Celestial Bloodline Chapter 1009: What about you?
Previously on Celestial Bloodline...
Hearing Ares’s outburst, Kyle didn’t even flinch. Not a trace of remorse crossed his face as he merely let out a faint sound.
"Oh."
Clan Leader Ares was so furious that he wanted nothing more than to challenge Kyle to a battle. But knowing the massive, overwhelming difference in their strength, he could only swallow his anger and glare at him resentfully.
Jian, Alec, and everyone else around couldn’t help but laugh at the scene.
Seeing the usually imposing Clan Leader like this, his face flushed red with barely contained anger, was simply too amusing.
It had been more than a month since they had arrived in the Celestial Realm, and by now, they were already familiar with the realm, its rules, and the various forces and clans that governed it. They had also seen firsthand just how much the balance of power had changed since Kyle’s return.
And yet, despite everything they had learned, one thing remained unchanged.
Whenever Kyle appeared, chaos seemed to follow.
At this moment, Amon moved forward to hug his mother. For some reason, he didn’t approach his father. The man seemed too distant, almost impossible to get close to.
Still, Amon swore in his heart that, unlike everyone who had resigned themselves to never surpassing Kyle in their life, one day he would become stronger than his father.
He was determined to one day make this thought of his an undeniable reality! Hmph!
But just as he wrapped his arms around Yue, Kyle grabbed him by the collar. Amon blinked in surprise and looked back, only to meet his father’s faint, amused smile. Kyle quickly pulled him back and released him.
"You’re already old enough now. Why are you still being so clingy?"
Amon immediately rolled his eyes.
Who was the one who had told him he was still young back then? And now, look at him!
Still, seeing his mother laughing behind him, Amon didn’t dare argue. He merely clicked his tongue in annoyance, silently accepting his father’s shamelessness.
This man always looked expressionless, almost cold enough to freeze the air. Yet apparently, all that vanished the moment his own son got too close to his wife.
At that moment, Leon finally gathered the courage to step forward and approach Kyle.
"Uncle Kyle, if you’re free, could you teach me? I want to become a powerful Array Master renowned throughout the realm! And Dad told me you’re the best at arrays!"
He looked at Kyle nervously, waiting for his answer. Hearing the admiration in his son’s voice, Alec’s eyebrow twitched, but he didn’t mind. After all, Kyle was truly someone who could be called the best in the art of arrays.
Jian, who had caused such a commotion and called Kyle and Yue here, slung an arm around Kyle’s shoulder and chuckled softly.
"This boy wants to learn from you now? Tsk! In the past, it was always, ’Uncle Jian, teach me this!’ and ’Uncle Jian, teach me that!’ all because I gave the best rewards if they did their training properly. Now, look at how quickly he’s forgotten about me!"
Asher, Sinon, and Regius agreed with him from the side, laughing. They all knew Jian had been very rich back in their universe. It was just that, in the Celestial Realm, those treasures were completely useless.
Leon shot the four of them pointed looks, but that only made them laugh even harder.
Such a cute little cub.
Caria, who had been standing with Bia and Nox, also stepped forward and joined Leon.
"Uncle Kyle, I want to learn from you too. But I want to master the art of the sword."
Her words silenced everyone for a brief moment, surprise flickering in their eyes.
After all, she had never shown any interest in wielding a sword. The only weapon she had ever seriously used was a bow, while Mia had mostly focused on teaching her powerful spells and techniques. Yet now, she wanted to learn the sword from Kyle.
Carcel was the most surprised of all.
He remembered asking his daughter a few times whether she wanted to learn to use the same weapon as him or perhaps study the sword under Alec’s guidance. At the time, she had refused without hesitation.
Yet now, Caria had taken the initiative to ask Kyle herself.
Carcel could only sigh inwardly as he looked at Kyle. It seemed they all really shouldn’t have told the children so many stories about Kyle’s incredible feats.
Those stories had clearly given the little ones too much admiration for him. Still, Carcel couldn’t exactly complain. If Caria truly wanted to learn the sword, there was hardly anyone better than Kyle right now.
Kyle looked at the two children, his gaze eventually drifting toward Amon.
"What about you?"
Amon clearly hesitated. He had already decided to roam the Celestial Realm and grow stronger through his own efforts.
That had been his plan.
However, seeing his friends ask his father to teach them without even discussing it with him left him feeling a little aggrieved.
Still, after quietly considering how much they could learn under Kyle’s teaching, he ultimately gritted his teeth and nodded.
"I want to join."
Kyle’s lips curved slightly as he glanced at the three children.
"Good. We’ll start tomorrow. For today, go and prepare whatever you need. Once we begin, I won’t be going easy on any of you."
Leon was so excited that the title he had given Kyle in his head unconsciously burst out before he could even think.
"Okay, Master!"
Before anyone could recover from his sudden declaration, he excitedly grabbed Amon and Caria and dragged them away, his eyes already shining with anticipation.
At that exact moment, another figure who had gained quite a reputation throughout the Celestial Realm over the past month appeared and stopped before Kyle. It was Cassian—the second person after Kyle to possess a complete Celestial Symbol.
The moment Cassian heard that Kyle had appeared, he had rushed out of the Golden Hall of Light to meet him. Cassian had far too many questions he wanted to ask him, his breathing a bit hurried as he called out.
"Kyle?"
Kyle raised his gaze and glanced at the crimson-eyed man, raising an eyebrow.
"Shouldn’t you be overseeing the Bridge of Divinity to make sure nothing goes wrong with the newly ascending Celestials?"
Cassian blinked before letting out a chuckle.
"I should have known. You already knew that I would take on this responsibility."
He shook his head before continuing.
"Anyway, I want to ask you something important. It’s fine if you don’t want to answer. I just want to ask."
