Tony Stark reveals his family's history of integrating with financial consortia and his personal dislike for the community they live in. To spite his neighbors, he lets his mansion fall into disrepair. When confronted by community members and lawyers threatening to auction his house, Stark uses a combination of threats and manipulation to force them to pay for the cleanup.

The group sat in the car, watching the cleaning company employees enter the house. Stark put his sunglasses on again and said, "They won’t finish tidying up anytime soon, so let me take you to the beach for a spin."

The beach in East Hampton, Long Island, has been ranked as America’s top beach. It’s not one of those tropical white sandy beaches, but it possesses more charm than tropical beaches. On the winter beach, there are few people, and the golden sand is like a crescent moon in the night sky. Under the azure sky, the cold and damp sea breeze gives off a sense of transparency.

They went to the seaside and found a bar to sit down at, ordering some snacks and drinks. Ethan spoke up, "I’m still a bit puzzled, why did you come with us? Shouldn’t you be looking for members of The Avengers?"

"They each have their own ideas." Stark took a bite of his French fries, "Steve, that old relic, just loves Brooklyn, believing that’s the real New York. Matt leans towards the Bronx because it’s close to his home. Others, including Nick, prefer Manhattan because it’s closer to where Shiller works, which minimizes his commute."

"These make more sense." Dr. Banner evaluated objectively, "Compared to them, Long Island really doesn’t have much advantage besides the natural scenery."

"Who says?" Stark obviously disagreed, "Now with the flying shuttle, getting to New York City Center takes only a few minutes. The quality of houses here is far superior to those in other districts and more suitable for Shiller’s spending capacity. Plus—being close to me is the biggest advantage, right?"

"The last point is debatable." Ethan said, "Honestly, sometimes distance creates beauty, especially for Shiller."

Stark looked at Peter because Peter lived with Shiller for a long time. Back in high school, Peter practically lived in Shiller’s little clinic. Peter thought for a moment and then said, "Firstly, your schedule and Doctor Shiller’s aren’t quite the same. If you want to be neighbors with him and drop by for visits, you might have to adjust your schedule a bit."

"You just don’t understand." Stark said, "For Little Morgan, my routine has become incredibly healthy. I wake up at 5 AM and go to bed at 9 PM every day; this should perfectly match Shiller’s schedule, right?"

"So you want us to be your advocates." Banner put one arm on the table and said, "But aside from Peter, the two of us aren’t that familiar with Shiller. If he’s buying a house, he probably won’t refer to our opinions."

Stark waved his hand and said, "You’ll understand later."

Meanwhile, Greed and Arrogant were house-hunting with Matt in the Bronx. The Bronx, like Queens District, is large, and it’s not without rich areas; there are still some pretty decent houses.

Upon discovering the real estate agents he found were unreliable, Matt decided to take matters into his own hands. Having worked as a lawyer for so many years, he still has some connections and soon found a nice house.

This time, the house is truly all-encompassing: the location is not secluded, the surroundings are relatively quiet, the house itself is quite good, and it was completely renovated a few years ago with modern aesthetics.

As they toured the house, they found many advantages. For instance, the backyard has a wide view, and there’s a large glass window at the back with great lighting; plus the back has a lawn with no neighboring houses, offering good privacy. The size and structure of the house are quite suitable.

Of course, there are downsides, too. For example, this house can only be considered a villa, not a mansion, much less an estate. In other words, the house only has a front and back yard and lacks supporting facilities.

Typically, a mansion must have a large independent garage, a swimming pool, tennis courts, flying shuttle station, and private beach would be even better.

Greed included this house in his consideration range, but the priority wasn’t high because it is indeed a bit small and cannot meet his reception needs. He still chatted with Matt about the house’s history.

"A family emigrated from here." Matt said, "They left recently."

"Which country did they go to?"

"Uh, Shi’ar Empire."

"What?"

"They emigrated to the Shi’ar Empire." Matt shrugged, "It’s not that unusual. After the interstellar teleportation portals opened, many wanted to immigrate interstellarly. The other two Great Empires aren’t immigrant countries; only the Shi’ar Empire accepts large numbers of immigrants, so it’s normal for someone to emigrate there."

"Alright." Greed was indeed a bit surprised, possibly because from his perspective, he felt the Three Great Empires had nothing good. But from an ordinary person’s perspective, it might be like looking at America from a third-world country, feeling it’s developed and prosperous, and wanting to take the family there.

In fact, the Shi’ar Empire is indeed quite good. They aren’t militaristic; commerce and trade are also thriving. Apart from all citizens having to worship the Twin Gods, there aren’t very strict immigration requirements; in fact, they are eager for people to emigrate there.

