Disciples of the Black Demon Palace guarded a spiritual Qi spring, but numerous other organizations, including the Immortal Sect of Divine Arrows and the Immortal Sect of Taibai, gathered to seize it. The Black Demon Palace's scattered forces, led by He Tian, were in poor condition and regrouped with Ye Kai.
