CLEAVER OF SIN Chapter 1016: Nature’s Embrace [GT Ranking Bonus - ]

As Asher stared at the surroundings, he couldn’t help but speak, "it seems that ’Z’ was erased in totality as not even his corpse remained."
Arianna stared at the place she had once sealed ’Z’ as she replied, "it would have been weird if he survived that, as the arm I had cut off was the one that he wore his space ring on, as I didn’t want him suddenly using any artifact that would allow him to escape."
Asher nodded his head at Arianna’s words as that made perfect sense. If ’Z’ still had his space ring, who knew what he would have pulled out of his space ring at the last moment. Asher wasn’t one who loved it when his enemies escaped.
’Too bad I couldn’t use my marked daggers in this fight,’ Asher thought to himself with a calm sigh.
In battles, he loved pulling the Position Marker ability as a trump card to catch his enemies off guard, and if they adapted to it in the case his attacks failed, he would just create variations.
’I guess I get to use it in another battle,’ he thought to himself.
’It seems my stamina is already recovering at a fast rate,’ he thought to himself as he could feel his fatigue vanishing, the battle had lasted for over an hour.
Despite the speed of their movements and their high-paced attacks, battles didn’t last five minutes or ten. It was simply impossible, after all, people can’t possess such immense stamina, destructive force, and the vitality and tenacity of a cockroach and only fight for five minutes.
Asher raised his hand, his Star Energy control had risen tremendously after the battle with ’Z’, and it genuinely put a smile on his face. Truly, putting your life on the line was the surest and fastest way to improve. Although millions had died doing this, the results were undeniably apparent to him.
If the new Star Form couldn’t last for the duration of the battle, he might have long been captured by ’Z’. Although those guys probably don’t know how useless their efforts were, as even if they caught him, Virelass could just teleport him back to the Wargrave Estate or the Separate Dimension as she couldn’t be sealed, destroyed, or whatever.
The Star Energy in his hand flickered out, as he stopped staring at it.
Arianna, who was standing beside him, spoke, "can you remove this energy? It’s kind of invasive and is hindering my regeneration technique," her tone calm.
Asher’s eyes tore towards the stump on Arianna’s shoulder as he remembered she had gained this injury when she had locked both herself and ’Z’ in place. Asher didn’t bother apologizing or anything as it was just the scars of battle and nothing more.
He raised a hand and the Star Energy around Arianna’s shoulder flew towards him as though it had a mind of its own, then vanished completely into Asher’s hand as though it seeped through his skin pores. With that, Arianna’s Genesis Archive activated as her eyes glowed, her hand regenerated with ease as bones, muscles, fibres, and veins snapped together.
Asher stared at it as he spoke, "I honestly don’t know how you are able to copy a healing skill," he shook his head.
"It’s a healing technique, not a skill," she replied, not willing to go deeper into her answer as though she was too tired to go into details or explain.
Asher simply shrugged as he spoke, "we should hide from now, we don’t know how other’s battles are going, and with us being the weakest, we don’t want to become the weak spot and weak link," he suggested.
Arianna stayed silent for a moment then simply nodded.
It was the wisest thing to do. After all, none of them possessed such a sense that could perceive things beyond the five thousand kilometers around them. So, they could only hide and wait, after all, even from this distance they couldn’t feel the shockwave of destruction or earthquake, showing how far away everyone was.
The battlefield Asher had erased could now be seen as Light photons from the sunlight now filled it. Asher simply patted Arianna on the shoulder, and the next moment, ambient Astra energy in the air hummed around them as Asher employed the Astra camouflage skill he had copied from the little golem during the Inter-Empire tournament first round.
But before the skill could fully activate, space in the sky shook as though something was coming. Asher and Arianna’s eyes snapped towards the sky as they couldn’t help but frown, wondering if The Convergence had reinforcements.
Portals opened and the next moment, from these portals descended the Wargraves who had all been battling, their bodies plummeting from the sky as they landed upon Asher’s and Arianna’s battlefield like comets.
They had all been done with their battles.
Arianna and Asher couldn’t help but heave a sigh of relief, at least it wasn’t another enemy. They couldn’t help but be thankful to the stars.
Asher’s eyes stayed on his siblings, he saw that almost all of them had blood stained on their clothes with some of them having injuries of varying degrees on their bodies. It was clear that the Thresholds and Alphabets were no pushovers, as even the Elders were injured too.
People like Morthern, Azaron, Morgana, Damian, and Malrik stood without injuries, but one couldn’t say as they all possessed the ability to heal themselves. But Asher could make out the torn clothes on everybody’s body despite their perfect bodies.
Only Damian and Malrik seemed to be the only two who had come out of this entire battle uninjured as the rest were at least injured once. Even Azazel himself had also been injured.
Before anyone could speak or say anything, Great Elder Morthern acted first. His soul-bound book flapped continuously before it stopped at a page, his Astra energy humming with immense intensity as though he hadn’t just finished a battle with one of the higher Thresholds and still had enough Astra energy to go.
Everyone immediately felt a cool sensation grip their entire bodies as their bodies shone green as though Mother Nature was embracing them from behind.
Asher felt his stamina surge with immense intensity as he recovered within seconds, then the green cloaking energy vanished as though it was never there.
Asher and Arianna could only marvel at it as both of them had been exhausted. Arianna’s Genesis Archive ability immediately activated as her eyes shone as she began analyzing the skill. A skill that could help with stamina and heal at the same time was simply too rare, it was so rare she didn’t possess one in her Archives, she needed to add it to her collection.
But alas, Morthern’s skills weren’t exactly so easy to copy as the next moment her eyes began to bleed, pain flooding her eyes. Morthern turned to her, offering a smile as Nature’s Embrace embraced her once more, healing her eyes.
Every Wargrave and Azazel were instantly brought back to their peak. Injuries snapping shut, stamina rejuvenating. With that done, Morthern’s soul-bound book snapped shut as his Astra energy vanished.
"Sigh... no matter how many times I see you use your ability, I still can’t get used to it, Uncle Morthern," Frank Wargrave, the First Elder, spoke.
He touched his chest where an injury to his heart had been, and it had vanished. A smile touched his lips as he remembered his opponent that had managed to push him this far. He couldn’t help but look forward to meeting the man again, as the man had escaped as he, Frank, was about to kill him.
