Chrysalis Chapter 1868 - Requiem

Crinis grovels before her master, trying to explain why she created a clone of herself to bypass a previous order and infiltrate her master's nervous system. After a stern lecture, her master orders Crinis to remove the clone from her system. When Crinis reveals the clone cannot survive outside a host, her master relents, but orders the clone removed from her nervous system. Crinis then has a tantrum and is banished for three days, while her master reflects on the difficulties of managing an evolved pet.
