It was truly fascinating. The science and spiritual principles behind all of this had become something Elayne understood more deeply with every new creation. She had grown rather proficient at weaving life, death, and fungal essence together to shape these unique beings.
"You will become my third named Sporeborn," she spoke with quiet authority. "Your name will be Trickster."
Trickster rose slowly to his full height. The power of being named echoed through every part of his body, pulsing with a potent combination of new spiritual energy and dense nether force. A spiritual nether heart core crystallized inside his chest, just as it had for the other two named Sporeborns — Lady and Wendigo.
Lady and Wendigo had come as well. They watched from a short distance at first, but the moment they sensed a new member joining their group they drew closer and offered him a silent greeting of acceptance.
Elayne, meanwhile, felt a portion of Trickster’s power flow directly into her soul. The connection allowed her to inherit a share of his strength as her own.

Elayne gazed at the Skill Options in silence for a brief moment. She felt it was a little unfair that she could gain powerful skills so easily through this method, but... well, it did not matter in the end. She required every scrap of strength she could obtain — anything that would help her fight against those who would eventually oppose her.
"Demonic Presence... Chaos Magic again... Illusion Magic... and Trickster’s Trick?" she thought carefully.
The one that drew her attention most strongly was Chaos Magic, of course. However, its destructive and nearly uncontrollable nature seemed rather intimidating, especially if it would require massive quantities of Mana to use properly.
The next option was Illusion Magic, the ability to create faint illusions capable of fooling enemies. That one might prove the most useful during their long conquest of the Netherworld, where they would constantly be persecuted by countless hostile forces.
Trickster’s Trick appeared to trigger some kind of random "trick" whenever it was used. She had no idea whether it was safe or reliable, so she decided to ignore it for now.
Demonic Presence intimidated foes and strengthened the user based on the fear inflicted upon others. She thought it was a solid choice, though not the most exciting.
Then there was the Skill she had ignored twice before — Reinforced Fungal Colony Body. It had felt somewhat redundant when she was still an Abyssal Myconid.
But now? It seemed it might actually be useful. She had evolved into a Vampiric Treant-like form and had lost her original mushroom body. With this skill she could potentially fuse both fungal and plant aspects together once more.
The description clearly stated it would reinforce her physical form, and her current body was still rather delicate in certain ways...
"Huh, am I really considering this over Chaos Magic?" she sighed quietly to herself.
[You have inherited the skill from your Bonded Named Sporeborn: [Chaos Magic – Tier 5: Level 1/50]!]
-----
[Chaos Magic – Tier 5: Level 1/50]
A Power obtained through the fusion of several dark magics that manipulate the elements and space itself.
By spending Mana alone, it is possible to create Chaos Particles by compressing all elemental particles into a single point.
This Chaos Particle is a destructive anti-matter magic that will destroy any matter it touches and expand according to the destruction it causes.
Deals massive damage to everything within its surroundings. Hard to master and control. Mana cost increases the more it is molded and shaped. Chaos is an elusive element that should never be touched by mortal hands.

[You have unlocked the Stat: [Magia Arcana]: Calculates and increases the control, manipulation, creation, and damage of Magic. Specifically, pure Mana-based Magic. Higher stat also increases maximum Mana Pool. Allows the user to connect to the Magia Arcana Network of Magic, the Weave.]
[Magia Arcana]: [+100,000]
The moment Elayne fully learned the Magic Skill, her senses heightened dramatically. The world around her seemed to warp and become strangely fluid. Distant figures extended and stretched, and suddenly new forms appeared one after another in her vision.
She saw, in the far reaches of reality, someone walking across a mist of deep blue color. That figure touched the mist and fired a fireball directly toward her, yet she felt nothing when it passed through her.
Then she saw countless other figures walking and crawling along the edges of reality. A sudden glimpse of shifting colors expanded through her right field of view, reaching her and embracing her completely. Wind, fire, thunder, shadow, and light all struck her at once, yet none of them caused her any harm.
The world continued to warp as magic itself slowly revealed its deeper truth to Elayne. What the System regulated as simple "MP" and "Magic" stats were nothing more than a surface-level protection against something far more uncontrollable, far wilder, and far less predictable.
The Weave itself opened before her eyes. It was a vast latticework of loose, shifting shape that expanded toward every corner of the observable reality. Even within the deepest layers of the Netherworld it remained present, though in a much wilder and more savage form. Still, it was not out of her reach.
