Previously on Cultivation is just so scientific!...
Li Yuanba begins a decades-long secluded cultivation to reach the Peak Great Cultivator realm. Meanwhile, Jian Wuwei visits the Ten Thousand Beast Sect to secure an alliance and discuss an alchemy commission, recognizing Li Shizhen as the former Li Shiming.

The official business concluded, and Grandmaster Hu, without bringing any other cultivators, directly escorted Jian Wuwei to Li Shiming’s cave abode.

From his initial entry into the Ten Thousand Beast Sect, Jian Wuwei had been utterly mesmerized by the sight of seven mountain peaks suspended in the sky.

His understanding was not superficial; as he neared the seven peaks, he could distinctly feel the potent energy emanating from the formations.

When two of the peaks shifted apart, unveiling the path to the central peak, he passed close to one, experiencing an overwhelming sense of oppression, a terrifying pressure that felt capable of threatening his very existence.

Although his cultivation level differed, he remained a practitioner at the Nascent Soul Middle Stage, and few formations possessed the power to ensnare cultivators of such a caliber.

Yet, a singular mountain peak in this place managed to make him feel utterly suppressed.

This was, of course, entirely anticipated, given that these peaks were integral components of a grand trap meticulously devised by the six major powers of the Cloud Island Sea, specifically designed to counter a peak Great Cultivator like Li Shiming.

A mountain peak that could contend with a top Great Cultivator was certainly capable of exerting formidable formation suppression upon a Mid-Stage Nascent Soul Practitioner.

Upon reaching the central peak, Jian Wuwei perceived its sheer ordinariness; its sole remarkable characteristic was the intricate formation that sustained its position in the air; otherwise, he found nothing else of particular note.

He even began to feel that such a mountain was hardly befitting of Li Shiming, a renowned peak Great Cultivator and esteemed Alchemy Master.

"Master, I am an old acquaintance of Mr. Jian. Please attend to your own affairs!" Just as Grandmaster Hu guided Jian Wuwei toward the cave entrance, a voice emanated from within.

"Shizhen, in that case, I shall take my leave!" Grandmaster Hu, without further inquiry, departed with a smile, then addressed Jian Wuwei, "Mr. Jian, a cultivator will escort you to your accommodations after our meeting!"

Jian Wuwei offered a nod to Grandmaster Hu and stepped into the cave abode without a moment's hesitation.

Within the cave's main hall, he encountered Li Shiming, who greeted him with a warm smile.

"Mr. Li, it has been many years!" Jian Wuwei returned the smile, offered a bow, and then directed his gaze toward Yin Shilan, a playful glint in his eyes as he remarked, "Mr. Yin, it seems true lovers have indeed found their union!"

Even during his time on the Beishu Continent, he had been privy to the narrative surrounding Li Shiming and Yin Shilan.

It was rather unexpected to encounter this Daoist couple again after so many years, and on an entirely different continent at that.

"Thank you, Mr. Jian!" Yin Shilan responded with a slight smile, rose from her seat, and promptly presented Spirit Fruits and Spiritual Tea to offer hospitality to their guest.

Li Shiming, also smiling, assisted her with the arrangements.

For a brief instant, Jian Wuwei experienced a fleeting sense of envy towards the Daoist couple, but he quickly dismissed the thought.

As a Sword Cultivator, his Lifebound Flying Sword served as his lifelong companion; he had no need for a Daoist partner.

"Mr. Li, my visit is for two primary reasons: firstly, to propose an alliance with the Ten Thousand Beast Sect, and secondly, to have the pleasure of your acquaintance. This token is from my disciple, Li Yuanba!" Jian Wuwei presented the token Li Yuanba had given him.

"In truth, Brother Yuan Ba need not have gone to such lengths. Mr. Jian and I are old friends, and with the Sword Intent Chongxiao Pavilion's alliance with the Ten Thousand Beast Sect, I will certainly prioritize alchemy matters with the Sword Intent Chongxiao Pavilion moving forward!" Li Shiming stated, accepting the token with a smile and setting it aside.

"With your assurance, Mr. Li, I am greatly relieved!" Jian Wuwei felt a significant burden lifted and expressed his relief with a smile.

"I must offer Mr. Jian my apologies," Li Shiming said, a hint of helplessness in his tone as a memory surfaced.

"May I inquire as to the reason for this apology?" Jian Wuwei appeared slightly taken aback, unable to recall any prior connection or dealings with Li Shiming that would warrant such an apology.

"I am the one who restructured the seven major sects of the Beishu Continent, and as a result, the Senluo Sect no longer exists!" Li Shiming explained with candor.

Upon hearing this, Jian Wuwei's expression shifted to one of marked surprise.

