Beast Taming: the More the Better Chapter 683 - 309: Vein Seed? The Dying Life Ancient Tree!
The Rong Family. Among the influential families that took shape at the outset of Dragon Nation, the Rong Family certainly could be ranked highly. Naturally, the heritage passed down through their generations over so many years was also quite extraordinary. This book could be called an encyclopedia of Poison Type Pet Beasts! It also contained extensive research on seven major categories: snakes and pythons, spiders, centipedes, scorpions, Toads, certain fungi plants, and rodent Pet Beasts, a lineage now largely lost.
Among them, Su Ping recognized over twenty different Pet Beast Evolutionary Body Cultivations. Su Ping truly hadn’t expected his grandfather to give him such a generous gift package.
Even if, as his grandfather said, many of the Rong Family’s Cultivation Methods were confiscated long ago, turned over, and recorded in the Breeder Association’s database, the Rong Family’s exclusive Evolutionary Cultivation might only have been developed in these past twenty years. Yet, even for those turned-over methods, Su Ping would have to spend a large amount of academic credits to redeem them.
There was, however, one Evolutionary Body Su Ping was familiar with: the Poison Wind Demon Snake! It was the Monarch Evolutionary Body of the Cloud-Patterned Tree Python, a Pet Beast with Commander Level Racial Potential. This Poison Wind Demon Snake was a fairly technically challenging choice among the Evolutionary Bodies included in the Rong Family’s heritage book.
However, what slightly disappointed Su Ping was that this Rong Family heritage book did not have any Super-Rank Skill Cultivation Methods.
Su Ping placed the Rong Family’s heritage book into the Beast Taming Space, glanced outside, then stood up and stretched.
The Sky-splitter had arrived at its destination. At this very moment, it was parked on the landing pad at the very top of the Heart of Myriad Spirits, above the Heart of Cloud.
"Brother Xing, we’ve arrived and you didn’t even tell me. Sorry to keep you waiting."
"I saw you were resting. Besides, it’s just a short while!" Xing Chen laughed and waved his hand.
Nearby, Zhao Qingqing quickly stood up. After leaving the Anling Tree House, she clearly felt somewhat reserved facing Su Ping alone.
"Alright, thanks for making the trip. Leng Ye’s private jet is certainly comfortable. I wonder when I might own one," Su Ping said, half polite, half wistful.
"With your ability, it won’t be long," Xing Chen replied.
"Then I’ll take that as a good omen. Anyway, I won’t keep you any longer."
After bidding farewell to Xing Chen and disembarking from the Sky-splitter, Su Ping stood on the summit of the Heart of Cloud. He looked down at the Heart of Myriad Spirits, which he had been away from for half a month, and let out a long breath.
As the Sky-splitter took off and departed, Su Ping turned with a smile to Zhao Qingqing. "Miss Zhao, take a day to rest. The Wanmu Wolf and Heart of the Sun aren’t projects that can be finished in just ten days or a fortnight."
Zhao Qingqing nodded eagerly. "I understand, please rest assured! If you have any instructions, please feel free to tell me! I have some experience with the Cultivation of Forest Wolves and Cloud-Patterned Tree Pythons since childhood."
Su Ping raised an eyebrow.
Just as he was thinking this, Guan Qianshan, whom he hadn’t seen in half a month, arrived.
"Xiao Ping!"
Su Ping nodded. After introducing Zhao Qingqing to Uncle Guan and arranging for a staff member to lead Zhao Qingqing to choose a temporary residence, Su Ping walked out of the Heart of Cloud building with Uncle Guan and asked, "Has anything significant happened at the Heart of Myriad Spirits in the past half-month I’ve been away?"
"External matters haven’t amounted to much. Anything that did happen was minor and not worth mentioning. However, there is one thing concerning the internal development of the Heart of Myriad Spirits that I need to report to you."
