CLEAVER OF SIN Chapter 1222: Bored

Asher released his control over gravity as gore, torn organs, and other body parts splattered against the bodies of the Frontier Soldiers whom he had just saved.
The Soldiers were stunned, their gazes moving around until they landed on Asher. They smiled at him as they remembered him healing them and rejuvenating their stamina. They hadn’t been affected by the intensified gravity, as Asher’s control had been impeccable, allowing him to distinguish between friend and foe without the slightest mistake.
But Asher didn’t stand around to bask in their grateful gazes. He simply moved, his figure appearing between two Soldiers. They were both stunned by his sudden appearance from the sky, but before either of them could speak, Asher placed his hands on their shoulders.
As he touched them, he instantly transferred his Astra Energy into their bodies, specifically into their Astra Veins, as he activated Virelass’s new ability.
The Soldiers’ eyes widened in pure shock, as this was the first time they had witnessed an ability like this. It was preposterous to them, but Asher didn’t care about their thoughts or expressions, as he was already gone.
He appeared in another direction and location, touching the shoulders of Soldiers each time. His movements were swift, as he didn’t spend more than a couple of seconds with each Soldier.
By simply touching their shoulders and intending to transfer Astra Energy, Asher could instinctively understand how much Astra Energy each Soldier needed. That way, he wouldn’t accidentally transfer too much and kill them in the process.
Despite transferring Astra Energy to almost sixty Soldiers, Asher’s Astra Energy reserves remained immense.
’I wonder if touching their shoulders without consent is a form of sexual harassment.’
Asher thought to himself as he appeared in the sky. He didn’t stay there for long, vanishing once more as he teleported to another location. There was simply no time to fly when he could cover such distances instantaneously.
Upon arriving at his new location, his Star Energy came alive once more, as he didn’t want to use his Astra Energy unnecessarily and needed to preserve as much as possible for transferring to the Soldiers.
Asher didn’t increase gravity and twist it as he had done previously. Instead, he seized control of the gravity surrounding the Velkarin Soldiers, then redirected it in various directions with effortless ease.
The Velkarin Empire Soldiers didn’t even know what hit them as their limbs began bending in the opposite directions. Their legs bent forward in grotesque angles, while their arms twisted from the elbow and shoulder joints until the bones shattered. The sounds of bones creaking and cracking under the strain of gravity were no different from music to Asher’s ears.
Screams echoed across the battlefield, but before the Velkarin Empire Soldiers could scream for long, Asher snapped his fingers, causing the gravity around their heads to complete a full rotation. Their heads and necks followed suit, and the force of the rotation, combined with the resistance of their flesh and bones against such unnatural movement, resulted in their deaths through decapitation.
Their heads separated from their mangled bodies, blood dripping onto the ground as their severed heads struck the earth like soccer balls and rolled away like random stones.
Before the Frontier Soldiers could even locate their savior, Asher moved once more with an indifferent expression. His touch filled everyone with Astra Energy, their Astra Veins surging with power. But he didn’t stop there. He healed their injuries with that same touch, rejuvenated their stamina once more, and then vanished before their very eyes.
Tens of kilometers away, Acker Holloway was floating in the air as he used his Bodhisattva Hands to bully his opponents out of existence.
While hovering in the air, he made a single downward palm motion, and with a boom, the one hundred Bodhisattva Hands slammed into the ground, crushing each Velkarin Soldier like a mere rock trapped in his palm.
He raised his hand once more, his Light Affinity coming alive under his control as he formed spheres of light and shot them outwards in various directions. The golden-yellow halo behind him amplified the destructive power of each sphere, their speed so tremendous that they left only yellow trails in their wake.
Acker didn’t originally possess the Light Affinity, but after acknowledging himself as the Priest and Healer of the Hero Party, he now possessed it.
After all, which Healer or Priest wasn’t blessed with the Light Affinity? Wouldn’t he be a fake Priest if he didn’t possess the Light Affinity?
Thus, once again, Acker Holloway’s Chunibyo ability demonstrated why it remained so ridiculously broken and stupidly overpowered.
Explosions erupted in various directions as the spheres of light detonated upon contact with their targets.
Various attacks streaked toward Acker from below, but he remained unshaken as the Bodhisattva Hands surrounding him moved, slamming into the incoming attacks and destroying those unleashed through various abilities before they could reach him.
As the explosions rang in his ears, Acker cried, tears pouring from his eyes as he felt pain in his heart from killing his fellow humans. His power should be used to protect the weak, slay monsters, and erase the sins of the world.
Yet, here he was, wiping out his fellow humans.
But even as he entertained those thoughts, he showed not the slightest shred of mercy despite the guilt he felt at that moment.
’Amitabha!’
Acker thought to himself as his finger rose toward the sky. The heavens immediately shone golden once more, the clouds twisting and parting as immense pillars of light poured down from above, slamming into the heads of various Velkarin Empire Soldiers scattered across the battlefield.
Gazing at the destruction he was causing, Acker closed his eyes for a moment, shielding himself from the stains of the world.
In another direction, Saitama was moving. At the moment he wore a new shirt, having stolen it from a fellow Soldier. Why should he care when he was moving too fast for the Soldiers to see his face or perceive anything at all?
Saitama simply flicked his index finger against the forehead of a Black Soldier, and with a boom, the woman’s entire upper torso was erased.
Her shadow twisted beneath her, transforming into sinister black tendrils that surged toward Saitama, attempting to lock him in place and drag him into his own shadow.
But Saitama simply raised his foot and slammed it into the ground with a bored expression. With a boom, the ground shattered, and the shadow spread across it was erased in tandem.
Saitama immediately spun on his feet, his fist meeting the rising shockwave generated by his stomp. As his fist struck the shockwave, it surged forward, tearing through the body of the man who manipulated shadows from a distance.
The sand beneath Saitama immediately shifted as it moved to swallow him, but Saitama was already gone, having leaped into the air. His body rotated through the air as he wore a bored expression before landing behind the man who had manipulated the sand and slapping the back of his head.
The man’s head exploded into brain matter and blood, his body falling forward with a thud.
Saitama was bored. The small smile of excitement he had worn earlier had disappeared. With his ridiculous physical prowess, he could only bully these Soldiers to death, regardless of their rank or abilities.
Swiftstar? A slap was enough.
Kindlestar? A flick of a finger was enough.
Blazestar? A casual wave of the hand was enough.