However, he quickly grasped the situation; with Li Shiming’s current formidable power and influence, all matters on the Beishu Continent were less of an asset and more of a potential burden to him.

Li Shiming's restructuring of the sects in Beishu Continent was undertaken solely for the continent's ultimate benefit.

Regarding the demise of the Senluo Sect, Jian Wuwei candidly admitted that if not for the fortunate circumstances of finding refuge and receiving treatment under his master after his wandering arrival in Beishu, he would never have chosen to establish roots within a Demon Sect.

Within the confines of the Senluo Sect, he had found little in common with the other Devil Cultivators and maintained rather poor relations with them.

"The disappearance of the Senluo Sect may very well prove to be a blessing for the Beishu Continent!" Jian Wuwei stated with calm conviction.

"While the Senluo Sect is gone, its legacy has been preserved, integrated as a branch under the newly reformed Beishu Sect. I did not resort to overly harsh methods in my dealings with the Beishu Continent!" Li Shiming elaborated further.

Jian Wuwei's final lingering attachment dissolved; the knowledge that the sect where he had spent so many years would retain its legacy was more than sufficient.

The fact that Li Shiming eschewed any heavy-handed tactics was something Jian Wuwei found difficult to accept. With Li Shiming's established cultivation, his mere presence served as the ultimate coercive force within the Beishu Continent's Cultivation World.

"Mr. Jian, you have my gratitude, and also to your esteemed pavilion's Sword Elder. I have a token of appreciation prepared, which I would be honored if you would deliver to him!" Li Shiming stated, extending a jade box.

Jian Wuwei was well aware of the underlying reason for Li Shiming's words, concerning the distinguished Luo Yuan of the Yuqing Sect. Sword Intent Chongxiao Pavilion was, in fact, one of the key powerful entities supporting him.

"I shall accept this on behalf of the Sword Elder and ensure its personal delivery, conveying Mr. Li's esteemed regards!" Jian Wuwei responded, accepting the jade box with both hands.

He carefully lifted the lid of the jade box, only to gently close it again moments later.

Within lay six portions of Fourth Grade Inquiry Tea. Had it not been for his exceptionally keen sense of smell, a more prolonged exposure might have allowed some of its potent spiritual essence to dissipate, a loss he would have deeply regretted.

He fully grasped the immense value of Fourth Grade Inquiry Tea, acknowledging it as potentially the finest tea available in the entire Cultivation World.

Although intended for the Sword Elder's personal use, its remarkable efficacy and value would largely be distributed amongst the other Sword Cultivators, serving to strengthen them.

The two then engaged in reminiscing about past events on the Beishu Continent, a conversation that captivated Yin Shilan, who occasionally interjected her thoughts.

It wasn't until Jian Wuwei's communication jade pendant chimed that their meeting drew to a close.

Yin Shilan accompanied Jian Wuwei to the exit of the cave abode; he had no expectation that Li Shiming would escort him personally. Given Li Shiming's present status within the Cultivation World, had Jian Wuwei not been representing Sword Intent Chongxiao Pavilion, such a meeting on equal footing would have been improbable.

As he departed the seven Floating Mountains, his gaze involuntarily drifted back.

He found it astounding that Li Shiming, celebrated as the paramount figure in wartime might throughout the Cultivation World, had emerged from the very Beishu Continent, just as he himself had.

Truly, the Beishu Continent was a cradle of exceptional talent; Li Shiming, recognized as the most formidable among peak Great Cultivators, and though Li Yuanba had not yet attained that pinnacle, his combat prowess was widely regarded as being among the very best of peak Great Cultivators.

That both hailed from the Beishu Continent naturally stirred a profound sense of connection within Jian Wuwei.

He never harbored any suspicion of a connection between Li Shiming and Li Yuanba; indeed, even the most imaginative cultivator would have failed to foresee that Li Shiming and Li Yuanba were, in essence, body and avatar.

Within the Cultivation World, avatars typically exist to manage worldly affairs; the existence of an independently sentient and cultivating avatar is exceptionally rare.

Furthermore, Li Yuanba's extraordinary capacity for formation vastly exceeded the typical capabilities of an avatar.

This closely guarded secret, held by Li Shiming, was beyond the grasp of any cultivator to uncover, and he had no intention of revealing it, thereby enabling Li Yuanba to amass considerable combat experience without ever leaving their home.

Jian Wuwei cast a glance at his communication jade pendant, noting a Sword Cultivator's growing concern due to his extended absence; typical visits were never this lengthy, clearly exceeding a standard meeting with Li Shiming.

His significant standing naturally caused unease in the awaiting Sword Cultivator.
