Consumed by fear and pain, this Great Demon met its demise within the jaws of the Yin Beast, and the Demon Clan began to suffer casualties, their horrific screams echoing.

At that precise moment, a powerful Yin Beast, resembling a colossal bear standing three feet tall with pillar-like limbs and gleaming, sharp claws, breached the cabin where the Demon King was situated, engaging him in a struggle.

With a single, decisive swipe, a gaping hole was torn through the cabin wall, directly where Yuan Sensen's private quarters were located.

Within the cabin, the demons finally glimpsed the true visage of the Yin Beast. Its sinister and horrifying appearance sent waves of fear through many of the elderly and infirm demons, causing them to scream.

These sounds reached Chen Nan's ears. He turned, just in time to see the bear-like Yin Beast snatch Yuan Sensen through the opening with its formidable claws!

Its enormous head, featuring a bloodthirsty maw filled with razor-sharp teeth, was poised to descend!

"No!"

An overwhelming aura erupted from Chen Nan's being, accompanied by a resounding detonation that filled the air. He transformed into a streak of lightning, traversing the distance instantaneously and crashing into the bear-like Yin Beast with the force of a cannonball!

A dull thud echoed as the bear reeled back a few steps, though its injuries were not severe. The Yin Energy enveloping it flickered and dissipated briefly before rapidly reforming.

This formidable Yin Beast was on par with a cultivator in the Nascent Soul Realm!

Yuan Sensen, ensnared in its grasp, tumbled down, utterly petrified and pale-faced. She only regained her senses once Chen Nan caught her, feeling his familiar warmth.

"This is not good!"

Chen Nan's expression shifted drastically. He urgently summoned the Heaven-Burning Flame, attempting to incinerate the threads, but they adhered stubbornly, digging even deeper into his skin.

Neither the Thunder nor the flames could vanquish these threads, which incessantly drained Chen Nan's Mana, much like parasitic blood-sucking worms.
