Ye Canghai is betrayed and targeted for banishment by Celestial Star and Space King, who plan to join the gods. Just as Ye Canghai is about to be expelled, Ye Bai arrives with his Heaven-Swallowing Pelican and intervenes. Ye Bai easily counters Celestial Star's puppet thread trap and poisons, then unleashes the Netherworld Hell Wolf. Meanwhile, Ye Bai's other beasts, Big Gray, Ten Thousand Changes Saint Butterfly, and Sunflower Fairy, engage Star Spirit King. Space King attempts to escape but is trapped by Ye Bai's formations and summons the powerful Celestial Whale to fight the Heaven-Swallowing Pelican.

The star whale's eyes were wide, its maw aglow with the imminent discharge of its star cannon energy. It was just as the beast completed its charge, poised to unleash the blast, that the Sunflower Fairy intervened, its thorny vines constricting the whale's mouth. The pent-up energy, trapped within, erupted violently from the whale's own jaws.

Before the astonished eyes of all observers, the star whale's mouth turned a searing, incandescent orange-red. Then, with a deafening explosion, blood and fragments of flesh were sent flying in all directions. The sheer force of its own energy cannon annihilated the star whale from within.

A thick cloud of smoke billowed from the ruptured mouth of the star whale, dispersing into the air like dark, acrid soot. In the immediate aftermath, the Sunflower Fairy's thorns swiftly pierced the gaping maw. These thorns burrowed deep into the star whale's ravaged body, commencing an insatiable absorption of its essence. The slender tendrils writhed like a vascular system, pulsating with newly blossomed star-blue flowers.

Fueled by the life force it was draining, the growth of these thorny appendages accelerated dramatically. The colossal star whale convulsed violently before toppling to the ground, its once star-speckled blue hide rapidly becoming enveloped by a vibrant, verdant growth. Countless sunflowers erupted from the creature's core.

Within moments, the star whale's exhalations far surpassed its inhalations, and soon after, it drew its final breath. Even the basketball-sized crystal core that resided within was unceremoniously extracted by the Sunflower Fairy. To the utter bewilderment of the onlookers, the star whale's corpse, against all odds, began to stir and lift into the air.

"Thank you, Sunflower Fairy, this gift is truly appreciated," Ye Bai exclaimed, clapping his hands in delight. "Sunflower Fairy, let us next transform the star whale's remains into a formidable battleship to patrol the Flame Country's domain!"

The Star Spirit King and the Space King watched this unbelievable turn of events, their faces contorted with unbridled fury. "Your power has grown so immensely?" the Space King hissed through gritted teeth, his expression venomous. "I should have eradicated you completely in the past. I will not permit you to continue on this path."

The Glory Angels had ceased all communication, and their forces had been decimated by cosmic snipers. It was only through immense effort that they had managed to forge an alliance with the Heaven and Earth Association. Yet, Ye Bai, with a single, decisive move, had obliterated their most powerful weapon, the star whale. The sheer potency of Ye Bai's pet beasts instilled a chilling dread within them.

They realized with crushing certainty that they had gravely underestimated him, and the regret of not eliminating him when his powers were nascent gnawed at them. They were consumed by a profound sense of missed opportunity. "Flee!" urged the Space King, as he and the Star Spirit King attempted to tear open an escape passage, only to find their bodies utterly unresponsive to their commands.

"Flee?" a mocking voice echoed. "Do you truly believe you can simply depart?" The Celestial Star sneered, a chilling amusement playing on his lips. "You have shown me far too little respect. Two individuals who sought refuge with me have the audacity to abandon me in the presence of their master—you dare to slap my face!" He tapped his own cheek with a mocking gesture.

He had endured a millennium of confinement, only to find that Blue Star lacked even a single Saint Tier cultivator. Upon his release, the Heaven and Earth Association would undoubtedly reign supreme. This very certainty had enticed numerous individuals to seek his favor. With the Glory Angels out of contact, the Eight Kings had descended into utter panic. Hastily, and without proper investigation, they had pledged allegiance to the Heaven and Earth Association, fully anticipating the inevitable reckoning that would follow their emergence.

"It is I who should depart first; you two can remain to cover my retreat," the Celestial Star declared, preparing to unleash his 'Star Puppet Threads.' "Proceed, unleash your pet beasts, do not hold back, let them all attack me." With a final, dismissive wave, he added, "Very well, I shall take my leave now, farewell." The spatial rift, meticulously opened by the Celestial Star, abruptly vanished just as he was about to step through it.

He turned, offering a smile that thinly veiled his growing unease. The smile slowly morphed into a cold, hard expression. "If you had allowed me to depart earlier, would all this have been avoidable? I have no desire to engage in a desperate struggle with you. Why provoke me? You should understand there's a vast difference between an Eighth Tier and another Eighth Tier."

"Just like those two worthless individuals," he continued, his gaze falling upon the Star Spirit King and Space King. "Though they are Eighth Tier Pet Beast Masters, in my eyes, they barely rank above Seventh Tier." Singled out and chastised so publicly, the Star Spirit King and Space King flushed crimson with embarrassment, resembling scolded monkeys.

"Star Puppet Threads!" With those words, the Star Spirit King and Space King involuntarily unleashed their ultimate techniques. The celestial brilliance instantly blanketed the entire firmament. The surrounding space began to fracture and tear, exuding an aura of impending doom. "See, you two are still somewhat useful after all," the Celestial Star remarked dryly, his eyes glinting with renewed interest. "Star Puppet Threads, quite effective indeed."

"Celestial Star, set me free! The Starfall skill shouldn’t be unleashed now; its true might is only revealed beneath a. canopy of stars."

"Release me!"

The Star Spirit King clenched his jaw, his teeth grinding in pure rage.

"It matters not. Honestly, whether you unleash it or not, it doesn’t truly impact me."

"After all, once you employ this technique, you shall become my puppet."

"Your physical form will progressively stiffen, and your awareness will gradually erode."

"The dread of the Star Puppet Threads doesn’t cease there; it is my signature creation as the Celestial Star."

"Now, commence, Spatial Storm, and Starfall."

"Descend, Beidou Seven Stars!"

The Space King unleashed Spatial Storm, weaving it seamlessly with Starfall.

The immediate vicinity warped and fractured, while the celestial bodies plunged into the shattered cosmic expanse, extending the reach of the spatial storm.

As the spatial storm materialized, Ye Bai’s eyes gleamed with excitement.

This presents an optimal setting for the Heaven-Swallowing Pelican’s evolution, wouldn’t you agree?

"A splendid notion, Heaven-Swallowing Pelican, it is time for your evolution."
