Su Ping learns about the Mechanical Association's interest in Feifei's Heart of Dreams and how the struggle between the Flame and Water Venerables presents an opportunity for Dragon Nation to acquire lost ancient breeding methods. The Holy Dragon implies that Su Ping's pet beast's cloning ability and his own mastery of External Incarnation could be crucial. Su Ping is also intrigued by the potential benefits of skills like Transferring Flowers and Trees and the nature of Time Series Dragon Seeds.
Three make a tiger! This is absolutely the classic case of "three make a tiger"! Such rumors, Su Ping truly wishes to deny them outright. However, as he listens to the words spoken by this Legend of the Holy Dragon, Su Ping finds his interest in that so-called time-series dragon species growing. What kind of dragon pet could possibly cause both this Legend of the Holy Dragon and that Legendary Level Candle Dragon to display such rare and profound astonishment? Su Ping is intensely curious. Therefore, faced with such rumors, he can only endure them in silence. It's fine, whether that creature will be fortunate enough to become his Contracted Beast is still entirely uncertain! Consequently, Su Ping refrains from further inquiry into this particular topic, choosing instead to convey his stance through quiet non-response. Yet, the individual before him appears to have misinterpreted Su Ping's intentions, gently patting his shoulder with affection and chuckling: "No need to feel pressured! The matter concerning Elder Zhu can be appropriately deferred; what you most urgently require for your breeding endeavors is the Heavenly Tomb!" At this juncture, Su Ping ponders for a moment before directly stating: "Holy Dragon, I wish to enter the Heavenly Tomb when the opportunity arises!" Indeed, upon hearing these words, the man's brow slowly knits together, his dark eyes fixating intently on Su Ping. The gaze is incredibly profound, his features appearing ordinary, yet possessing an indescribable depth. "Have you truly thought this through?" Su Ping nods affirmatively. The man then reveals a subtle smile: "Possessing such courage is certainly commendable! However, do you comprehend the perils lurking within the Heavenly Tomb? Or perhaps, do you truly understand the nature of the Heavenly Tomb itself?" Su Ping's eyes narrow slightly. He shakes his head, then nods. The man shows no displeasure at his ambiguous reply, instead proceeding to explain: "If my conjecture is accurate, the Heavenly Tomb might be intertwined with secrets of a mythical tier!" Su Ping's eyelids suddenly twitch. "While I have not personally attained that level, I can infer certain possibilities; it could very well hold some method of resurrection pertaining to that unknown mythical entity!" "Resurrection? Can it genuinely resurrect? The mythical level is merely speculation and legend; in the entire history of Blue Star Beastmasters, there seems to have been no actual contact with the emergence of mythical-level beings, correct? And it can still resurrect from such an ancient time?" Su Ping expresses his confusion. The man shakes his head, responding: "Beings like the Water Venerable and Flame Venerable, who reached the zenith of the Legendary Totem realm, possessed contingency plans for resurrection. It follows logically that, in eras far older, the mythical level would undoubtedly possess such capabilities." Su Ping's breath hitches slightly. Several of the assurances he had previously relied upon for confidence while contemplating an exploration of the Heavenly Tomb instantly begin to crumble. Is his current cultivation level truly sufficient when faced with the potential might of mythical-level entities? If confronted by beings of such magnitude, would his Immortal Dragon Soul truly prove effective? Su Ping is uncertain. However, words, once spoken, are like spilled water. Very shortly, the Legend of the Holy Dragon manages to restore some of Su Ping's confidence: "But for any living entity, achieving resurrection is an immensely difficult feat. The Heavenly Tomb exists in a total of four instances; and currently, only the one situated across the ocean, which appeared some years ago, remains. This fact strongly suggests that, even if my hypothesis holds true, actual entities of that supreme caliber are unlikely to manifest. And most crucially..." The man's eyes narrow slightly as he calmly observes Su Ping, yet he refrains from speaking further. How astute is he? Back then, Charles's underlying intentions, his spoken words, all became starkly clear almost immediately. Or rather, Charles had employed a rather transparent scheme. He intends to transform Su Ping into a being akin to himself, subjugated by whatever entities might reside within the Heavenly Tomb. Therefore, even if Su Ping ventures into the Heavenly Tomb, there exists a significant probability that he will not encounter true existential peril. Not even his soul, his sense of self, or his memories would be at risk. The sole potential danger lies in becoming like Charles... Yet, he cannot impede Su Ping's desire to enter the Heavenly Tomb. He also wishes to ascertain whether the 'successor' he favors can indeed meet his expectations. With this thought, the man continues: "Su Ping, do you happen to know of the Dragon Gate?" He hadn't known before, but recently learned of it after making contact with Dragon City; the Dragon Gate appears with notable frequency. He also theorizes about some of its effects: "Is it a treasure or a resource specifically designed to test whether a pet beast possesses the potential for Dragon Transformation?" The Legend of the Holy Dragon smiles: "Precisely! Any pet beast that successfully passes through the Dragon Gate can have its Dragon Transformation potential evaluated. Concurrently, the Dragon Gate serves as the crucial key and controller for Dragon City. Without the Dragon Gate, Dragon City ceases to exist. It could even be said that, were it not for the Dragon Gate, aside from certain fortuitous encounters and the rare instances of dragon clans in the outside world successfully evolving and persisting, systematic dragon clan pet beasts would not exist." Su Ping's heart stirs, and he finally poses the question again: "Holy Dragon, aside from evolving from other pet beasts, does the Dragon Clan possess alternate methods of reproduction?" "Naturally, how else do those dragon eggs come into being? This final test, the top three finishers are rewarded with a dragon pet, all of which are given out in egg form. In truth, the Dragon Clan can also produce offspring through mating, but this method does not align well with the conventional understanding of pet beasts." He rarely withholds information this time. "Oh?" Su Ping’s eyes blinked. "Dragons are also divided into male and female, otherwise, why is Bing’er like that?"
