Previously on D.E.M.O.N.S: Getting Summoned Weekly isn't so Bad...
Kat and Appoline meet with Amaranth, a plant-like being who requests their help clearing a monster from her greenhouse in exchange for a trade. Appoline agrees, but after leaving, she reveals that Amaranth is an Alarune, a monster that lures people to their deaths, and notes that Amaranth's ability to speak is highly unusual. They also discuss how Amaranth appeared differently to each of them and suspect time magic might be involved.
