Beast Taming: the More the Better Chapter 1359: Dragon City's Treasury! A Dazzling Array!

Su Ping looked over, meeting everyone’s gaze. The room wasn’t actually large, but it was fully equipped. At a rough glance, there were a good twenty people present. He recognized many of them, though a few were unfamiliar. The hierarchy of Beastmasters was rigid, resembling a pyramid. Naturally, the high-level Beastmasters standing at the peak were far fewer in number. The Spirit Saint Level was an especially difficult threshold and bottleneck to cross. Despite being the focus of so many eyes, Su Ping remained completely composed, not minding the attention in the slightest.
The situation in Jade Dreamland was somewhat unsatisfactory. According to the reports from their side, it would be extremely difficult for the members of the Heavenly Tomb Army to make a full recovery. More importantly, even as one of the top Inheritances in Dragon City concerning spiritual and soul mastery, they couldn’t find a particularly effective treatment method. This left Su Ping quite disappointed.
However, this was not the time to dwell on such matters. He smiled faintly and, under everyone’s watchful eyes, walked over to take a seat on the left of the Legend of the Holy Dragon, surveying the figures in the room.
At the same time, the Legend of the Holy Dragon spoke up. “Su Ping is here. Have a seat, and I will introduce you.”
With that, he personally began making introductions.
The ones Su Ping already recognized naturally needed no introduction: the ancestor of the Chen Family and Chen Zhan’s grandfather, former head of the Imperial Capital Academy, Saint Yuan; the Feather Saint, who specialized in healing with the Light Series and Life Series; Leng Ye, who had come along; Sang Sheng, the recently retired headmaster of the Magic Capital Academy; Yao Sheng Meng Yao, a new-generation Spirit Saint Level expert with whom Su Ping had a good relationship; Mad Saint Wu Kuang, the president of the Mechanical Association currently in charge of investigating the Heart of Gold; Poison Saint Liu Niang, who was another comrade-in-arms of Su Ping’s grandfather; Yun Sheng Feng Caiyu, who still looked as ethereal as ever but showed faint signs of fatigue; and Elder Feng and Zhu Hong.
Beyond them were the ones he didn’t know. Of course, they simply hadn’t met face-to-face before. On the way here, the Legend of the Holy Dragon had already briefed him on their identities, so Su Ping knew who they were as they were introduced.
“Old Wolf! My old brother, and also your grandfather’s direct commanding officer back in the day. You two should take the time to catch up later.”
Su Ping looked at the tall, elderly man and nodded. The old man nodded in return but said nothing.
The Legend of the Holy Dragon then looked toward a white-haired woman who seemed to exude a natural chill. “This is the headmistress of Bingyuan Academy, the Snow Saint. Ah Xue doesn’t usually make public appearances.”
Like the previous man, the Snow Saint merely gave a slight nod without speaking.
Finally, the Legend of the Holy Dragon pointed to two completely unfamiliar figures. Both were dressed in silver soft armor—one tall, the other short. They had ordinary features but shared a resemblance, suggesting they were brothers. Their soft armor stood in stark contrast to the modern attire worn by almost everyone else.
“This is the leader of the Star Dragon Fleet, the Star Saint: Ying Xing!” the Legend of the Holy Dragon introduced. “The Star Dragon Fleet is responsible for resource gathering and exploration in outer space!”
Su Ping realized they were entities from outer space, which explained everything. Previously, he had heard that expanding into the cosmos was the overarching strategy for every Beastmaster nation on Blue Star. It was an inevitable path for the future. Now, he was finally meeting the people in charge. He figured the other man was likely from the same faction as well.
Sure enough, the introduction followed. “And this is the Moon Saint: Ying Yue! They are brothers. Ying Yue established the Dragon Nation’s base and territory on the Moon, standing guard over outer space.”
Unlike the previous individuals, the Moon Saint took the initiative to smile at Su Ping. “We’ve heard that a remarkable genius has emerged in our nation. Looking at you now, it seems your brilliance exceeds even our initial expectations!”
Su Ping returned the smile. “You flatter me.”
Lastly, the Legend of the Holy Dragon pointed to a final figure—excluding the Breeders. It was an extremely slender silhouette. Sitting at the very back, Su Ping had subconsciously overlooked his existence.
“This is the Shadow Saint. His role is a bit more unique. He occasionally serves as an instructor for the Special Beast Taming Forces and was the first-generation commander of the Dragon Group. He currently carries out special assignments.”
Looking at the figure seemingly blending into the shadows, Su Ping understood. Speaking of which, Long’er was from the Dragon Group. He wondered if Long’er knew this person. As for the so-called special assignments mentioned by the Legend of the Holy Dragon, Su Ping had reason to suspect they were off-the-books, shadow operations.
Once the introductions were complete, Su Ping took his seat.
The Legend of the Holy Dragon gestured toward Elder Feng’s group. “I don’t need to introduce the Breeders, do I?”
Su Ping nodded, acknowledging Elder Feng and Zhu Hong. Everyone else settled in comfortably. They all guessed that the Holy Dragon had summoned them here because he had an important matter to announce.
The Legend of the Holy Dragon didn’t beat around the bush and went straight to the point. “I plan to appoint Su Ping as the Vice President of the General Beastmaster Association. Do any of you have objections?”
At those words, everyone exchanged glances, clearly seeing the astonishment in each other’s eyes. However, not a single person spoke up. Nor did anyone raise a hand in opposition. After being in power for so many years, whenever this man made a final decision, it was absolute and immutable.
