Du Xiong coldly confronted Liu Caidie, refusing to yield and revealing that her grandfather is under his father's control, threatening his life to force her compliance. Desperate, Liu Caidie offered to marry him as his wife in exchange for her grandfather's and others' release, but Du Xiong rejected the terms outright. He declared she would become his concubine instead, leaving everyone present stunned.

"Du Xiong, you’ve lost your mind!"

Han Ling’er was the first to react to Du Xiong’s statement, glaring fiercely at him as she yelled.

A cold sneer crossed Du Xiong’s face. "Han Ling’er, no need to yell so gleefully. Since Caidie’s now my concubine, guess who steps up as my principal wife?"

At those words, Han Ling’er’s expression shifted dramatically while a certain realization hit her.

Rage exploded from her as she bellowed, "No, it’s impossible!"

Du Xiong burst out laughing. "That’s right, got it already? Exactly, it’s you, Han Ling’er."

"Though I’m not fond of you, strip naked and I’ll grudgingly make do. Picture it: you and Caidie side by side in bed, all three of us under the covers—pure Immortal bliss!"

"Ah, Du Xiong, you vile scum, die!"

Overcome with fury, Han Ling’er roared and lunged with a fierce strike at Du Xiong.

Spotting her move, Du Xiong swiftly retreated. Undeterred, Han Ling’er closed in fast, unleashing a barrage of palm strikes against him.

Du Xiong dodged with perfect calm.

Her assaults raining down, Du Xiong slapped one aside, hurling Han Ling’er backward through the air.

Gazing at the airborne Han Ling’er, Du Xiong chuckled. "With such weak skills, you dare challenge me?"

Sent reeling by the slap, Han Ling’er snapped back icily, "What’s there to brag about in your Dragon Realm?"

Du Xiong’s features hardened slightly. "Not every Dragon Realm is equal!"

Ha!

Du Xiong slammed his foot down hard, shaking the ground violently. His muscles then swelled and hardened explosively.

He shot a look at Han Ling’er. "Sure, both Dragon Realm, but recall—I’m from cross training."

With that, Du Xiong unleashed a punch that blasted Han Ling’er crashing into the trees behind her.

"Cough cough... Rainbow Realm!"

Eyes narrowing, Du Xiong grinned. "Haha, shocked? No need—my martial talent dwarfs yours several times over. Ever wonder why my breakthroughs always trailed yours by a step?"

"Cross training, that’s why. I haven’t forgotten your mockery of my slow progress—you dubbed me ’simpleton,’ didn’t you, Han Ling’er?"

Those words twisted Han Ling’er’s face into a mask of ugliness.

"Simpleton, haha! Truth is, you lot are the simpletons—talentless idiots puffed up with arrogance. Marrying you would be your lifetime blessing. Frankly, you’d make the lowliest concubine!"

Du Xiong bellowed and hammered another brutal punch at Han Ling’er.

She threw up a desperate block, but the overwhelming power flung her away again, forcing a gush of blood from her lips.

"Puh~"

Fresh blood sprayed forth. Liu Caidie, witnessing the scene, snarled angrily, "Du Xiong, don’t push it too far."

Once, Du Xiong would’ve begged forgiveness, but this awakened version held no weakness for Liu Caidie. Coldly, he retorted, "A husband correcting his wife—you, a lowly concubine, dare butt in? This doesn’t concern you—scram."

"You bastard!" Liu Caidie seethed and dove into the fight.

"Ling’er, together—today he pays dearly!"

"Perfect, we’ll crush him as one. Isn’t your grandfather held by Du Zundao? We’ll trade him for the Venerable."

"Yes, subdue him and swap for my grandfather!" Enlightenment dawned on Liu Caidie; she roared, "Charge!"

Together, she and Han Ling’er assaulted Du Xiong.

Disdain filled Du Xiong’s face. "Trading me for Liu Futong? As if you’re capable!"
