Asher laughs off a serious moment, playfully mocking his friends. Vaelric announces he must leave to join his legendary grandfather, the former Emperor Cyrvexis, on a Sky Jet, though he doesn't know the reason. The group speculates this is for training, but Cyrvexis's true motive is Vaelric's friendship with Asher, aiming to groom Vaelric for the throne.

The sun rose from beneath the horizon, bathing the world in its golden glow. It was already 9 a.m. in the morning, pretty early for someone who always woke up late like Asher. Without missing a beat, Asher hopped out of bed as he went to do his normal morning routine.

Soon, he was done, went to the cupboard, and simply took out the only remaining set of clothes left within, as his Photon Clone had already done the packing while he was asleep.

With that done, Asher rose to his feet and walked out of his room as he decided to head towards William’s room. They were always the ones coming to his room, so he decided to head to one of theirs this time. He pressed the room’s doorbell.

William opened the door, thinking it was Finch or Vaelric, but seeing Asher standing at his doorway left him a bit surprised.

"Asher?" he spoke as his head tilted to the side.

Asher walked past him as he stepped into the room with calm steps. "Why are you so surprised to see me? You guys have always been the ones coming over, so I decided to show up this time," he said, his tone calm.

William closed the door as he simply nodded his head, his surprise already having vanished.

"So, what next?" Asher asked as he looked around William’s room, entering the space as he made his way towards the fridge and took out an orange fruit juice.

William sat on his bed as he spoke. "Nothing really. The other guys would be here in a few minutes. We were supposed to head to your room together, but since you are already here, there’s no need for that. FatelessPen would be getting us once it’s 10 a.m., then we would use an hour to get to the airport and board the Sky Jet," he explained the itinerary for the day.

Before Asher could even speak, Finch opened the door and walked in, as he already knew the password to the room since he and William were practically best friends, and William also knew the code to his own room.

As Finch entered, the rest followed: Vaelric, Ryaen, but it didn’t stop there. This time, Vaelra and Darissa Camber also entered. The latter two were stunned upon seeing Asher. Although they practically stayed on the highest floor of the hotel, they hardly saw the guy or conversed with him.

Asher’s eyes moved towards Princess Vaelra as he spoke with a calm smile, "Princess Vaelra, it’s been a while. How have you been?"

Although the last time he and Vaelra had any lengthy conversation was months ago after the battle between the Wargrave family and the Imperial family, he still remembered it vividly. Although he had told her that they weren’t close and that she should stop acting so familiar with him, Asher had decided to treat her more gently whenever they met. After all, he was already friends with her twin brother.

"Good morning, Tenth Sun," Vaelra replied with a calm smile, her demeanor welcoming as she stared into Asher’s purple eyes with her brown ones. "I never expected to see you here. It’s been a while," she added.

Asher nodded as he replied, "Indeed, it’s been a while."

Yes, they had seen each other at the tournament, on the bus leading to the tournament, and whenever they came down to the hotel lobby to find their personal drivers to take them to the galas, but they never actually spoke.

Asher broke eye contact after they exchanged greetings, his eyes landing on Darissa Camber.

"You are as beautiful as ever, Lady Darissa," he stated. Her pink hair was still as flawless as ever, perfectly matching her pink eyes.

Asher couldn’t help but grow curious about how powerful her sound ability had become. Although she wasn’t a monstrous genius like Ryaen, or a genius on William’s and the Royal Twins’ level, she wasn’t too far behind either. Her growth had also been remarkable over the past few months.

Asher’s mind couldn’t help but drift towards Zis Zaitsu. Shouldn’t that guy be trying to court Darissa? They both possessed abilities related to sound, and with Darissa having a Bloodline ability, and Zis’ own ability influencing his genes, the Marquis Camber family might just produce the most powerful heir in a few centuries.

But alas, as he had said yesterday, he didn’t own a matchmaking company or anything of the sort.

"Thank you, Tenth Sun," Darissa replied with a cute smile, "but what is my beauty compared to the power you possess?" she added as she shook her head. "If I were truly that beautiful, then my beauty would have gotten me into the top fifty during the Inter-Empire Qualifiers Round, no?" she asked with a light chuckle.

She had always understood that she and Asher shared some sort of friendship on a certain level. After all, she was the one who had truly conversed with him after he left the Wargrave territory for the first time during the Royal Twins’ birthday ball.

Asher laughed for a moment as he shook his head in reply. "You losing might have been better, as those Crown-class Monster Birds from the Thinning Round might have burned you alive," he said, his tone playful as he finally added, "Nice to see you again, truly."

"Thank you," Darissa replied as she found a spot and sat down while the group began to discuss random things.

Asher asked Darissa and Princess Vaelra about their missions, since they were on the same team together with Mama Bones, who had started taking on her own solo missions. Since he had nothing to do, he might as well catch up. After all, who knew when he would see these two again?

Ryaen, Darissa, and Princess Vaelra were happy to talk about it as they simply passed the time with their discussion while they waited for FatelessPen to arrive.

The atmosphere was light as everyone exchanged anecdotes and conversations, talking about the men and women they had hit on, the various places they had visited, and the amusing experiences they had encountered along the way.
