[The Fragmented Divine Spirit, Nether Forge Incarnation: Ignis – Tier 2: Level 1 has been unsealed and contracted to your Soul.]
[New Passive Skill Acquired: Nether Forging Insight – Tier 1: Level 1/10]
[Your Spirit Weapon Forging Art has ranked up to Tier 2: Rank 3!]
[Your Spiritual Soul Weapon Art has ranked up to Tier 2: Rank 3!]
[Soul Fortitude +15,000]
[Spirit Power +80,000]
[Cursed Energy +20,000]
"Oh wow, this is great!" Elayne murmured. She clenched her fists as a surge of fresh power flooded through her body. The burning sensation from her upgraded Sun Pagoda trait felt far more manageable now. Ignis’s presence seemed to stabilize the conflicting energies swirling inside her. For a brief moment, she even wondered whether feeding the divine sunlight to Ignis might help him grow stronger as well.
Irene, still in her spiritual shovel form, hovered beside her. "Looks like the workshop is back in business, Mistress. We can finally craft something far better than that old bone hoe you’ve been keeping around!"
"Hey!" Bianca protested faintly from within Elayne’s soul, her voice carrying clear indignation.
The two spirits soon emerged and clashed against each other. Shovel and hoe unleashed constant shockwaves of spiritual energy and nether, creating a small chaotic scene in the process.
"S-Stop fighting!" Elayne cried out. "Don’t fight! You’re both part of the same family!"
Gardenia stretched lazily, though her plant-like body looked noticeably revitalized after the large breakfast and the rich ambient spiritual energy around them. "With Ignis here, your forging speed and quality will skyrocket. But don’t get too excited yet. You still have one major thing left on the list."
"Right. The Inventory," Elayne replied, determination burning brightly in her eyes. "Gardenia, let’s do it. I’m tired of carrying everything manually or throwing things into the Domain. I also want to see if I can retrieve the items I stored before. When I spoke with my other self, we managed to exchange things. If I can access the inventory, retrieve the potential cubes, and give them to her, she might use them on the Virtual Headsets. That could awaken the power to return to Arcadia through BNLO or something similar..."
"Oh wow, I never thought of that myself. You’re right!" Mark exclaimed. "Damn it, I can’t believe we never stopped to consider that once. We were way too confident in what we were doing, huh? It was foolish not to try it earlier..."
"Well, what’s done is done. There is no point in getting depressed about it now," Gardenia said calmly. "We move forward, Elayne. That’s what we decided, right?"
"Yeah," Elayne nodded firmly.
"Alright then!" Gardenia grinned, her mushroom spores glowing with vibrant energy. "This one is special. Although the abilities you had before were stable, once you obtain them again through this method, they might mutate. So expect the unexpected."
Elayne nodded in understanding. Mark, Ignias, Irene, and the other spirits gathered protectively around her as Gardenia channeled a massive surge of divine spiritual power into Elayne’s soul bubble, forcibly awakening and reshaping the dormant ability.
The cost was immense. Elayne felt nearly half a million reserves vanish in an instant, but the payoff came immediately.
[You have exchanged 500,000 Spiritual Energy Reserves.]
[Unique Ability: Inventory Transfer has been fully unsealed and evolved into the Soul Trait: Dimensional Soul Inventory Realm – Tier 2!]
[You can now access a personal dimensional storage space within your Soul Realm. Current capacity: Vast. Growth based on Soul Fortitude and Spiritual Energy. The Dimension of your Inventory has been seamlessly merged with your Soul.]
[Additional Functions Unlocked: Soul Item Materialization / Living Entity Storage (Limited) / Automatic Soul Preservation]
"It evolved into a Soul Trait?! Now that’s new!" Elayne exclaimed with wide-eyed excitement.
A new window appeared clearly in her mind, showing the Inventory interface. It felt completely intuitive, almost like a natural extension of her own body. She tested it right away by storing and retrieving the Ancient Bone Beast Blade: Asteria, a handful of spirit crystals, and even a small sample of nether soil. Everything moved smoothly and effortlessly.
"This... this changes everything," she breathed, her voice filled with awe. "We can carry an entire workshop with us now. Materials, forged items, even captured spirits or beasts if we are careful."
Mark crossed his arms while Ignias’s flaming form flickered approvingly beside him. "Finally. Are you going to check what’s inside now? Besides the new abilities, how does it feel?"
"Ah, yeah, one thing at a time please," Elayne sighed, though a bright smile remained on her face. "I can feel that something big has appeared inside my soul and merged with it. My soul feels even more compact and somehow more real at the same time. It’s weird, I know. But that’s exactly how it feels right now."
"I see. Anything else?" Mark asked curiously.
"Hmm, now let me see," Elayne replied. She expanded a large black portal and reached her hand inside. Just like before, she could sense the items clearly, and a detailed list soon appeared before her eyes. "Ah! T-They’re here! All of them?!"
"Really?!" Mark asked, visibly shocked. "The legendary armor and weapons... they’re really there? And the materials too? The potions? Skill books?"
"Yeah, everything is in here!" Elayne confirmed excitedly. "Let’s test..."
She tried to retrieve her Valkyrie Armor and her Yggdragon Staff, but a message appeared.
[Insufficient Level and Power detected.]
[You are unable to retrieve Equipment stronger than you.]
[Required Level for Unlock: Level 500+]
"Ah... I can’t. Yeah, I guessed as much," Elayne sighed, her shoulders dropping slightly in disappointment.
"Bummer," Mark said. "Well, it’s not the end of the world. What does it say exactly?"
"I need to get stronger. I already am stronger, but I need even more power," Elayne replied with another sigh. "Welp, I guess that’s it. We need to grind levels like crazy. I need to reach Level 500, which means Tier 5."
"L-Level 500..." Mark muttered. "Well, that’s not going to be easy..."
"Nope," Elayne shook her head. "I’ll test what I can retrieve right now though. Let’s see."
She gave the inventory a clear command to retrieve everything she could take out at her current level. A large pile of items soon materialized before her. It seemed her limit reached up to C-rank items for now. Several pieces of equipment she had wielded before appeared.
However, what she had been wearing when she died was obviously not there. It had all been destroyed.
"Oh, there’s still quite a lot of things?" Mark said, surprised. "A lot of potions and... money. Nether Coins...!"
"Yeah," Elayne replied. "And there’s also the Netherworld Key and the Heart of Nether... but those are too high-grade. I can’t get them yet. But I also remember storing a lot of ordinary stuff in there... there’s... my phone!" she gasped. "Oh my god, my phone!!!"
