As Aizen in Naruto and Joined a Chat Group Chapter 576: Law Fusion

Lin Fengjiao: That does make it add up, but would Thanos really move against Asgard? Odin’s power should be no weaker than his, no?
Skirt-Flipping Maniac: No weaker, sure, but the question is how much longer Odin has left to live? And Thanos’s power is still growing all the while. He’s out collecting the Infinity Stones across the universe.
Soul Society’s Villain: That’s true. With the boost from the Infinity Stones, I’m afraid Odin would be no match for him.
Foul-Mouthed Mask Guy: Enough! You’ve all said quite enough! Not one shred of acknowledgment for your Uncle in this entire discussion. I am wounded.
Wounded might be overstating it, but annoyed? Absolutely.
Deadpool had brought the whole thing up in the group purely to show off and flaunt, only to discover that none of it had anything to do with him at all. The reason Loki had decided to stay was nothing more than his own scheming.
That damned alien prince!
Watching Loki settle leisurely onto the tractor, Deadpool seethed inside. Decision made: tonight, millet porridge for dinner again!
And not only that, he’d bring a couple of girls back to have some fun! In the room right next to Loki’s, just to piss the bastard off!
Curly-haired Guy: Don’t panic. Getting hurt is something you get used to. It’s all part of growing up as a human being. If you really can’t stand it, you could always dab on some essential balm to recover.
Having finally caught a chance to take a bite out of Deadpool, how could Sakata Gintoki possibly let it pass? So he bit down without the slightest mercy, his words dripping with malice.
Lazy Kitten: "Dab on some essential balm to recover," dear god, are you a demon?!
Machete Girl: I think even a demon would be more merciful than Gintoki, the man who said that.
Katsura Kotonoha knew exactly what essential balm was. Qi Luoli had once uploaded a photo of it back when she first joined the group, along with instructions for its use.
Back then, Katsura Kotonoha, hoping to ward off mosquito bites, had foolishly smeared the stuff all over her body. Even now, the memory of that sensation made her shudder.
Just as she was reminiscing about her own youthful naivety, a strange object suddenly caught her eye. "Hm? That’s..." Walking over, she picked the object up, and only then saw that it looked something like a gasoline canister.
Unlike an ordinary gas can, however, its surface was covered in all manner of strange engravings and little contraptions. It gave off quite a black-tech sort of feel.
"It’s equipment from those Temple people." Janet strolled over and glanced at the canister in Kotonoha’s hands. "These fellows, up even earlier than us, apparently!"
"You’ve got some nerve saying that." Black lines crowded Katsura Kotonoha’s forehead. This girl had slept a full twelve hours, and she hadn’t been able to drag herself awake in the morning besides.
"Ahem. But if they’d leave equipment this important behind... I’m afraid something must have happened to them." Janet coughed drily, steering the topic away.
Katsura Kotonoha didn’t press the humiliation further. She lowered her head and picked up a leaf stained with blood. Another hundred meters forward, and collapsed grass and snapped tree trunks became clearly visible all around. "Looks like they were ambushed. But why are there no bodies?"
"If I’m not mistaken, it was those giant serpents." Janet’s expression turned grave.
She thought back on the terrifying serpents she had encountered once before. Those monsters never left bodies behind, after all, they swallowed their victims whole.
"Really? Then it seems we’re almost there." Katsura Kotonoha tossed the canister back onto the ground and pressed on.
Curly-haired Guy: Hey, hey, quit joking, will you? How could this Gin-san possibly be a demon? The only ones in this group who measure up to demon standards are you rotten women!
Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Painting everyone with the same brush again?
Amegakure Village’s Angel: Dear, he called me smelly! @This is an Actor
Curly-haired Guy: No, wait! I didn’t mean you! How could our goddess Konan possibly be smelly, the smelly one is clearly somebody else!
Lazy Kitten: Pfft, and that might be the strongest survival instinct we’ve seen yet.
Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Congratulations to Konan-nee-san on mastering a brand-new way of dealing with Gin-san. The technique is known as: calling for backup!
Curly-haired Guy: Oh, knock it off, this is NOT some new technique! It’s been done before, okay? Will you think for a second, you!
Machete Girl: New or not doesn’t matter, as long as it works on you.
Curly-haired Guy: Damn it, don’t get smug!
Wig Guy: Gintoki, you really shouldn’t be so rude to the ladies of this group. When you’ve made a mistake, you should correct it.
Curly-haired Guy: Correct this, you jerk, now shut your mouth! Still haven’t landed that Prime Minister seat yet, huh, you bastard? With all this time you waste goofing off in the group, you should be out working!
Doujin Artist: "Let him go to work," he says. And what about you?
Curly-haired Guy: This Gin-san is a coordinator! The whole future planning of this world rests on me.
Doujin Artist: Planning my foot. At the end of the day, isn’t that just idling about?
Curly-haired Guy: Who are you calling idle, you bastard! This Gin-san still puts in long hours every single day, all right? The pachinko parlor owner will vouch for me!
Machete Girl: Pachinko. Of all things. You are truly beyond saving.
Pachinko, for the uninitiated, was gambling with little steel balls, the great love of middle-aged men. A man who spent every waking hour on pachinko, and he had the gall to call himself a coordinator?
Doujin Artist: I used to think Gintoki was just an ordinary layabout, but now I see how wrong I was. This guy is hopeless-lazy, complete and total.
This is an Actor: Only now figuring that out? A bit late, isn’t it?
As his message went out, Gerard was standing alone at the center of the Tower of Paradise’s magic circle. Spheres of law, each radiating strange brilliance, now floated behind his head.
With a thought from Gerard, a bed of white jade abruptly materialized at the center of the circle. He climbed onto the bed and lay down, eyes closing.
He needed the Hogwarts holidays to carry out his breakthrough stage of law fusion, during which his body and soul would fall completely into slumber.
And since Luna would also be away for the holidays, traveling to Greece with her father, Gerard sleeping here in the Tower of Paradise had no need to worry about anyone barging in.
Besides, though his soul would sink into slumber, his consciousness would remain active. It wouldn’t keep him from lounging in the group chat, nor from using his magic phone to stay in touch with Hermione.
After all, his magic phone was stored within his sea of consciousness.
Gerard had never told anyone that the magic phone’s design was, in truth, modeled on the group chat. But his power over laws wasn’t yet refined enough to reproduce the group chat’s various miraculous functions.
Of course.
Even if he could someday replicate the group chat in full, he had no intention of letting it come into existence. One group chat was enough; more than that would be pointless.
Besides, the day he could replicate the group chat would also be the day he could seize ownership of the group’s authority for himself.
