Su Ping learns about the Four Seas Dragon Palace and the Haina Baichuan skill. He is presented with several attractive Lands of Inheritance but remains undecided on which to choose or if he should contract with a dragon. The Ice Dragon King allows him to consult the Legend of the Holy Dragon for guidance before entering Dragon City.

Within a peculiar secret realm, several structures were present, their modern appearance clearly indicating this was no ordinary hidden domain. It was, in fact, an operational base for a highly specialized department within Dragon Nation. This department, even among the nation's elite, wasn't particularly high-ranking or influential. While it was immensely profitable, this prosperity came at a steep cost: significantly higher risks compared to other departments. In recent years, the once enthusiastic volunteering from Beastmaster Association members during mobilizations had waned, a direct consequence of the alarmingly high casualty and injury rates within this department. It was none other than the Qintian Monitor, also known as the Secret Realm Inspection Office, or more colloquially, the Touch Gold Officer.

Huang Tianbing slumped onto the office sofa, his eyes closed for barely twenty minutes before snapping open again. Despite the dawn breaking outside, Huang Tianbing, an Emperor-level Beastmaster who hadn't slept for days, was overcome with weariness. It was evident that whoever was about to enter had urgent matters to discuss.

Indeed, this was the case. "Boss, another secret realm exhibiting extremely unstable energy has surfaced in Xiliang Province. It's merely an Emperor-level secret realm remnant, but upon entry, all resources, pet beasts, and legacies were obliterated by energy tides! We not only gained nothing, but we also lost one formal member and three temporary ones..."

Huang Tianbing's vision momentarily darkened. He rubbed his temples in frustration, feeling that since the New Year began, not a single piece of good news had arrived. The Qintian Monitor used to be an undeniably comfortable position, but now, without substantial rewards from the secret realms, how could he possibly convince his beastmasters to venture into such perilous domains? However, the staffing shortage was secondary to the greater concern: the treacherous nature of the secret realms themselves. The extreme instability of the spatial energy within them made the environments volatile, with the potential to impact the outside world. Consequently, resolving issues within these secret realms was a matter of pressing urgency.

Deputy Director Lin, who had just arrived, observed the haggard Huang Tianbing. "Boss, has there been any reinforcement from higher-ups yet? Not to mention the Space Shatterers..."

Huang Tianbing shook his head. "Each Space Shatterer is as valuable as ordinary Emperor-level resources. These are specialized anti-space mechanical weapons, and the higher-ups cannot simply equip us with them at will."

Deputy Director Lin sighed. "In Huaiyang and Jianghai, during the last strange secret realm activation at the Shattered Stone Mountain Range, we lost over half our personnel, leaving us critically short-handed. Furthermore, there's a manpower deficit in the provinces of Minyue, Xiliang, Ximo, and Beiyuan, which is also quite problematic... On top of that, there's the Star Net Secret Realm on East Sea Dragon Tooth Island, the newly discovered Rainbow Light Secret Realm in Xiliang, and that Thunder Pond Secret Realm in Beiyuan..."

"Enough, enough!" Huang Tianbing hastily waved his hand, fearing his teeth would ache if the list continued. "I will devise a solution. If it comes to the worst, I'll personally visit the Mechanics Association and refuse to leave until they agree!" Huang Tianbing stood up, a resolute determination in his eyes, preparing to go and earnestly petition the Mechanics Association.

However, Deputy Director Lin paused. "Boss, didn't we have an unofficial member last time on Yanxun Island?"

Hearing this, Huang Tianbing was slightly taken aback, then looked at Deputy Director Lin with a speechless expression. "Old Lin, didn't you watch the live news broadcast?"

Deputy Director Lin blinked in surprise. "Do you even have time to watch broadcasts?"

This question caused Huang Tianbing to awkwardly touch his nose. He then waved his hand, exasperated. "In short, that individual is no longer someone I can command. I might have an opportunity to inquire, but expecting to mobilize him back and forth like a workhorse is simply not feasible."

It wasn't that Huang Tianbing hadn't considered Su Ping. He was even aware that Su Ping had arrived in the Imperial Capital. But as he stated, the Qintian Monitor's duties were exceptionally specialized, and he preferred to avoid excessive contact with Spirit Saint-level beastmasters to prevent potential complications. Su Ping, with his close ties to Sang Sheng and Ghost Saint, was not ideally suited for deep involvement in the Qintian Monitor's operations.

Damnation! Why wasn't that special spatial trait, capable of absorbing spatial power, in the hands of an ordinary Qintian Monitor member?

Such talent in animal husbandry, coupled with a unique spatial ability tailored for this very purpose, was a source of immense envy, sparking both jealousy and resentment! Yet, in Old Lin's view, without the arrival of the Space Shatterer, he found himself with no alternative but to turn to Su Ping. He held onto the hope that the members of the Mechanics Association, perpetually engrossed in their world of steel and electromagnetism, might exhibit some semblance of compassion. Huang Tianbing let out a sigh. ... Unbeknownst to Huang Tianbing, who was deeply contemplating his situation, Su Ping was currently unaware of the gravity of the circumstances. He had been out of touch with Lord Jianzheng of the Qintian Monitor for such an extended period that he had almost forgotten about him. At this moment, Su Ping found himself standing before a street. Lush green grass carpeted the ground. Bathed in the gentle morning sunlight, the trees shimmered with a jade-like luster. Glancing back, he could even observe people casually strolling by just beyond the confines of this neighborhood.
