"I see. Well then," Hermione stood up, clearly a little unhappy. She bowed to Zickrein, "See you tomorrow, Professor Zickrein." Then she turned and left, carrying her notebook.

"Oh my, she didn’t say that to me," Luna said meaningfully, watching Hermione’s retreating back. "Does that mean she doesn’t want to see me tomorrow?"

"I think you’re overthinking it," Zickrein said expressionlessly, continuing with his work.

"Ha, aren’t you worried, Lord Demon?" Luna walked over to him and sat on the desk. "Your good student might get hurt."

"It’s her own choice," Zickrein paused, then said, "And I don’t believe there’s anything there that could hurt her."

"That house-elf king, so he’s one of yours after all," Luna suddenly understood the implication of his words and smiled, "Of course. Besides you, who else could command house-elves who can rival Dumbledore?"

Zickrein stopped what he was doing but said nothing.

"This wizarding world really needs to change," Luna looked towards the window on the side and said softly, "After a thousand years, it still looks the same."

This was Luna’s personal experience, and with Rowena Ravenclaw’s memories, she was sure that the wizarding world hadn’t had any truly progressive changes.

Many things had just changed their appearance, but the old-fashioned operating system remained.
