."

"Fisher, you mom!"

Fisher gently removed the little Emhardt from his embrace, instructing him to keep an eye on Ingrid and assuring him of his swift return.

Mier, with a sense of helplessness, stayed behind in the room to manage the chattering and flitting Emhardt, along with the startled patient Ingrid, reminiscent of how he once looked after the young and naive Lar in days past.

Meanwhile, Fisher followed Moli, clad in her priest robes, as they exited. She took the lead, and Fisher, admitting his lesser knowledge of the Dragon Court compared to hers, let her guide.

"With such a significant matter occurring earlier, aren't you going to address it?"

"My role in it has already been fulfilled."

"That swiftly?"

"Mmm..."

"Where precisely are we heading?"

"We shall arrive shortly, Mr. Fischer..."

Fisher refrained from further inquiry, as Moli's words proved true; their destination was reached with unexpected speed.

In the very next second, they found themselves standing directly before Fisher's own assigned room.

"Back to my room?"

"...Yes."

Moli nodded, then stepped forward to open the door. She gestured towards a corridor stretching into the distance, indicating a specific corner at its end. "Beyond that turn, proceed straight... through the Royal Court, and you will arrive directly at my private quarters..."

"What?"

"It's... quite near..."

"..."

Fisher turned his head back in a state of bewilderment, noticing Moli's face was slightly flushed. The long ears adorning her head twitched rapidly, seemingly betraying her current emotional state.

There was no room for doubt; Fisher surmised that the accommodations he currently occupied had been arranged by Moli, hence the existence of this convenient "shortcut"... Indeed, quite practical.

Wisely, he chose not to inquire about Rafael's dwelling, recognizing that regardless of the location, Rafael would inevitably seek him out.

"Thud, thud, thud..."

Footsteps echoed from the far end of the corridor. Fisher averted his gaze, gently guiding Moli into the room first. Once both were inside, he quietly shut the door, ensuring they remained undiscovered by anyone passing by.

Fisher observed the now securely closed door as the sound of the footsteps receded down the corridor, completely oblivious to the unusual circumstances unfolding within.

Once the sounds of their passing had faded completely, Fisher turned back to Moli, saying, "Engaging in this is quite risky. If Rafael were to discover..."

"Mwah!"

As he spoke, a pair of soft lips met his own with firm pressure, as if staking a claim and capturing Fisher in an intimate embrace.

"..."

His body grew rigid, his entire focus directed towards the sensation of the warm, soft lips pressed against his, and the alluring contours of her figure.

The contact, as warm and intense as a natural hot spring, permeated Fisher, ensnaring him in this unforeseen maneuver.

"Thud, thud, thud!"

Urgent footsteps sounded again from the corridor outside. Fisher, pressed firmly against the door by Moli's sudden advance, felt the vibrations from the approaching hikers mere inches away. It seemed they were on the verge of being discovered by observers who might witness their High Priest and a human male in such close proximity.

Predictably, news of such an event would swiftly reach the ears of the Dragon Court's Queen, potentially leading to severe repercussions later on...

Yet, the heightened danger only seemed to amplify the thrill of the moment.

Sensing the stir outside, Moli's body quivered, but her kiss intensified, becoming even more passionate and captivating. Fisher could distinctly feel her rapid heartbeat quickening...

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

After a considerable duration, the footsteps outside gradually diminished. It was only then that Moli reluctantly withdrew from Fisher's hold...

A delicate silver thread connecting their lips was the only visible sign of her lingering desire.

Between breaths, her voice, as soft and sweet as spun sugar, emerged,

"Ha... Ooh..."

"Fisher... I, too, have truly missed you."
