Sailor saw Norman rapidly floating toward him, every single piece of his bones assembling around his body just as the Hollow charged, its mouth wide open and ready to feast on them both.

But a massive explosion of gold and azure energy erupted before the monster could reach Sailor, sending it flying backward. The Hollow crashed into a large tower and collapsed it upon itself.

However, it was a hardy creature. It instantly stood back up, glaring with anger at what had happened, but then a smile grew on its lips.

Its plaything was not done yet!

Its eyes saw a figure emerging from within the smoke.

It was Sailor and Norman as one.

They had become one, united by their comradeship, Norman assembling his own bones and fusing them over Sailor.

Sailor, who was severely damaged on the spine and missing both arms, regained his strength and much more.

"Norman...! What the hell did you do?!" he asked, shocked.

Sailor looked at his body. He was now covered in heavy white and black colored bone armor, complete with a helmet and everything.

Norman’s shattered core had been crystallized into a sphere set in the chest plate, infusing Sailor with his remaining strength.

"I am not completely sure myself. I just tried to become your armor..." Norman muttered. "I could not move, so at least I thought you should wear me as armor... that is all...! I am as shocked as you are...!"

"Hah..." Sailor felt shocked beyond belief, but there were greater dangers and threats right now for him to worry about.

The Hollow reached them in an instant, its laughter echoing loudly as the creature descended with fury. It unleashed Sailor’s techniques, now empowered and darkened with its own powers, releasing dozens of explosions.

Giant tentacles made of death energy surged forward, striking Sailor and Norman constantly. Then massive jellyfish stingers, black and abyssal, released red electric shocks. Two massive hammerhead sharks made of darkness roared and struck at them from left and right.

And yet both combined their power, resisting the attacks while absorbing the dark energies as fresh strength. The armor began to load with new power, fusing deeper with Sailor.

Norman’s abilities melded with Sailor seamlessly. An aura of yellow and azure color, phantasmal and spiritual, manifested around them.

Instead of complaining, Sailor rolled with the punches and embraced this new power, fighting back with everything he had.

A gigantic golden anchor manifested as he moved his fists forward.

The bizarre Hollow vomited black blood as the anchor struck its entire body, crushing it into the ground and then punching it away with immense force.

The monster crashed into a house and collapsed. Smoke filled the air along with golden fire forged from the Soul Liberation Spell and Norman and Sailor’s combined skills.

But then it quickly got back up.

Sailor clicked his tongue, his eyes gleaming bright blue.

"Of course it will not go down so easily. But that technique... Norman, I think our skills combined."

"I believe so... I am not the best at fighting... but you are, Sailor. Please use my power...! We have to survive and get out of here!"

"Well said! We either kill this thing or escape, but I feel like even escaping might not do."

"It is coming!"

"?!"

The Hollow took a step forward and seemed to teleport. In a single moment it appeared right in front of Sailor, its hands moving rapidly.

A giant bear paw manifested above the two. Sailor’s eyes widened.

"Fuck!"

A massive explosion of black flames erupted. The accumulated damage the Hollow had sustained was released back at them, sending both Sailor and Norman flying away.

However, Norman as armor was much tougher. He rapidly recovered from the cracks and quickly helped Sailor stand up again.

"Damn bastard. He can copy our powers even now!"

"...We have to be careful. Use your normal attacks. I will enhance them."

"You got it! Ah, it is here already?!"

The Hollow once more moved at a terrifying speed, reaching Sailor and Norman and pummeling them with dozens of rapid strikes.

Tentacles and jellyfish stingers were followed by shark jaws, sea serpent venomous fangs, and more.

Sailor swiftly avoided and parried the blows with his armored skeleton arms, slashing deep gashes into the Hollow’s large wound and weakening it rapidly.

But it laughed, spreading its wings and then grabbing Sailor, flying higher and higher.

"What?!"

Then it descended at lightning speed.

"You have to be kidding meeeeee!"

The Hollow flew down at lightning speed, descending with immense force and smashing both itself and Sailor into the hard stone below.

A massive explosion surged amid the shockwave. Entire houses were flattened and disappeared under the incredible impact.

The Hollow emerged from the smoke, coughing more blood. Its eyes widened as it felt Sailor and Norman behind it.

The armor was cracked. They were missing an arm too. They had taken a lot of damage.

But this golden power within them combined with Sailor’s sea aura.

And a giant spirit resembling a leviathan manifested, absorbing all the accumulated damage to summon it.

Sailor stepped forward. The Hollow tried to retreat a step back.

But it was too late.

The gigantic Leviathan, a massive world-eating serpent of incredible size with shimmering gold-azure scales and a dignified dragon-like head, roared. Its eyes glowed brightly.

The Leviathan Spirit roared as Sailor’s fist moved forward faster than the Hollow could react. A titanic pair of maws snapped at it as a massive explosion of azure and golden energy erupted.

The Hollow’s smile disappeared as it screamed in horror. Its entire being was swallowed by an endless maelstrom that crushed its body under immense ocean pressure.

The entire battlefield trembled as the Hollow’s whole body had its water drained away and quickly dried like a raisin, exploding into black dust. Its bones and core barely held on.

But then the massive explosion came.

Its skeletal frame was blown apart, pieces scattering everywhere as Sailor and Norman’s combined attack left a massive hole across dozens of buildings, three towers, and a mountain.

Sailor smiled pridefully, seeing the lower torso of the Hollow, the only thing remaining, drop lifelessly onto the floor.

His eyes rolled as Sailor dropped onto the floor, almost completely passed out.

Silence came.

Norman sighed in relief, seeing that Sailor had survived. It was all worth it.
