In the center of the villa area where Qin Lun lived stood a bell tower over a hundred meters tall. At the edge of the bell tower, an inconspicuous piece of tarp fluttered in the wind, looking from a distance like a torn cloth caught on the tower’s railing.

As it swayed in the wind, the lower edge of the tarp occasionally revealed a small, colorfully painted face. A pair of dark, lively eyes on that face vigilantly observed the villa where Qin Lun was staying.

“Chitter, chitter, chitter!” A soft mouse-like sound suddenly came from above the small face. A squirrel with a bushy tail poked its little head out from the hair and alerted its little master.

“Hehe, Junko, I told you the view here was great! Look, a little one has beaten us to it!” Hearing the pleasant female voice from behind, Sif jumped up like a startled rabbit. Without even looking back, she hugged the Little Squirrel and leaped directly from the hundred-meter-high bell tower.

However, her efforts were soon in vain. Her small body had just cleared the stone railing of the bell tower when she felt a tight grip on her clothes from behind. She was caught and left dangling in mid-air.

“Little girl, you… Huh?” The girl who caught Sif had only spoken halfway when she felt her hand go light, clutching only a small, empty garment. Surprised, she leaned her head over the stone railing to look down the bell tower. Sif, having shed her outer clothing at some point, was now plummeting rapidly towards the ground, clearly prepared for an escape.

“Xixi, that little loli my brother collected is truly something else!”

The girl turned her head with a laugh, looking at another girl behind her who wore white training clothes and had a ponytail. She stepped onto the stone railing, spread her hands, and leaned outwards very naturally, flipping headfirst over the edge of the bell tower and chasing after the rapidly falling little girl.

Sif protected her chest with her arms, tightly hugging the Little Squirrel, her hair streaming behind her in the strong wind. She felt a slight sense of pride in her heart. Since becoming an Apostle, her escaping skills had improved a lot. If the enemy hadn’t appeared so suddenly this time, giving her no chance to warn the big guy and Didi, perhaps those two wouldn’t have been caught.

Although the Little Mute was young, her experiences in Atlantis had given her an intuition beyond ordinary people. Like small animals with keen senses who can predict natural disasters, she could also sense dangers in advance.

Even though she hadn’t looked back so far, the dangerous aura emanating from the other person made her whole body tremble and shiver, even more than when she first met Qin Lun in Atlantis.

After jumping off the bell tower, Sif felt somewhat relieved. But soon, all the pores on her body stood on end as she sensed that dangerous aura again. Unable to resist, she turned her head to look back. Right behind her, less than a meter away, a beautiful girl had silently appeared and was making a funny face at her.

“How did she catch up?” Sif widened her eyes, staring in disbelief at the other’s pretty face.

“Want to know?” Qin Mei blinked, reached out with one hand, grabbed the Little Mute, and with just a twist of her body, flipped back to an upright position from her head-down posture.

“Boom!” The girl lightly kicked her right leg, and it seemed as if an extremely compressed air bomb exploded beneath her foot. A huge thrust sent the two of them soaring upwards like a rocket.

“The Sky Dance skill?” Sif opened her small mouth in surprise, recalling an ability of a Martial Artist that Qin Lun had once mentioned.

“Xixi, not really a skill, just a little trick of releasing inner energy!” Qin Mei wrinkled her delicate nose and said with a smile, “Now you can’t escape, can you!”

Sif pouted, turned her head away sulkily. After a while, she couldn’t help but sneak a glance at the beautiful girl holding her.

The girl who caught her wore a crop top and jeans, had snow-white skin, red lips, and short hair reaching her ears. A delicate silver earring hung from her left ear, and there always seemed to be a hint of playfulness and cunning between her eyebrows. If not for the lack of heavy makeup, she would look exactly like a non-mainstream girl.

But as Sif looked at her, she felt a sense of familiarity, as if she had seen her somewhere before.

Qin Mei changed steps in the air several times and quickly brought the Little Mute back to the top of the bell tower. At this time, there was still a ponytailed girl in training clothes standing inside the bell tower. She seemed to have expected her companion to catch up with Sif and bring the girl back, showing no surprise on her face.

“You, you…” Once her feet were on solid ground, a thought suddenly occurred to Sif. She pointed at Qin Mei, a look of astonishment on her face.

“Xixi, finally recognized me?” Qin Mei made a look of being defeated by her, covered her forehead, and shook her head. “So, do I look a lot like my brother?”

“You… are that, that guy’s sis, sister?” Sif blinked. She hadn’t spoken for several years, and although she had regained her ability to speak, she still stammered a bit.

“Hohoho, am I much cuter than my brother?” Qin Mei put her hands on her hips, tilted her head back 180 degrees towards the sky, and let out a series of tinkling laughs. Then, as if remembering something, she puffed out her cheeks, leaned down, and glared at the little girl, saying with clear displeasure, “Are you my brother’s little girlfriend? I never thought my brother was a lolicon!”

