Knocking on the door, it was Father Qi who opened it. Seeing her return, he beamed with a smile: "You’re back?"

"Dad, I’m back!" Cheng Su carried her things inside, looked around, and asked, "Where’s Xiao Qi?"

As she walked through the small corridor, there was noise from the kitchen where Mother Qi was making dinner. Cheng Su greeted her and then saw Qi Xiaoqi rubbing his eyes as he came out of the room.

"Son!" Cheng Su’s heart filled with joy as she hurried over, scooping up her son, saying, "Oh my, it’s only been a few days, how have you turned into such a little chubby one? You’re so heavy now, call me mom."

Seeing her, Qi Xiaoqi mumbled, "Mommy."

"Ah. Good boy!" Cheng Su’s heart melted, and she gave him several big kisses on his cheek, leaving his face covered with saliva.

Qi Xiaoqi wiped his smooth face in disdain, frowning his small brows, and said, "Drool, dirty!"

Hearing this, Cheng Su pretended to be angry: "Oh really, it’s only been a few days and you already dare to dislike your mom, huh? When you were nursing, you slobbered all over me and did all sorts of things. Did I ever dislike you? I’m going to slobber, I just am!" With that, she went over and rubbed her mouth on his face a few times.

Qi Xiaoqi couldn’t help but burst into laughter at the ticklish sensation and then tried to act like a little grown-up, saying, "You’re childish!"

Cheng Su glared at him, "Childish huh? Who taught you that?" then looked at Father Qi: "Grandpa, has he been well-behaved these past few days, or has he been mischievous?"

"Well-behaved, the most well-behaved, not a bit naughty." Father Qi defended his grandson wholeheartedly: "He just watched TV, didn’t go out to play or run around. We had such an easy time with him! He was just asleep and probably woke up knowing you returned. Mother and son are truly connected."

At this moment, Mother Qi came out of the kitchen. On seeing her, Qi Xiaoqi’s eyes lit up and he squeakily ’reported’ to Cheng Su, "Mommy, grandma gave me some Divine Talisman Water to drink."

Upon hearing this, the expressions on both Father Qi and Mother Qi’s faces changed dramatically, especially Mother Qi, who went pale and looked at Cheng Su with a bit of fear.
