Over three weeks, Daniel's orders propelled preparations for his ascension as leader, with elders and the Dragon Empress disseminating prophecies and revelations that shifted the dragons' initial shock into fervent excitement. Statues of him rose across Dragon Valley, captivating the proud race long isolated from the world. On the gathering day, tens of thousands assembled on the grand platform as the sky tore open, and Daniel descended in divine splendor, his resonant words rallying the dragons to roar in unity, heralding their return to glory.

"Better than I expected," Daniel whispered, lowering himself gradually onto his throne within the grand central palace.

The elders all knelt in deep reverence before him, with Evangelin positioned at his side just as always. Their eyes burned with intense devotion and admiration.

Daniel permitted them to stand and relax. They complied, rising to their feet with measured movements.

"Your Majesty, with your official ascension as the ruler over every dragon, shall we launch the second stage of our strategies?" the First Elder advanced and inquired.

"Indeed, the moment has arrived. Dispatch a contingent of dragons alongside Lady Evangelin to restore the Religion of Eternity. Let them manage those affairs."

"Additionally, send another team into the world's profound depths, to the location I mentioned earlier. Locate that person," Daniel affirmed with a nod.

"As you command, Your Majesty. We shall execute your directives without delay," the elders responded in unison with utmost respect.

"In the three weeks of my absence, did any incidents occur?" Daniel shifted the discussion and questioned.

"No issues arose. Per your instructions, operations proceeded unchanged. Beyond disseminating the rumors and stories, we took no further actions," Nyxara moved ahead this time to reply.

"Excellent. So no matters demand my immediate oversight?"

"No situations call for your personal intervention. Yet, over these three weeks of your seclusion, certain clashes have erupted."

"Is that so? Elaborate."

"The demons have unleashed total war upon humanity. The frontier areas have utterly crumbled and surrendered to the demons, who now press onward," Nyxara offered a concise account.

Daniel's brow creased. He hadn't anticipated this development quite so abruptly. Though he foresaw it as inevitable—particularly following the slaying of the Demon King's offspring by a human—he never imagined it striking this swiftly, or the Demon King possessing the audacity for such a move.

"Must we step in?" the First Elder queried. He recognized that their sovereign once belonged to the human fold and might retain sentimental bonds to his origins.

"Actually, this presents the perfect chance for the Religion of Eternity's resurgence," Daniel mused reflectively. The longstanding enmity between the Religion of Eternity and the demons stood as common knowledge.

Should the Religion of Eternity emerge to repel the demons, retaking the border zones and every seized territory, it would garner them vast renown and widespread acclaim.

One could rightly claim that many of the rescued humans would pledge allegiance to the Religion of Eternity.

He cast a brief glance toward Evangelin. Though merely a look, it seemed she discerned his full intentions from his gaze and gave an affirming nod.

"I’ll manage it and resolve the issue," she declared.

"Any other matters?" Daniel offered a faint grin and redirected his focus to the elders.

"Perhaps devote additional moments with the dragons? They require closer acquaintance with their sovereign to forge stronger bonds," the Third Elder proposed.

This idea prompted their leader to ponder. It held merit, yet currently, his schedule left no room. The heir-proclamation rite for the Goblin Guild loomed near, demanding his presence.

Moreover, he intended to tackle the Tower's fourth level, while also overseeing the Religion of Eternity's reconstruction. Beyond that, a journey to the central continent awaited.

Duties piled high. Still, guiding the dragon kin outweighed them all.

Luckily, his bodily attendance wasn't essential here. A mere clone would suffice.

"I agree. I ought to deliver sermons directly to the dragons," he ultimately endorsed the proposal, detailing his intent to employ a clone.

The Third Elder beamed. Daniel's swift elevation to command had caught them off guard, leaving no one fully ready. Initially, they feared disruptions or that this figure might outshine their own arrogance, stirring discord.

Yet, across these three weeks and through his directives, their doubts dissolved. Furthermore, today's stirring address had secured him immense favor among the dragons.

"When might you depart these lands, Your Majesty?" Nyxara inquired.

"Tomorrow. For now, I wish to encounter that uncle," Daniel answered.

"If no further inquiries remain, you are free to go," he announced.

Prior to departing, the elders offered one final bow. Once gone, the palace fell into quietude, broken only by Evangelin's voice.

"You performed better than I anticipated."

"I’ve governed a mighty nation in the past," Daniel chuckled with a touch of irony. He spoke truthfully. In his prior existence, he had indeed ruled a realm.

To some extent, he grasped the art of wielding power over a land. Naturally, he now confronted the mightiest lineage instead of a mundane state, but his accumulated wisdom and insight remained ample.

Furthermore, the dragons already possessed an established hierarchy. His appointment as leader hadn't upheaved their inner governance. He merely altered their key outward approaches.

For millennia, bound by the Goddess's ancient decrees, the dragons had clung to seclusion and obscurity from the world. Daniel sensed widespread discontent among them with this stance. After all, they embodied a haughty, combative people, far from serene or harmonious.

Had he confirmed their preference for tranquility over power and worldly engagement, he wouldn't have overhauled their directions so hastily. Instead, he would have proceeded with caution, subtly shaping their views over time.

"I assume you intend to head back to your original realm tomorrow," Evangelin acknowledged with a nod, steering the conversation elsewhere.

"Correct. Urgent affairs in my realm require my attention. I suspect my return here won't come soon," Daniel hesitated momentarily before responding.

For reasons unclear, his instincts warned of looming upheavals at the Goblin Guild's ceremony—cataclysms poised to engulf the nation in turmoil.

"Then this marks our farewell for the present," Evangelin stated. Her voice held its usual detachment, yet subtle feelings lurked beneath, ones she might not even acknowledge herself.

"My gratitude for your aid. Your guidance made this possible. As promised, I'll furnish you with sufficient Fallens."

"A dragon squadron will accompany you too. Their support should ease the Religion of Eternity's revival. Above all, your leadership ensures success. I foresee no obstacles with you there. Should assistance be needed, reach me via the talisman whenever," Daniel remarked with a gentle smile.

"I ought to express my thanks to you..." Evangelin appeared poised to elaborate, but ultimately fell quiet and departed wordlessly.

Daniel watched her retreating form. Upon her exit, he vanished from his throne in an instant.

Instantly thereafter, he materialized at Dragon Valley's most profound and timeless core, the dimension's very heart.

And the domain of that False God.
