Celestial Bloodline Chapter 1012: Peace II
Previously on Celestial Bloodline...
Amon blinked before nodding, finally understanding why Yue wasn’t around.
As Kyle flew toward a distant, massive floating land covered by a transparent barrier, Amon couldn’t help but ask.
"Where are we going?"
Kyle glanced back at him with a smile.
"Home."
Amon paused for a moment.
The single word felt strangely warm.
But when he finally saw the place Kyle was referring to, he couldn’t help but admit that his father was far too casual and modest.
Inside the transparent barrier, atop the vast floating territory, stood a magnificent castle with towering spires crafted from massive natural crystals. The land around the castle was surrounded by countless ice flowers of every color and ethereal trees bearing fruits brimming with the power of Natural Laws.
Each one was so precious that Amon was certain even the strongest Celestials would be willing to risk their lives to obtain them.
Calling such a place home felt almost ridiculous. It was more like an enormous treasure vault disguised as a residence.
Looking around in a dazed state, Amon spotted his mother sitting cross-legged atop the highest spire of the castle.
He was stunned by the immense power surrounding her. Unable to tell her current strength at all, he turned toward Kyle.
"What stage of Celestial Rank is Mother breaking through to?"
Kyle’s answer was as casual as ever.
"The 5th Stage."
"Already?!"
Amon’s eyes widened. But as he looked around at the majestic place Kyle called ’home’, his mind could only think, ’Figures’.
With an environment where the power of nature was as vast as a huge ocean and flowed as freely as water, even someone with mediocre talent could probably reach the pinnacle, let alone his mother. She was currently surrounded by countless Natural Laws, constantly guiding and helping her.
Amon could only smile wryly.
Kyle then led him toward the castle and stopped at one of its many entrances.
"Walk around and take any room you want. Just don’t disturb your mother for now."
Amon nodded, thinking it seemed that, in this massive place, only the three of them were present. As he entered the castle, he glanced back and saw Kyle walking toward the flower garden. Kyle settled into a chair beside a quiet pond, leisurely watching the distant silent void. Every so often, however, his calm green eyes would drift toward Yue, silently keeping an eye on her breakthrough.
Amon muttered under his breath.
"Well, this isn’t bad either."
He wandered through the massive castle, passing through many rooms and majestic halls. Yet, with every new room he entered, his astonishment only grew. The furniture and beautiful decorations were all crafted from precious natural treasures, while even the floors and walls were made of gold and jade. Amon sighed softly for the tenth time as he finally selected a room for himself.
He then walked back outside the castle.
Seeing his father still sitting peacefully beside the pond, Amon pulled a chair from his mind space and sat down beside him.
Touching an ice flower nearby, he cleared his throat and asked the question he had been meaning to ask for a while.
"Is father’s strongest power still ice?"
Kyle rested his chin on his hand.
"No. I’m just used to it now. Even my body temperature can remain normal if I want it to. But some things have become so deeply ingrained in me that changing them would feel unnatural. Besides..."
He glanced at the ice flowers, his gaze lingering on their crystalline petals.
"...it’s linked to the very natural power that started my journey—the Celestial Bloodline. So, even if I have many other powers now, I suppose I’ll always carry a connection to it."
Amon fell silent. He didn’t possess the icy power Kyle had. The natural power he had been born with was completely different—fiery, hot, just like magma. Thinking for a moment, Amon asked another question.
"Leon and Caria are going to learn what they wanted to learn. What about me?"
Kyle glanced back at him with a smile.
"Amon, you have yet to tell me what you want to learn from me."
Amon scratched his cheek. Indeed, unlike Leon and Caria, he had never proactively asked his father to train him in anything.
"Then... can I learn arrays like Leon?"
"You can."
"What about the sword?"
"You can."
"Will I train together with Leon and Caria?"
Kyle leaned back slightly.
"No. This time, all three of you will train separately."
Once again, Amon fell silent. The two sat together in silence for a long while until Yue finally opened her eyes with a smile. The power around her body finally dissipated.
She stood up and looked around, her eyes lighting up when she spotted Kyle. At first, she wanted to rush over and embrace him in her excitement. But when she saw Amon beside him, she went to her son first, pulling him closer and affectionately rubbing his head as she checked him from head to toe.
After sensing how solid his physique had become, satisfaction flickered in her gaze.
Kyle watched the two from the side, feeling neglected. He could only let out a low sigh.
At that moment, suddenly, a loud sound reverberated from outside the territory.
Yue and Amon simultaneously raised their heads, only to be stunned by what they saw.
A wisp of extremely pure Natural Energy, filled with Laws, was knocking against the barrier surrounding the territory, as though desperately trying to get their attention.
Both of them turned toward Kyle.
Kyle merely glanced at it before looking away. He had already sensed it long ago.
It was Nature that had fallen into slumber when Kyle’s awareness ascended, thinking he had died. It had only just woken up and had apparently come straight to greet him.
It seemed that it couldn’t enter the barrier Kyle had created with its power, so it had knocked loudly on it to get his attention.
Yet Kyle showed no reaction whatsoever. His next words almost made it want to cry.
"Ignore it. It’s just a part of Nature in this realm that has gained consciousness. It’s not that powerful or carries much weight."
