Daniel enters a hidden, serene forest realm through a massive gate, despite Serys's worries. He meets the ancient founder of the magic tower, who reveals his plan to use Lioran as a vessel to achieve the true peak of magic. The founder admits to his obsession and the difficulty of his original goal thousands of years ago. He then considers Daniel's body as a more suitable vessel, but acknowledges the Demi-God auras surrounding him. Daniel, having no intention to fight, reveals he came to make an offer.

Daniel stared in silence at the white curtain of the waterfall for a few moments.

The sound of water striking ancient rocks was the only sound flowing through that mysterious realm, as if time had stopped at this very point thousands of years ago and had never decided to move again.

The founder, without any hurry, took the teacup between his hands and kept his calm gaze fixed on Daniel, as if thinking to himself.

But no one knew what he was thinking about. Was he assessing Daniel? His proposal? And whether it was even worth listening to?

He could somewhat guess where this proposal was heading, but he decided to listen anyway. A faint smile settled on his lips.

"You said... you have a proposal. I’m listening."

Daniel took a quiet, deep breath. This was the moment he had come all the way to the tower’s depths for.

"Set Lioran aside."

Silence filled the space. His sudden words were unexpected, and even the sound of the waterfall seemed to recede for a moment.

Daniel, without taking his gaze off the old man’s eyes, continued:

"I’ll find you a better body."

The founder’s eyebrow rose slightly. Not from anger, but from genuine surprise. Was this boy truly a fool? Did he think he could find a better body for him?

If it were that easy, he would have found thousands of bodies by now...

But in all these thousands of years, he had only been able to find fewer than five bodies, and among all of them, Lioran’s body was the most compatible.

He looked at Daniel for a few seconds, as if wanting to make sure this young man had truly said that sentence.

Then, slowly, he placed the cup on the stone table beside him.

"Interesting. I expected many things, and I expected this proposal too. But I didn’t think you’d be foolish enough to actually say it."

Daniel shrugged indifferently.

"Lioran isn’t complete yet. His body is years away from reaching an ideal state. But the world... is much larger than the magic tower." His gaze fixed on the distance.

"In this world, there are races, realms, and beings whose names haven’t even reached most mages. I’m sure a more suitable body can be found."

Then he looked back at the founder.

"If you’re just looking for a vessel, I’ll find one for you. In return, Serys must become the heir." Of course, whether he would actually find a body or not was itself an important question.

He didn’t really have such a plan. His main goal was to buy time, enough time to deal with this Demi-God quietly.

The old man’s smile slowly deepened. A few seconds later, a short but loud laugh echoed through the temple’s space.

His laughter mixed with the waterfall’s echo and momentarily broke the calm atmosphere around them.

"You’re mistaken. I didn’t choose Lioran just for his body." He rose from his seat.

He walked slowly beside the waterfall, as if each step was reviewing a thousand-year-old memory.

"Since childhood, I’ve watched over him. Shaped his personality. Guided his mind. Tested his soul."

"And it took years to be sure he would be compatible with my Divinity."

"Do you think it was a coincidence that the Lionhearts brought him to the Central Magic Tower? Of course not. All of this was my plan."

For a moment, he looked at the gentle flow of the water.

"A suitable body... might be found again. But Lioran is flawless..." He shook his head slowly.

"He’s not something that appears once every hundred years."

Daniel listened without any change in his expression.

Now, better than ever, he could understand this being’s thousand-year obsession. For him, Lioran was not a human. He was a project.

A project that had taken a thousand years of effort.

And he hadn’t expected this old man to have been watching over Lioran since the day he was born.

So Lioran had been chosen as a vessel from the very first day he was born? What a tragic fate.

Daniel suddenly broke the silence.

"A question. If Lioran finds out that after reaching his peak, he’s going to cease to exist and give his place to you..." His voice was completely calm.

But every word sank like an invisible blade into the heart of the thousand-year plan.

"Would he still follow you?" There was a hint of mockery in his tone.

He had many ways to disrupt this old man’s plan, and this was one of the easiest.

Lioran had a vengeful personality. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have tried to take revenge by killing all those professors and the tower leader’s daughter. He had just hidden this personality well.

If that boy found out that all these years he had been raised like a sheep to be used when the time came... his reaction would certainly be interesting.

Silence filled the space. This was a question the founder hadn’t expected.

A few seconds...

Ten seconds...

Twenty seconds...

Then the old man answered quietly.

"...He doesn’t need to find out." His answer was simple, but its delay was exactly what Daniel had been waiting for.

"So you yourself know that if he learns the truth, your thousand-year plan will fall apart."

This time, the old man said nothing. He just kept his gaze fixed on Daniel. A hidden killing intent was forming in the founder’s eyes.

He even thought to himself whether he should kill him. If he killed him right here, all his plans would continue without issue.

But killing him might also be troublesome...

"As I said, I don’t want to be your enemy. My proposal still stands. I’ll raise a better body for you."

"No matter what you do, it won’t work. No body will be as suitable as Lioran’s." The founder laughed slowly.

Daniel just quietly raised his right hand.

"Are you sure?"

The old man frowned very slightly. At that moment... the temple’s space trembled.

Not from mana, not from magical pressure, but from a concept that even mana knelt before.

From between Daniel’s fingers, a thin strand of golden-silver light emerged; a light that neither burned nor shone, but seemed to display the very concept of eternity itself.

The Law of Eternity.

Only a very small fragment of it.

But that small fragment was enough to change the air around them. The plants beside the waterfall involuntarily began to bloom.

The water droplets paused in the air for a moment.

Even the ancient runes carved on the temple’s columns lit up one after another, as if recognizing a very ancient being.

Daniel said quietly:

"What if I bathe your future vessel in the Law of Eternity? Would you still think Lioran is the best option?"

All the calmness on the founder’s face crumbled.

The old man’s eyes widened in disbelief. He unconsciously stepped forward, his gaze unable to leave that strand of light.

In all his thousands of years of life... he had never seen such purity.

This was no longer just the power of eternity. It was as if the very source of eternity had appeared before him for a moment.

His lips moved quietly. This time, not with pride, not with calmness, but with real astonishment that he hadn’t experienced in a thousand years.

"...This... how..." His eyes locked onto Daniel.

"How do you possess such power?"
