Beast Taming: the More the Better Chapter 800 - 347: Outrageous Evolution Law! Experience Hall Grand Opening! (Part 4)
Previously on Beast Taming: the More the Better...
"Ah, why am I all the way in Dianzang? Jianghai is incredibly far. If I had to fly, the ticket alone would cost tens of thousands—it’s truly painful..."
"Exactly where is this 'Heart of Myriad Spirits' in Linzhou located? It sounds quite formidable, doesn’t it? How is it that I’ve never heard of it back in Shuhua City?"
"By the way, is this boisterous guy the same one acting as Yinyin's sugar daddy?"
"Pfft, our Yin Yin is entirely independent; she doesn't require any sugar daddy. Stop looking at others through such a filthy lens."
"The idea of a 'sugar daddy' is complete rubbish; it sounds more like he’s just a lackey. Even so, he’s clearly not an ordinary person."
"Tsk, tsk. Besides, isn't the boss of Pingyun known as a queen? It should be a 'sugar mommy' instead~"
Despite the constant chatter, in Yin Yin’s professional live streams, such talk usually vanishes quickly due to moderator intervention or gets buried by the sheer volume of comments.
Yet, today was an exception.
Suddenly, a youthful voice, recognizable as neither the streamer nor the guest, cut through the broadcast:
"You sound lively, don't you? Chatting away so happily—why did you claim you absolutely had to take a half-month leave from me? And then you come here to serve as a host?"
This voice did not belong to Yin Yin, nor to the student, Li Shu.
The previous man immediately scrambled to reply:
"Bro Ping... why are you here? Hehe, I just felt better seeing Yin's school belle."
"Ah, Yin Yin? You’re here! Long time no see!"
The voice echoed through the stream, and as the camera suddenly swung to the floor, the audience realized the host’s composure had been shattered.
"Long... long time no see..."
As soon as that familiar voice spoke, every sound in the stream cut out.
The screen turned into a void.
Only a few words remained: 'The host is currently away; please wait a moment~'
Yin Yin had clearly terminated the stream.
Even with the feed dead, the comment section continued to scroll wildly:
"What the hell just happened?"
"Could that actually be her backer? But he sounded quite young, right?"
"Use your head—do you honestly believe a D-list streamer could afford a 'Heart of Dreams' for their broadcast?"
"Quit the rumors, will you? Yin Yin is a wealthy second generation; she streams for fun. What is a 'Heart of Dreams' to her, anyway?"
"Tsk, tsk. Being a wealthy heir is certainly nice~"
There were die-hard fans standing their ground and snarky trolls, while a few well-informed viewers watched in silence. This tiny group knew exactly whose voice had interrupted the stream.
They understood that discussions regarding *that* person were strictly forbidden, and they knew better than to spread snippets or text.
The chat was a mess, but the individuals involved could not care less.
Su Ping stepped inside, casting a calm glance at the rigid school belle. He offered a slight smile, remaining undisturbed.
The 'Heart of Dreams' was indeed significant to him, but these petty social entanglements were mere trifles.
He walked past without hesitation, knowing that his presence made it difficult for her to speak comfortably.
Honestly, Su Ping felt somewhat weary of how interpersonal dynamics and attitudes underwent such drastic shifts once a person’s status changed.
It was rather tedious.
Yet, such is the nature of the world; the ease of a powerhouse never translates into relaxation for others.
Especially lately, Yin Yin had deeply realized how profoundly Su Ping had transformed since his graduation less than a year ago.
Perhaps she had once harbored unrealistic fantasies, but now, seeing him, only caution and nervousness remained. Even the prospect of using a thank-you dinner to build a relationship felt impossible to broach.
Thankfully, Su Ping didn't press the issue. He simply gave a polite nod, saying: "We’re all former classmates. Do visit often. Don't be so shy."
"Yes, of course..."
With a wave of his hand, Su Ping moved on toward the upper floors. Once he had departed, Yin Yin let out a long, shaky breath and resumed her broadcast.
Su Ping was unconcerned with Yin Yin, nor did he care about the details of the 'Heart of Dreams' Experience Hall.
Yet, he knew that the person he was searching for was certainly inside.
As expected, he headed upstairs and entered a private chamber.
A figure was reclining on the bed, wearing a headset and surrounded by an array of snacks, while outside, staff members were stationed to ensure no one disturbed the peace.
As Su Ping entered, the figure removed the 'Heart of Dreams' interface, clutching a bag of chips while eyeing Su Ping:
"You’re here? How did the grand opening go today?"
"Quite smoothly. Senior’s taste remains impeccable."
That was undeniably true. Although this individual possessed a childish temperament, he was by no means immature.
The facility was clean, comprehensive, and well-equipped, featuring tea rooms, snack areas, and premium experience suites. Apart from the high costs, it was a perfectly constructed space.
"However, I didn't come to you for that, senior. I have some new theories regarding the evolution of the Rainbow Coral Worm and could use your expertise."
Su Ping stated his true intent with a grin.
Ray Saint didn't seem particularly shocked, as he had long realized the kid was just that sort of person.
Beyond his occasional fishing, his mind was entirely consumed by Cultivation and meditation. Seeking advice was well within expectations.
As for the Rainbow Coral Worm, Ray Saint clearly lacked interest, dismissing it as nonsense. He had only mentioned it earlier as a lure for Su Ping.
In Dragon City, even the Four Seas Dragon Palace couldn't crack the code, so Su Ping’s interest was clearly oriented toward those specific evolved forms. Though actual Dragon Transformation was unlikely, extending an insect's lifespan was still a possibility.
He held high hopes for Su Ping, and thus, Ray Saint would never refuse his requests for aid:
"What’s the problem? If within my capabilities, I'll assist, but don't let it drag on too long. The new ranking system in the 'Heart of Dreams' is fantastic! We’re climbing the ladder right now!"
Su Ping pursed his lips briefly before saying: "I’m attempting a new cultivation method for the Rainbow Coral Worm, and it requires the assistance of a Water Dragon or a Blue Dragon. I heard you possess one—could it accompany me to the Heart of Water?"
"A Water Dragon? A new cultivation method?"
Ray Saint was startled, then immediately piqued with interest:
"Very well. But that creature has a nasty temper, so I’ll accompany you to ensure you don’t accidentally harm that precious worm. Also, what exactly do you need it for?"
Su Ping smiled, his expression enigmatic:
"It's simple. I need it to eat it."
Ray Saint: "?"
