Asher returns to his room after the event, reflecting on his recent power-ups and the need for urgent training to catch up to his peers. He realizes he has limited time before their journey back and must prioritize his training, potentially neglecting some areas. Asher also considers if his current trump card, Star Form, is still effective and contemplates the possibility of his talent having increased.

Asher stared at the System’s reply and shook his head. His eyes turned towards the window as he sighed once again before rising from his bed and walking towards the wide window before him. The sky was dark as it was already three o’clock in the morning. Various skyscrapers and high-rise buildings stretched into the distance, each of them brilliantly illuminated as though it wasn’t even nighttime. No matter how many times Asher saw the sight, he could never truly get used to it.

’I wonder if Arianna would call or text me,’ Asher thought to himself as he stared at the world beyond his room.

He had wanted to ask for her phone number instead, but she had left sooner than he had expected, so he had no choice but to use the ambient Astra energy to leave his own number for her.

’I should stop thinking about useless things. For all I know, she has already begun her own training. I should start mine,’ Asher thought to himself as his eyes and body moved away from the world beyond the glass.

His purple eyes landed on the empty space within his room. Due to the new intensity of the training he wanted to carry out, his room simply wasn’t enough. This wasn’t the calm and graceful rapier training he had done alongside Arianna’s shadow earlier. His upcoming training would be far more destructive. So now, his room itself had become his first limitation, especially since the Gentle Hotel didn’t have dedicated training chambers.

As Asher had that thought, an idea immediately flickered through his mind. Since he didn’t have a training chamber, why not call Azaron and have him communicate with Overlord Cynthia to lend him one within the Awakener Association’s skyscraper?

Asher smiled at the idea, but he didn’t have Azaron’s phone number, if that man even owned a phone to begin with, as technology seemed to be the greatest enemy of old people. Asher couldn’t help but imagine Azaron struggling just to answer a phone call.

He laughed quietly at the image before reaching for the wooden talisman Malrik had given him. Since Malrik was always with Azaron, his elder brother could simply pass the message along.

But just as he was about to take out the wooden talisman, he paused as yet another idea flashed through his mind.

What if a Time Dilation Chamber could be provided for him?

If something like that existed, wouldn’t he have far more time to train and improve both his combat strength and combat techniques?

Although he had never personally seen a Time Dilation Chamber, it didn’t necessarily mean one didn’t exist somewhere on this planet... but such a thing would undoubtedly be an incredibly rare treasure, and even if one did exist, the Overlord certainly wouldn’t hand over such a priceless resource to someone who literally belonged to a rival Empire.

But... Asher didn’t need Azaron, Malrik, or even the Overlord to make such a thing happen.

He only needed one man; FatelessPen.

Even if a Time Dilation Chamber didn’t currently exist anywhere in the world, Asher couldn’t help but smirk at the thought of simply making the man draw one into existence for him. Perhaps he could even have the flow of time adjusted so that one year inside the chamber equaled a single day in the outside world.

Although such a thought seemed utterly preposterous, as time itself wasn’t something that could be manipulated so casually, and if something that absurd truly could be done, then FatelessPen would have abused it long ago to become vastly stronger than everyone else, suppressing nearly the entire world.

Even so, Asher still wanted to try, he couldn’t know unless he actually asked.

But unknown to Asher, FatelessPen couldn’t simply draw anything that came to mind. Everything he created through his drawings had to have existed first. Meaning, if a Time Dilation Chamber didn’t exist somewhere in reality, then attempting to draw one would be completely impossible.

With that, Asher softly whispered FatelessPen’s name beneath his breath.

"FatelessPen."

FatelessPen had previously said that anyone who needed him simply had to call his name, and he would appear. So that was exactly what Asher did.

FatelessPen materialized like a ghost behind Asher before speaking in a calm tone.

"Hoo! Seems like you finally remembered this lowly servant of yours, Dominator," his voice filled with amusement.

"Who said I forgot you? I’ve just been too busy these past few days," Asher replied with a smile as he shook his head.

"I heard everything from your four musketeer friends," FatelessPen replied as he stared at Asher, silently wondering what sort of monster he was looking at.

Yes, from the very first moment they had met, he could already tell that Asher was strong, judging by the way the young man carried himself and by the way powerful individuals naturally gravitated towards him. But after witnessing the Inter-Empire Tournament, even FatelessPen had come to realize that he too had greatly underestimated this young man.

’More talented than the First Sun?’ FatelessPen wondered inwardly before immediately snorting to himself, refusing to accept such a reality.

He was Malrik’s number one fanboy, after all, so such stubbornness was only natural.

Asher shook his head after hearing FatelessPen refer to Finch, William, Ryaen, and Vaelric as the Four Musketeers. He couldn’t help but smile, genuinely amused by the nickname.

With that, he decided to ask a question that had been lingering in his mind for quite some time.

"You said that Cindralis hired you to protect us, right?" he asked.

FatelessPen remained silent for a brief moment, wondering where exactly this question was leading.

"Yeah. Why do you ask?" he finally replied.

Asher nodded before speaking again, "I was just curious... how was an assassin able to get past you and come after me?" he asked, as the matter had continued to bother him ever since the incident, though he simply hadn’t had the time to ask about it.

"Ah!" FatelessPen exclaimed as understanding finally dawned on him. "Well, he didn’t get past me. I simply let him go because he was too weak. I noticed him the very moment he sneaked into the Gentle Hotel, killed one of the kitchen staff, and assumed his identity. If the assassin’s target had been another student, I would have interfered," he explained calmly.

"But since I knew about your rather busted ability, I simply left the matter to you. Of course, if you had actually fallen for the poison or the teleportation trick, I would have stepped in," he added with a casual shrug.

Although he had never revealed himself, he had watched the entire incident unfold in real time from beginning to end.

Asher finally understood as he slowly nodded in thought, ’so FatelessPen had been present all along,’

It seemed the man deliberately allowed students to deal with enemies they were capable of handling themselves while personally eliminating threats that exceeded their abilities.

With that matter settled, Asher decided to speak about the true reason he had called FatelessPen.

"I need your help with something," he said calmly as his purple eyes met FatelessPen’s crimson ones.

FatelessPen didn’t look surprised in the slightest as he replied, "obviously. You wouldn’t call me here just to chat."

Asher’s lips twitched slightly. He decided not to comment on that and instead went straight to the point.

"It’s like this. I want to train, but my room is too small, and the kind of training I intend to do would completely destroy it. So I wanted to know if you could create a training chamber for me, but not just any training chamber," he paused briefly before continuing,

"I want a Time Dilation Chamber."

He then proceeded to explain exactly what a Time Dilation Chamber was, just in case FatelessPen wasn’t familiar with the concept. FatelessPen didn’t know precisely what it was, so he made no attempt to interrupt Asher, quietly allowing him to explain every detail of the idea he had in mind while he simply listened in silence.
