I have decided to put the releases for DotF on hold throughout the month of February.

Managing the Ultom mega arc has proven to be a monumental task. The narrative currently involves numerous parallel plot threads, overarching mysteries, and a massive cast of characters, each driven by their own schemes and motivations. It has been incredibly enjoyable to assemble these intricate puzzle pieces. Furthermore, I am finally reaching specific milestones that I originally plotted out years ago, which brings its own sense of reward.

Conversely, the rising complexity has led to a linear increase in both the time required and the drain on my mental energy. I cannot count how many times I have outlined certain sections only to discard them completely the following week. While initiating a new story arc is simple, concluding one in a satisfying manner is a much greater challenge.

Because of this, I am pausing the scheduled releases for February, although a chapter will still be posted on February 1st to compensate for the one missed several weeks ago. I need some time to tinker with the narrative without the constant pressure of weekly deadlines. My goal is to draft several critical scenes and chapters further ahead, ensuring I know exactly what goals Zac is Cultivation toward.
