Venom detects the scent of the mutant chemicals on an agent. Iron Man realizes the agent was exposed to the Extremis Virus during a past incident. The agent's gunshots seemingly vaporized the virus, leading Iron Man to believe the agent may have accidentally achieved a polymorphic transition, gaining recovery abilities.

Iron Man was there roaring for a long time, then turned and saw the agent expressionless. He opened his mouth to say something, then stopped. After thinking, he said, "If you don’t let me draw blood for examination, I can’t be sure whether you’ve absorbed the Extremis Virus or if there will be any side effects. If something happens later, I won’t be able to help."

That sounded a bit like a threat. However, the agent certainly couldn’t sign such a waiver of after-sales service. So he still extended his arm and let Iron Man draw blood.

The test was very quick because Iron Man was very familiar with the Extremis Virus. He glanced at the results and said, "That’s right, it’s the Extremis Virus. But you haven’t absorbed much, probably because most of it dissipated after being vaporized; to fully absorb it, it needs to be administered through atomization..."

At this point, Natasha and the others had also come in, hearing the word "atomization." Peter immediately said, "So, the Extremis Virus can be made into a gaseous form?"

"It seems so now," said Iron Man. He quickly regained his enthusiasm for life and stopped thinking about going to jail, starting to research the blood analysis report.

"The Extremis Virus has a high tolerance for temperature and won’t deactivate in a high-temperature state. I’ve tried converting it to a gaseous form through evaporation before but didn’t succeed. Could it be that my temperature wasn’t high enough?"

Iron Man began fiddling with the gun again. Natasha noticed that when "Diana’s Blessing" was in Iron Man’s hand, she felt dizzy. However, Peter was much more professional than her. He squinted slightly as he looked at the gun and said, "This gun is magic-driven, isn’t it?"

As a former Spider-Man, now a magician and Black Sun believer, Peter could sense the strong magic energy on the gun. Iron Man looked up at him, and Peter walked over, took the gun, and said, "Moreover, it’s not ordinary magic. It should be some kind of divine power. Could it come from Asgardian?"

"Mount Olympus," the agent said, "this gun was forged by the Fire God, Wonder Woman’s brother, for me."

"Magic..." Iron Man began to think.

"Wait," Natasha suddenly realized a problem. "If the Extremis Virus vaporized and was absorbed by the people present, then Pamela..."

Everyone’s expression turned serious, and they quickly went to find Pamela. Pamela went into the warehouse to get something, and once she returned, she saw several people staring at her closely.

"Draw a blood sample too," Iron Man said without looking up, "I think there shouldn’t be any big problem, but it’s best to check."

Pamela felt a bit baffled, but Natasha didn’t object, so she let Iron Man draw a blood sample. After checking it, Iron Man said, "There’s nothing abnormal. It’s possible he was too far away, didn’t inhale much, or his own strength expelled the Extremis Virus."

"Wait, what’s going on?" Pamela asked.

Peter briefly summarized the situation for her, and Pamela showed a knowing expression, then shook her head and said, "This is also considered a benefit for All Things Green believers. We are immune to all poisons, not just the Extremis Virus, even fear gas is ineffective against me."

"It seems I’m the only one affected," sighed the agent.

"What kind of attitude is that?" Iron Man looked at him with some dissatisfaction, "Do you know how expensive my Extremis Virus is? I’m giving it to you for free, and you’re still picky. Besides, this thing can give you superpowers, not only making you stronger but also granting you strong self-healing power. Aren’t agents the most in need of this ability?"

"I can’t say I don’t need it," the agent still seemed a bit indifferent, "but I can do without it."

Iron Man insisted on explaining to him, saying, "If you shoot the gun yourself, you’ll get hurt. With self-healing power, you can fire indefinitely!"

"Who told you getting hurt is a bad thing," the agent said, "Isn’t it possible that your superpower cancels out my superpower?"

These words seemed a bit confusing for Iron Man. Pamela, however, laughed out loud; she obviously understood what Shiller meant. But the agent also appeared indifferent, saying, "But I don’t care whether I have superpowers. If you want me to pay for this, I won’t spend a penny."

Iron Man opened his mouth, unable to say he had no ill intentions at all. Naturally, he thought that if the agent tasted the sweetness and didn’t want to give up the superpowers brought by the Extremis Virus, he would still have to ask him, and then he could ask him to do something later. He still trusted Shiller’s abilities.

Unexpectedly, the person affected didn’t seem to care much. Iron Man also couldn’t understand how anyone could not want such good abilities in this world.

But it wasn’t the first day he couldn’t understand this matter. When he was running pyramid schemes with the Extremis Virus before, he was shocked to discover that the user renewal rate wasn’t 100%, not understanding how anyone wouldn’t want to be a super perfect human.

However, at this point, the others’ discussion had already entered the next stage. Peter said, "If the scent emitted from the agent is the same as Venom smelled, then we can basically confirm that those chemicals contain components of the Extremis Virus."

