Song Jiaying reveals she is pregnant and intends to marry Ning Ge, even though he doesn't know. She asks Huo Zheng to be her witness when she registers their marriage, which she plans for the next day. Huo Zheng agrees, though he harbors regret for Song Jiaying.

Ning Ge felt unsettled all day today, as if something was about to happen, but this feeling didn’t make him anxious or threatened, it just felt off and full of discord.

Especially his heart, why is it beating so joyfully?

He pressed his hand against his left chest. The heart inside was pounding, very cheerfully, as if it was about to leap out.

What’s going on?

The office door was knocked, and the secretary walked in carrying a big box. Ning Ge couldn’t help but ask, "What is this?"

"Someone delivered it, seems like some shop staff," the secretary replied.

Ning Ge was curious. He took the box; it should be a packaging box for clothes, judging by the label with his name on it.

Upon opening it, inside was a high-quality white shirt and a note.

Wear it and wait for her, there’s somewhere she wants to take you. Signed, Song Jiaying.

Ning Ge smiled, unfolded the shirt, compared its size, then sent the secretary out while he changed into the shirt, which fit perfectly.

What is this, she even prepared clothes for him, where are they going?

Might it be to meet some friends or something? Is she taking him out to make an appearance?

Ning Ge’s heart fluttered with excitement at the thought. He went to the restroom, checked himself again, grabbed the shaving stuff, applied, shaved, and cleaned his face, tidied his hair with hair gel.

He should perform well later and not put her to shame, but who are they meeting?

He waited until four in the afternoon when Song Jiaying arrived by car. He got in, saw her wearing a white dress, light makeup, high heels, confirming his thoughts.

"Suddenly being so formal, and even preparing clothes for me, where are we going? Who are we meeting?" Ning Ge asked with a smile.

"You’ll know when we get there!" Song Jiaying focused on driving.

Ning Ge made a sound in acknowledgment and said, "What about Tianyi, school should be over, do we need to pick him up?"

"Don’t worry, someone will pick him up."

Ning Ge felt relieved but also intrigued; the arrangements were quite mysterious. Who are they meeting?

Soon, the car stopped. Ning Ge looked outside, it’s not a hotel or anything, what’s happening?

Song Jiaying had already gotten out of the car and grabbed a bag from the backseat. Seeing him still sitting inside in a daze, she knocked on the window: "Get out!"

Ning Ge got out of the car, took another look around, and suddenly froze.

The marriage registration office?

He looked at Song Jiaying, then at himself, his heart started racing again.

No way? Could it be what he’s thinking?

"Let’s go!" Song Jiaying waved her hand.

Ning Ge started walking towards her, step by step, through the doors. They’re really entering the marriage registration office.

He grabbed Song Jiaying’s hand and asked, "So, who is getting married? Are we here to witness it?"

He looked at her with anticipation, waiting for her to say that word.

However, Song Jiaying smiled, "Yes."

Ning Ge’s heart felt a bit disappointed instantly; they really came to witness someone else’s marriage; he thought she was dragging him to get married!

Of course, he hasn’t even proposed yet, why would she bring him here.

He was led into the hall by her, unexpectedly seeing Huo Zheng, and beside him, Tianyi, which made him stop in his tracks.

He looked at Song Jiaying, curious about what’s going on, but then saw her take out two household registration books from her bag, handing them over to the staff, saying they’re here to register.

"Ning Ge, today, let’s get married!" Song Jiaying extended her hand towards him, her corners of the mouth raising.

Boom.

Fireworks exploded, dazzlingly beautiful, brilliant and glittering.

Five years it has been, and she said, let’s get married!