The human race is gradually learning about the existence of the Three Great Empires from the news. Many people from the Three Great Empires also promote their countries on social media. The Kree Empire and Skrull Empire typically promote how strong their armies are; the Shi’ar Empire is more gentle, preferring to promote cultural and scenic features.

Although humans have dealt a harsh blow before, a wound that still hasn’t healed and may not heal for thousands of years, the Three Great Empires are still bigger than a horse, and they can’t just collapse like that. Perhaps it is precisely because there’s no other way that they can only use this kind of soft output method to recover some public opinion.

Greed pulled out his phone to start searching similar content and found quite a few people promoting emigration to the Three Great Empires, even with guides on route-taking. Greed couldn’t fathom how humans would navigate the cosmos — despite some physical enhancements, they can’t freely move in a vacuum, probably through spaceships or something similar.

Unlike internal migration within Earth, where generally people from economically underdeveloped areas move to developed countries; interstellar migration is ironically the opposite, with people from developed countries like America heading outwards.

But upon reflection, aside from the absurd method of route-taking, to successfully arrive at the other end of the cosmos would cost a fortune. Firstly, one must obtain interstellar universal coins, not something ordinary people can get without trading with aliens; secondly, one needs channels to acquire life support equipment and gain legal status in the destination country, not to mention purchasing property. This is basically something only upper-class people can achieve.

Greed observed this property. This family must be quite wealthy, considering New York is pricey per square foot. While this house isn’t the top-tier mansion, it’s still a pretty good villa. This shows how prosperous this family’s life is; perhaps they believe they have a greater development opportunity in the Shi’ar Empire.

"Do you think this is a good thing?" Matt asked.

"There’s no good or bad." Shiller said, "Immigrants can probably be divided into two types, one pursuing profit, the other pursuing Utopia. The former, as long as you’re competent and not too greedy, have a chance of success; the latter, no matter where they immigrate to, will end up disappointed."

"The first type going out benefits us. Because they can establish a foothold elsewhere, and to seize greater profits, they must help their matriarchy, meaning Earth, or at least unite with other immigrants. This also counts as spreading human culture."

"The second type going out also benefits us. On one hand, it reduces Earth’s survival pressure, making space a bit roomier; on the other, it prevents them from being dissatisfied with Earth, always conspiring to cause trouble."

"What about them? Will the Three Great Empires be a good destination?"

"You should know better, Murdoch lawyer." Greed laughed and shook his head, "After so many court cases, haven’t you figured out one thing? All intelligent life forms adhere to the same social codes, no exceptions."

Matt also shook his head helplessly. The opponents he met at the interstellar court were no different from those he encountered on Earth. Their manners, defense strategies, and even their argumentative styles were exactly the same.

This proves that as long as a life form possesses both intelligence and emotions, regardless of appearance, the reactions to the same matter are similar. No race is an exception.

This illustrates that the social status of most civilizations within the cosmos isn’t much different from humans. Even if the Three Great Empires have long achieved infinite energy, their societies are still the same, far from achieving the "ideal state" human beings imagine.

The existence of the Three Great Empires actually proves that the evolution of social forms has limits, and won’t forever progress with technological development. At the end of development, it definitely isn’t Utopia, but merely a larger version of Earth.

"If they want to pursue a dreamland, leaving Earth is essentially going far from their goal." Matt expressed his view, "In fact, I think human civilization is closest to Utopia, our path is the correct one."

"No matter what you want to pursue, leaving Earth is going far from your goal." Greed said, "Otherwise, why would the Three Great Empires struggle so hard to gain Earth?"

"I also wonder why, but it seems there might be some deeper reasons." Matt shook his head.

Greed and Arrogant exchanged glances. The real reason was that Earth’s location as the cosmos’s center within the Marvel Universe was to restore order and return to the old capital.

"Did anyone else help you find a house?" Matt asked.

"Everyone’s helping." Greed walked towards the staircase, "I have an appointment with Natasha this afternoon. Nick found me a house in Queens District, and I’m planning to check it out."

"That’s also a good area." Matt said, "All supporting facilities are quite complete, and the security is better than here. If you buy a house there, you’ll be neighbors with Peter."

"No matter where in New York I buy a house, I’ll be neighbors with one of you." Greed shook his head helplessly, "With your houses scattered across New York’s districts, if I were to play Santa Claus delivering gifts, I’d have to run around the entire New York perimeter."

"Then I’ll be waiting for you." Matt laughed, "Little Jack is most looking forward to your Christmas present. He loved the Phantom Magic Book set you gave him last year, and he asks me every day when you’re coming."

"I won’t let you down." Greed said triumphantly, "This year will only be better than last."