He stopped talking at this point because continuing would amount to naming Iron Man. But in reality, Peter didn’t quite believe this was Iron Man’s doing, yet all evidence strengthened his suspicion. Just using Venom’s and the agent’s testimony could convict him.

However, Peter still wanted to try harder. So he said, "Does the Extremis Virus drive people insane?"

He looked at Iron Man, and Iron Man was looking at him too. Iron Man incredulously said, "Why would I add ingredients that drive people insane? If they all turned into rabid zombies, they wouldn’t even be able to use their phones, how would they renew their subscriptions? I can’t possibly give them calls for free, can I?"

Everyone present was a bit speechless. You could say Iron Man is evil, he created something like this, but he doesn’t use it to create a zombie siege; anyone else’s Extremis Virus would be more destructive than his. The Court of Owls used his Extremis Virus to create Super Sentinel Robots, and now this Behind-the-scenes Manipulator has concocted a poison that turns people into Cyborgs, each more hazardous than his pyramid scheme plan.

Sometimes, Iron Man carries a sort of pure evil idealism, certainly not in a good way. Generally speaking, people’s ambition expands with their capabilities, especially for the wicked.

Take for instance, previously, the Court of Owls merely watched over Gotham, used some upper-class society methods to cause trouble for Batman. But after the cosmos fused, and they got their hands on Mother Demon and the Extremis Virus, they immediately started creating super weapons, wanting to rule the entire Earth.

Hydra and the Assassin’s Union are the same. As they say, the bigger the heart, the bigger the stage; conversely, the bigger the stage, the bigger the heart. Double the number of villains means double the criminal methods, and the combined power is much greater than before. They naturally wouldn’t be content to remain behind the scenes but instead want to step into the spotlight and rightfully rule the world.

White Can is different. His ambition doesn’t match his capabilities. It’s not that he wants too much, quite the opposite; he wants too little. Clearly, he could go the agriculture and animal husbandry route, choke the global food supply, create a worldwide water resource crisis through water system pollution, or at the very least, manufacture a Zombie Army to serve as a protector akin to an Umbrella Corporation.

But he chose to engage in pyramid schemes, striving just to sell some Extremis Virus for money, and even then voluntarily renewing, never forcing anyone. He doesn’t even engage in false advertising; all seemingly exaggerated advertising slogans can truly be accomplished by the Extremis Virus.

To some extent, he’s a true businessman. Whether holding a gun or a nuclear bomb, it’s all the same business; one can truly praise him for not forgetting his original intention.

"So there’s another ingredient," Peter said, "What destroys people’s spirits and turns them into madmen?"

"No," Eddie suddenly spoke up, denying it, "it’s not about destroying one’s spirit; it’s about making people extremely exhilarated, and under excessive excitement, aggression occurs."

"What color was the chemical you saw?" Iron Man suddenly asked.

"Does color matter?" Natasha countered.

"Of course, you don’t think a chemical can just dye itself any color it wants, right? Every bit of ingredient can potentially affect the outcome. No chemist would waste time dyeing the finished product. Its natural state reveals a lot."

"It’s purple," Eddie said, "that very pale purple, hardly noticeable unless looked at closely."

"Purple..."

"What color is the Extremis Virus?" Natasha asked again.

"It comes in all colors. The mother base is colorless, displaying different colors depending on the added ingredients." Iron Man paced the lab, then said, "I don’t have any purple Extremis Virus, but I know several components can turn it purple, yet these components differ from the effects you mentioned..."

Suddenly, Eddie said, "Isn’t the canister behind the Sentinel Robot I ate that day filled with purple liquid?"

"We wouldn’t know; the canister isn’t transparent," Natasha mused, "but if the ingredients are the same as in the canister, didn’t you taste it before?"

"Don’t you know Venom? Eddie said, "speaking incoherently and never knowing what we’re thinking daily. It’s normal he didn’t taste it."

This argument is somewhat flimsy but impossible to disprove. That Bane-type Sentinel Robot seldom appeared, and after being defeated by Venom with Spider Power, was directly devoured. Apart from consuming Venom, nobody knows his specific situation.

If Venom claims the liquid is purple and tastes consistent with the chemical in the box, nobody can refute it, after all, only he has encountered both substances.

"It must be the Court of Owls," Peter said, "only the Court of Owls has both the Extremis Virus and the liquid in that Sentinel Robot canister. They probably mixed them, trying to cause us trouble."

This explanation is barely reasonable. The Court of Owls retreated in advance, clearly prepared, leaving Earth with some lingering trouble as they departed is normal.

With this result, Natasha went back to report. Unexpectedly, even such a definite result had room for reversal. This time, even if Iron Man went to court, they may not convict him.

No one likes to mention the Civil War, nor wants to publicize events from that time; likely, it won’t be the focus of the trial. Happy’s mutation has strong eyewitness testimony, not necessarily convicting Iron Man. Then all that’s left is the experimental accident, but judging the experimental accident, Pamela is also implicated. Pamela can’t be deterred, so this matter will be gently brushed off, truly allowing Iron Man to narrowly escape.
