Blank explained the nature of the mutated Hollow, a creature born from negative emotions that had undergone rapid, artificial evolution by consuming powerful souls. The Hollow attacked Granny Yaga, but Blank intervened, protecting her. The Hollow revealed its true, monstrous form and engaged Blank in a fierce battle, both combatants sustaining severe injuries before Blank unleashed a powerful technique that warped reality around them.

In that very instant, both the beast and Blank vanished from sight. Granny Yaga gasped sharply as an enormous barrier erupted around them, warping the very fabric of space and rewriting reality within its limited domain. The air itself trembled as the powerful technique took hold, isolating its targets in a pristine white void.

"I-Impossible!" Granny Yaga’s eyes widened in shock. "That creature actually pushed a Noble among Nobles that far?! It can’t be..."

The title "Noble among Nobles" was far more than mere arrogant boasting on Blank’s part. It carried deep significance within their society. These were exceptionally gifted and powerful members of an already Noble Race, individuals who held the highest positions and commanded immense respect. Blank, his sister, and their father all belonged to this elite echelon. Their strength far surpassed even the strongest soldiers of their race, thanks to centuries of dedicated training, abundant resources, and extraordinary natural talent.

"Wasn’t Blank Tier 5? Or maybe Tier 6? I can’t quite remember..." Granny Yaga muttered through clenched teeth. "But he’s definitely among the higher tiers of power in the Netherworld, at least within the upper boundary. He’s still in the early stages of that level, yet look at him now..."

She shook her head in frustration. "Damn it. Seeing these young ones being so ridiculously strong really leaves me feeling bitter. It almost makes me want to put in some real effort myself, huh?"

The old lady’s sharp gaze shifted toward the Hollow Aberrations that were now stepping out from the surrounding buildings and streets. They glared at her with wide, malicious grins stretched across their white mask-like faces, revealing rows of sharp, gleaming teeth. Deadly, evil energy radiated from their bodies, thick and oppressive.

"Elayne taught me several spells specifically for dealing with powerful evil undead..." Granny Yaga clicked her tongue, summoning her ancient grimoire. "I guess until she finds me, I’ll have to handle you lot on my own! So be it! I used to be quite the strong beauty back in my prime—all the boys wanted a piece of me! I’ll show you that I’m not as rusty as I look!"

Despite her naturally cowardly personality, being cornered had ignited a spark of defiance. Granny Yaga put on a brave face and unfurled her grimoire with dramatic flair. She waved her hand gracefully, and hundreds, then thousands, of goblin ghost spirits poured endlessly into existence around her.

"These are the souls of my kind!" she declared proudly. "As the sole inheritor of the Blue Ghostly Goblin Venerable’s Grimoire, I possess his ancient magic, the ability to channel and summon the weak souls of our numerous ancestors!"

The Hollow Aberrations burst into mocking laughter as their massive claws came crashing down toward her. They seemed intelligent enough to understand her words, which only fueled their cruel amusement.

However, Granny Yaga had already vanished from her original position. The goblin ghosts took her place, sacrificing themselves and dissipating into ethereal mist to shield her. It was as if they served as perfect living substitutes.

"There’s a good reason why an old lady like me has lived this long!" she smiled confidently, her aura surging with renewed vigor. She reappeared floating high above the monsters, looking down at them with a cocky grin.

Her grimoire pulsed with the ancient arcane magic inherited from the Blue Ghostly Goblin Venerable. As the owner of one of his four Legendary Artifacts, Granny Yaga could call forth a small yet potent fragment of the Goblin God’s power.

"In the Netherworld, there exist noble races and undead who have risen to such heights of power that we call them Esteemed Venerables!" she proclaimed, her voice growing stronger as thousands of goblin ghosts merged together. They formed a pair of gigantic, glowing blue ghostly hands that hovered menacingly in the air. "The Ancient Blue Ghostly Goblin Venerable is our greatest ancestor and the pride of our kind—the only one among our once-weak race who managed to rise to the same level as the great gods of other races. His cultivation techniques, bloodline, and artifacts were all created to strengthen and empower us, giving our people a real fighting chance against monsters like you!"

The giant hands moved with thunderous force.

Instead of one hand, there were now two. The massive spectral palms slapped the three aberrations away with devastating impact, sending them crashing violently through multiple buildings in a shower of debris and dust. The attack was powerful, yet the creatures quickly rose again, seemingly unfazed.

"Your durability is truly commendable..." Granny Yaga sighed, shaking her head. "Ugh, unless I’m some kind of monster whose attacks can erase matter like Blank, I’ll have to think more carefully about how to handle you thugs!"

The pages of her grimoire flickered once more. The two Hands of the Goblin God suddenly manifested a pair of giant spears made of condensed ghostly blue energy, brandishing them threateningly.

"Last time these hurt you guys but not enough. Let’s see how this upgraded version fares!"

As the three aberrations stood back up and grew serious, they charged toward her on all fours like feral beasts. Their jaws opened wide, gathering negative and dark energies before firing powerful death beams straight at her.

"Tsk! It’s now or never!"

Granny Yaga channeled the special spells Elayne had taught her directly into the spears—specifically Soul Release, a technique capable of unsealing trapped souls and weakening undead that relied on consuming or sealing souls for power.

Both spears tore through the incoming death beams, generating massive explosions mid-air. They continued onward and pierced through two of the aberrations’ heads and chests, triggering even larger detonations. The souls trapped within their bodies began rapidly escaping, leaving the damaged parts unable to regenerate.

The third aberration, however, managed to leap aside at the last moment. It closed the distance in an instant, its razor-sharp claws catching Granny Yaga as she let out a horrified scream.

The aberration laughed maniacally as it crushed her tiny body—only for it to dissolve into blue ghostly energy that scattered harmlessly into the air. Its eyes widened in confusion as it looked behind itself, finding the real Granny Yaga floating there with a cocky smile, arms crossed confidently over her chest.

"Hehehehe! I haven’t been slacking off during all that time I spent away, you know!" she boasted. "I’ve been cultivating like crazy myself! I finally mastered this damned, elusive spell I could never quite get before. Elayne’s Spiritual Energy Arts and Cultivation Methods are truly the best, especially that Nature Soul technique!"

Granny Yaga had inherited an incredible grimoire, and in her younger years, she had been known as a genius beauty. However, her talent had not been quite enough to carry her to the absolute pinnacle. She had remained stagnant for a long time, living a long life but never truly soaring to new heights, until now.
