Lu Xingming achieved a respectable rank in the provincial exam, though he never intended to compete in the final rounds. Meanwhile, trending searches are dominated by news of Su Ping and his powerful "Paperman" during the Jianghai Province exam, catching Lu Xingming and influential figures in the Imperial Capital by surprise.

"That is precisely so. The strength of the Heavenly Five Elements Body is currently the core representation of Paperman. Though Paperman does possess a future, its development requires a period of time," Zhu Hong chuckled, replying.

He had been one of the developers of the Zhou Tian Five Elements Body in the past, thus naturally possessing the qualifications to make such assertions.

Master Yin nodded, harboring a certain anticipation for his next encounter with Su Ping.

A considerable number of individuals were present, and those who were there indeed represented the absolute elite. An elder, his hair a cascade of white, smiled and inquired:

"Little Zhu, this Su Ping possesses the Dragon Emblem, yet he has not yet entered Dragon City, has he?"

"Yes, Elder Feng. However, upon arriving at the Imperial Capital this time, Su Ping should be heading towards Dragon City," Zhu Hong responded with deep respect towards the elder. Despite his own advanced age, he still regarded the elder with the deference due to a junior.

The reason for this was simple: not only was the elder Zhu Hong’s senior in terms of age and experience, but his identity was also exceptionally significant.

Indeed, throughout the entire Dragon Nation, few individuals could claim a status higher than his.

He held the position of Chairman of the Breeder Association.

However, Chairman Feng’s inquiry subtly altered the atmosphere among those present.

Leng Ye was the first to clear his throat softly:

"The relationship between Xiao Ping and us need not be elaborated upon; his achievements within the Necromancy Series are self-evident. As for the Burial Ground, there has never been a truly notable young Beast Tamer. I can pledge on behalf of the Ghost Dragon King that should Xiao Ping align himself with the Burial Ground, the exceptionally rare Phantom Dragon and Shadow Dragon shall be bestowed as dragon species. Furthermore, all inheritances will be made freely available for study."

The moment these words were uttered, Yin Luo, standing beside them, let out a light chuckle:

"I believe in Ghost Saint’s assurances, and I doubt the Ghost Dragon King would offer any refusal."

The individuals present exchanged glances regarding these two old figures. Yet, even with Ghost Saint among them, he was certainly not considered aged, appearing more as belonging to the younger generation.

"Earlier, I overheard Meng Yao mention that Su Ping, this young fellow, seems to harbor a considerable interest in the Four Seas Dragon Palace?" a figure inquired with a smile.

"Now that the Eastern Sea calamity has subsided and the Water Venerable has been resurrected, what business does Meng Yao still have with Su Ping?" someone else interjected, expressing a hint of displeasure.

"Lord Sea Dragon King certainly schemes quite effectively..."

Finally, the white-bearded old man emitted a gentle cough:

"Very well. Regarding this matter, it is not too late to deliberate once Su Ping arrives! Dragon City belongs to the Dragon Nation’s Dragon City, and healthy competition for Dragon Soul shares is beneficial. However, do not resort to certain unsavory methods because of this matter! Let things proceed naturally."

It was abundantly clear that Elder Feng held a particularly special and transcendent status among those gathered. Once he voiced his opinion, even Leng Ye did not press his point further.

The unique nature of Dragon City and its Dragon Pets inevitably led to competition among the various Lands of Inheritance.

Nonetheless, as Dragon City represented the Dragon Nation’s most significant heritage, it was naturally impossible for this high-ranking echelon to engage in a fight to the death over internal affairs.

Yet, the exchange of glances among the assembled figures made it evident that Su Ping, this coveted prodigy, would undoubtedly incite turmoil among the different Lands of Inheritance within Dragon City upon his arrival.

At this precise moment, the scene unfolding downstairs was being observed by a figure in the upper chambers.

That legendary existence within the Dragon Nation, a broad smile gracing his features, surveyed the overt and covert struggles below. He then turned his gaze towards another individual present in the pavilion:

"What are your thoughts on this young fellow?"

A figure concealed within a swirling vortex, its form and face indistinct, responded in a peculiar tone:

"Not bad! He possesses considerable potential, carrying a shadow of your younger self."

This voice was evidently quite familiar with the venerable Legend of the Holy Dragon before him.

The latter, in turn, treated this veiled figure with considerable courtesy:

"Haha, that is quite a high commendation."

"Tsk, you remain as thick-skinned as ever."

Their exchange was remarkably straightforward, akin to that of old friends conversing.

However, the shadow within the illusory space did not linger for long, soon vanishing without a trace. It left behind a final directive:

"Keep an eye on this child for me. Do not allow those little rascals to snatch him away. Alert me once this child reaches the Imperial Capital. His talent is being excessively wasted on cultivating those low-level dragon species."

The man was immediately amused.

Matters concerning the Land of Inheritance did indeed warrant attention, but perhaps not to such an exaggerated extent.

At least, that was his current perspective.

However...

The man’s gaze fell upon a video screen nearby. A slight smile played on his lips as he reached for his custom-made phone and dialed a number.Ten minutes passed, and a figure materialized in his rear. It was a woman, her face etched with a stern, unwavering resolve. This description might be difficult to apply to most women, particularly one who appeared to be in her prime, yet it fit perfectly. She was around thirty years of age, with short hair framing her face. Her long, narrow eyes held no discernible emotion, as cold and impassive as a being devoid of all feeling. "Long'er, greetings to the Legendary Lord," she stated. Her low, gravelly voice was a surprising match for her severe appearance. The man acknowledged her with a nod. "How are matters now?" "Returning to the Headmaster, all preparations are thoroughly complete and ready at a moment's notice!" the woman replied, bowing. The Legend of the Holy Dragon nodded, a look of satisfaction crossing his features. "As you come from the Dragon Group, I place my trust in you. Head to Jianghai the morning after next!"
