Checking in for 100,000 Years Chapter 367: Analyzing the Black Light, The Mirror Becomes Invalid
"Dragon Man God, I didn’t say anything! I don’t know how they found out..."
The Clan Leader knelt on the ground, frantically explaining.
His agitation aggravated his existing injuries, causing him to vomit blood again. He didn’t bother to wipe it off, hanging his head low, looking terrified.
"What a bunch of useless fools! How could such a confidential matter be known by outsiders!"
The Black God Statue snorted coldly, filled with rage.
As the Black God Statue looked at Ye Yun and the others, a cruel smirk suddenly appeared on its face.
Even without facial features, it was able to portray visible emotions.
However, this faceless visage felt disturbingly eerie.
"You’re very confident."
Ye Yun smiled faintly, seemingly unconcerned.
The Black God Statue’s gaze landed on the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon and Big Black Horse, a hint of fervent desire in its eyes.
As if thinking of something delightful, the Black God Statue burst into laughter.
As its laughter rippled out, layers of black light surged around it, cloaking its entire body and making it impossible to see clearly.
"Dragon Man God, these two Divine Dragons might hail from a secret realm on the Cangnan Continent," the Clan Leader suddenly lifted his head, exclaiming excitedly.
"Native Divine Dragons? Even better. If you can find another secret realm like the one on the Cangnan Continent, it will be a major credit to your Coffin Carrier Clan."
From within the black light, the arrogant voice of the Black God Statue emerged.
It laughed madly, its laughter echoing continuously. At this moment, the entire Moon Star seemed to tremble.
Ye Yun smiled faintly, waiting for the Black God Statue’s performance to officially begin.
"Master, that mirror is truly strange. You must be careful," the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon said quietly from the side, looking at the dense black light and inexplicably feeling a sense of powerlessness wash over him again.
"Don’t worry. I’ll test this black light from the mirror."
Ye Yun chuckled and stepped forward.
In an instant, he arrived in the void, roughly a hundred feet in front of the Black God Statue.
His body trembled slightly as he released a faint Divine Dragon’s Breath.
This was Divine Dragon’s Breath that Ye Yun had deliberately simulated using his Ancestral Dragon Bloodline.
Facing the mysterious Dragon Man God, he wanted to probe further.
"What? It turns out you’re also a Divine Dragon? Haha, that’s excellent! It seems the Cangnan Continent certainly has a secret realm inhabited by a group of Divine Dragons..."
The Black God Statue let out an excited laugh from amidst the dense black light. Its raised right arm began to rotate, and the Black Mirror in its hand shot a beam of black light toward Ye Yun.
This beam of black light, with a diameter of several dozen meters, looked extremely powerful, its presence eerie and terrifying.
Ye Yun stood still. Although he had gleaned some understanding of the Black Mirror from Big Black Horse’s memories, he still wanted to personally experience this beam of black light.
"Has this fellow been scared silly by the Dragon Man God? He isn’t even dodging," an Eternal Realm Coffin Carrier sneered.
"It’s not that he can’t dodge; he’s unable to! The Dragon Man God’s cultivation base has probably already reached the High Order of the True God Realm. How could a mere Eternal Realm cultivator evade that?" a white-robed elder sneered.
In the hearts of the Coffin Carrier Clan members, the Dragon Man God was like their creator god, holding the highest status and authority.
Hearing the Coffin Carriers’ discussion, Big Black Horse and the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon exchanged glances, their eyes filled with contempt and mockery.
WHOOSH!
The pillar of black light descended, completely enveloping Ye Yun.
Ye Yun remained unfazed as he experienced the power within this black light.
It was an extremely strange power, one he had never encountered before.
Once this power invaded his body, it would exert tremendous suppression on his Dragon God Bloodline.
Once suppressed, his physical strength and mana could no longer be utilized.
It had to be said that this Black Mirror was indeed a terrifyingly lethal weapon against Divine Dragons.
Ye Yun sneered inwardly.
The Ancestral Dragon Bloodline within Ye Yun’s body stirred slightly.
BOOM!
The power of the black light shattered and instantly disappeared without a trace.
"Do you have any other tricks?"
Ye Yun strolled leisurely through the void, completely ignoring the radiance of the massive pillar of black light.
His white robes, crystalline as snow, were exceptionally conspicuous within the pillar of black light.
Gazing at that imposing, unparalleled, godlike figure, both Big Black Horse and the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon were momentarily stunned.
The Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon was overjoyed and almost blurted this out.
However, he managed to stop himself in time.
Seeing the light prove ineffective, the Black God Statue sneered.
This Black Mirror was specifically designed to counter Divine Dragons; it had no restraining effect on ordinary Human cultivators.
"Coffin, come!"
The Black God Statue roared. From its palm, where it had been forming Hand Seals, a black light suddenly flew out.
The black light landed in mid-air and immediately transformed into a pitch-black coffin.
This coffin looked exactly like a Covert Dragon Coffin. Its surface was covered with various intricate patterns, and its four sides even bore images of Divine Dragons.
The life-bound black coffins of the Eternal Realm Coffin Carriers seen earlier were vastly different compared to this Covert Dragon Coffin.
"Is this the true Covert Dragon Coffin?" Ye Yun lightly examined the black coffin and chuckled.
"You little whelp, you certainly know a lot!" the Black God Statue said through gritted teeth.
With a point of its hand, the black coffin shot forward, rushing towards Ye Yun.
Ye Yun smiled.
Watching the black coffin descend from the sky, Ye Yun had no intention of revealing the formidable nature of his Ancestral Dragon’s Body.
He fumbled at his wrist for a moment and gently drew out an Octagonal Bright Silver Hammer.
The palm-sized Octagonal Bright Silver Hammer expanded in the wind with a mere shake, immediately growing to three or four feet in size. The octagonal hammerhead was covered with mysterious patterns and flowed with a silver gleam.
"Master, you even have such a treasure?" the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon exclaimed in shock.
He gazed at the silver Octagonal Bright Silver Hammer from afar. Feeling its astonishing aura, an extremely covetous expression appeared on his face.