“Ah? N, no way!” Sif widened her eyes, her face turning bright red, her mind in chaos.

“Lady Mei, don’t tease her until she cries!” Junko, standing behind them, rolled her eyes, finally unable to stand it any longer.

“I’m happy!” Qin Mei wiped the smile off her face and coldly glanced at Junko, making her shiver all over and recall the bloody horror hidden beneath this pretty girl’s playful appearance.

“I actually dared to advise Lady Mei, I must be out of my mind!” Junko’s face turned pale. She tightly closed her mouth, determined not to provoke the moody Spectral Enchantress again.

After finding Qin Lun’s residence, she had actually outlived her usefulness. If not for her connection to Qin Lun, Qin Mei might have already turned her into a human specimen. She had heard the terrifying rumors about this Lady Mei more than once in the Superstring Space.

It didn’t take them much time to find Qin Lun’s residence in Devil’s Horn through Moonlight Forest. In fact, when they entered Devil’s Horn, Qin Lun had just begun his hunter journey. By the time the young man returned from the Hunter World, Qin Mei and Yoshida Junko had also found the villa where he lived.

“You, you really are Qin, Qin’s sis, sister!” Sif looked at Junko, then at Qin Mei, and asked haltingly.

“Mhmm, mhmm!” Qin Mei turned her head, her face blooming again with a gorgeous, flower-like smile, though her eyes remained as cold as ever, sending a chill up little Sif’s spine from the depths of her heart.

“Little sister, you sleep for a while first. Later, big sister will give you some beautiful specimens, okay?” Qin Mei tilted her head, smiling as she pressed her hands together against her cheeks. Hearing her words, Junko behind her trembled all over, her gaze somewhat dazed, as if recalling some very terrifying memories.

“Okay…” Sif had only half agreed when she felt a numbness at the back of her neck. A wave of sleepiness washed over her heart, and her eyelids slowly drooped against her will.

“Carry her, let’s go!” Qin Mei put away her smile, expressionlessly reached out with one hand, picked up Sif like a chick, and directly tossed her to Junko behind her.

After descending from the bell tower, Junko followed Qin Mei for a while, then looked back at the villa somewhat confused. She couldn’t help but ask, “Lady Mei, aren’t you going to help Qin Lun deal with the trouble in the villa?”

“Trouble? Why would you think that’s trouble?” Qin Mei looked at the girl with surprise. “That’s my brother’s art materials. How could a good sister like me spoil her brother’s interests?”

“But… isn’t Lady Mei going to wait in the villa for Qin Lun’s return?” Junko asked in surprise.

“Brother would be unhappy if he knew I entered the Shattered Starry Sky!” Qin Mei suddenly frowned, looking troubled. “He never knew I was a Reincarnator. Now that he’s become an Apostle, he must think I’m still living carefree in the Earth Federation!”

Qin Mei sighed like an old person, clasping her hands behind her back. “Actually, I’ve always been keeping an eye on brother. It’s a pity that when he was sentenced to death, I was on a mission in another dimension and didn’t get the news. Otherwise, I probably would have seen him.”

As she spoke, Qin Mei’s eyes shifted, as if remembering something. She smiled at Junko and said, “Perhaps the Qin Lun you met is only a part of my brother. You don’t know him well enough! Do you know where I got the idea for making specimens? That was my brother’s unique art…”

“What was it called? Oh, right, my brother called those specimens ‘Skeletal Angel’!” Qin Mei’s pupils sparkled with starlight. She cupped her face with her hands and muttered to herself, “Such a poetic name. Xiao Mei admires brother the most!”

“Skeletal Angel? No, something must be wrong. The Qin Lun I know definitely isn’t Lady Mei’s brother!” Yoshida Junko felt a chill run through her entire body, her mind turning into a jumbled mess.

“Transmission Hall 12!” Qin Lun looked at the number on the room in front of him and narrowed his eyes slightly.

There were many rooms in the transmission area of Devil’s Horn. Among them were single rooms for Lone Apostles to use, as well as transmission halls for Apostle teams. Most of these team transmission halls were furnished with small lounges and pastries and tea, like luxury boxes in high-end clubs.

When Qin Lun pushed the door open and entered Transmission Hall 12, this team transmission hall had not yet been sealed off by a Magical Array. On the sofas inside the room, nine Apostles with different appearances were either sitting or standing.

After he entered, these Apostles stopped what they were doing and turned to look at him. One burly man’s eyes flashed, and he asked in a deep voice, “Are you Qin Lun?”

“Are you Lord Stark, whom Odo mentioned?” Qin Lun looked at the burly man, a warm, comforting smile appearing on his face. He bowed respectfully and said, “I am Qin Lun. It’s an honor to meet you, seniors!”
