FatelessPen creates a separate dimension for Asher to train in. He then attempts to transform this dimension into a Time Dilation Chamber, but finds he lacks the Astra energy to achieve a one-year-inside-to-one-day-outside ratio. He adjusts the ratio to one week inside to one day outside, still depleting his energy reserves.

With that, he imposed a series of conditions. The entire separate space would operate on the basis that two weeks inside equaled five days in the outside world. Asher Wargrave would not be allowed to leave until those two weeks had passed, and the moment Asher Wargrave left, the entire separate space would crumble out of existence. Lastly, Asher Wargrave would be the only person permitted to use this separate space.

The moment those conditions and limitations were established, FatelessPen’s complexion turned deathly pale as every last mote of Astra energy vanished from his Astra veins, having been completely expended to bring his creation into existence.

The next moment, FatelessPen descended from the sky, his feet touching the earth as he stared at his own creation in pure fascination. Although he had exhausted every ounce of Astra energy within his body, he wasn’t weakened, nor did he pant or collapse unconscious like an ordinary person would. He was a Crownstar Life Ranker; such things simply didn’t apply to him or anyone who had reached that Life Rank. So, although his complexion remained pale, he was still physically and mentally strong.

He stood there in a daze, as though trapped within a euphoric state from which he couldn’t free himself, seemingly having entered some kind of artistic trance.

Several minutes passed before an uncontrollable smile appeared on his lips. It had been a very long time since he had created something that completely emptied his Astra reserves.

As an artist, he loved creating new things, things he had never drawn, seen, or even imagined before.

He couldn’t help but feel grateful towards Asher, of course, he never voiced those thoughts aloud, after all, he had just gifted the boy two entire weeks’ worth of training completely free of charge.

Although spending every drop of his Astra energy might have seemed foolish, especially since he had been entrusted by Cindralis with protecting all of Star Academy’s students, FatelessPen wasn’t the slightest bit concerned.

Long ago, he had already created numerous clones of himself to guard the other students. Each clone possessed power comparable to his own. However, they lacked the ability to create additional clones, and they also possessed several minor limitations. Meanwhile, FatelessPen’s true body remained beside Asher at all times.

As he finally emerged from his trance-like state, FatelessPen slowly lowered himself to the ground before sitting cross-legged. He immediately began drawing Astra energy from the surrounding atmosphere to replenish his depleted reserves. Fortunately, the Astra energy within the air was more than abundant enough for such a task.

Although he had imposed the condition that only Asher was permitted to use the separate space, FatelessPen himself wasn’t restricted by the conditions or limitations he placed upon his own creations unless he deliberately included himself among those restrictions.

After recovering a small portion of his Astra energy, FatelessPen opened his eyes. His soul-bound pen appeared in his hand once more as he casually drew what resembled a recovery zone capable of dramatically accelerating Astra energy regeneration.

With that finished, he stepped into the zone before sitting down once again to continue recovering his depleted reserves.

Alas, ifonly something like an Astra Energy Potion or Astra Pill existed, FatelessPen could have simply drawn one into existence and swallowed it.

Asher merely stood in silence, not daring to disturb FatelessPen. He knew the man had just exhausted every last drop of his Astra energy.

’Did he succeed?’ Asher silently wondered, having no way of knowing the answer since he himself had no ability to manipulate or perceive the flow of time.

Several minutes later, FatelessPen slowly opened his eyes. He had recovered enough Astra energy for the time being. The paleness that had covered his skin gradually disappeared as his complexion returned to normal.

His crimson eyes shifted towards Asher before he spoke, "I can see the curiosity burning in your eyes, and before you ask... yes, I succeeded." His tone carried completely undisguised pride.

Asher couldn’t help but smile at FatelessPen’s words.

Before he could ask anything, however, FatelessPen began speaking again as though he had already anticipated every question.

"My Astra reserves weren’t sufficient to accomplish something as ridiculous as making an entire year pass here while only a single day passed outside," FatelessPen explained, "so instead, I managed to create a space where you’re required to remain here for two weeks while only five days pass in the outside world."

Asher remained silent for a moment before nodding in understanding. He knew FatelessPen had already done everything within his power.

"Does that mean we’re leaving the Thalvorn Empire in five days?" Asher asked.

"No," FatelessPen replied.

"We’re leaving in a week, but I gave you two days of free time afterward to relax with your friends before you die during your journey back to the Zarethorne Empire," he said with a smile, sounding as though he had already accepted Asher’s inevitable death should an attack truly occur.

Asher’s lips twitched slightly, but he chose not to argue, instead, he simply accepted it.

Honestly, he preferred things this way. He was the kind of person who loved to train with absolute intensity before properly resting afterward.

"Also," FatelessPen continued, "you aren’t allowed to leave this place during those two weeks, so don’t even think about trying."

Asher fell silent for a brief moment before asking, "but what if I actually have a way to leave? What happens then?" He asked because he knew that, thanks to Virelass’ Position Marker ability, he technically possessed the means to escape whenever he wanted.

"Then the entire separate space immediately crumbles apart," FatelessPen replied with a casual shrug before rising to his feet.

Asher nodded before asking, "anything else?"

"Nope," FatelessPen answered.

’This way, my own training can progress much faster too,’ FatelessPen thought to himself, genuinely pleased by the concept of a Time Dilation Chamber, he was already looking forward to creating one for himself in the future.

’I suppose I should abandon the idea of drawing the Fruit Of Dawn for myself,’ FatelessPen thought as he quietly shook his head.

If merely creating a Time Dilation Chamber had consumed this much Astra energy, then there was absolutely no way he currently possessed enough Astra energy to manifest something as absurdly overpowered as the Fruit Of Dawn.

"Thank you, FatelessPen," Asher said as he gave a slight bow, genuinely appreciating the fact that FatelessPen had helped him without asking for anything in return.
