The group chat members bicker about who makes a better villain and mock Deadpool's love life. Meanwhile, the Doujin Artist announces that Ruiko has created chaos in the capital, prompting her to prepare for action while others discuss potential introductions for Deadpool.

Doujin Artist: Huh? You didn’t show up?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Yeah, you mentioned it would take half an hour. It’s only been ten minutes. I’m still getting dressed. Look, this is what I was gonna wear. [Picture]

The image Ruiko shared featured a black trench coat accompanied by a red-patterned fox mask.

Curly-haired Guy: Hey, hey, you think wearing that gives off villain vibes? If that’s your plan, I gotta say you’re pretty naive. Really, extremely naive!

Foul-Mouthed Mask Guy: Exactly, so naive you’re annoying! A fox face just doesn’t cut it. You need something more menacing! Something that instills fear just by looking at it!

Machete Girl: Maybe try sticking Deadpool’s face onto the mask? That would scare anyone, wouldn’t it?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Pfft, actually sticking a face onto a mask.

Lazy Kitten: You’re a true creative genius, Kotonoha. No regular carbon-based organism would ever conceive of such an idea.

Qi Luoli had heard of human skin masks and cosmetic face alterations. However, the notion of attaching a face onto a mask was utterly novel to her. In a way, Katsura Kotonoha’s thought processes might very well rival those of certain inventors.

Amegakure Village’s Angel: I actually think the fox mask isn’t a bad choice. Ruiko’s primary aim is simply to conceal her youthful appearance, not necessarily to project a villainous aura. Regardless of the vibe, the rulers will perceive her actions as villainous anyway.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Right, that’s precisely my reasoning. We’re targeting the corrupt rulers. So, as long as the rulers deem me a villain, our objective is met. This is primarily a strategic propaganda move.

Lin Fengjiao: It’s good you weren’t swayed by Gin and Deadpool.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Ha ha, I wouldn’t get sidetracked by them. I generally only heed about twenty percent of their advice. And I’m selective, because most of it lacks practical value.

Curly-haired Guy: Hey, what’s that supposed to mean? Is the other eighty percent of what Gin-san says just garbage?

Foul-Mouthed Mask Guy: That’s incredibly harsh! Damn, that’s just too much!

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: If it were merely nonsense, that would be manageable. The crucial point is that what you utter isn’t just nonsense; it’s utter rubbish. I believe anyone with a modicum of intelligence wouldn’t pay heed to such rubbish.

Foul-Mouthed Mask Guy: Hey, that’s an exaggeration, pal. My backside can’t talk; it only poops!

Machete Girl: That doesn’t preclude the possibility that what exits your mouth is indeed rubbish. Also, Ruiko, isn’t that trench coat a bit too large? It doesn’t seem to suit your frame.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Trench coats are meant to be a bit oversized, aren’t they? If it were too small, wouldn’t it restrict movement? Plus, it’s still autumn where Eriri is. I intend to wear more layers underneath.

Lazy Kitten: Feeling the cold? Just circulate your Nine Yang True Qi a few more times. That should definitely warm you up.

Doujin Artist: It’s actually not that chilly. I’m only wearing a single layer.

This is an Actor: Aren’t we getting sidetracked from the main topic with all this chatting?

Doujin Artist: The topic? Oh, indeed! Damn, you pulled me off track! Since Ruiko isn’t present, what’s the situation on my end? [Picture]

In the photograph Eriri shared, a brilliant golden light could be clearly observed flashing in the distance along the coastline. The azure ocean waters churned intensely beneath this golden radiance, presenting a rather astonishing spectacle.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: ? What is this situation?

Lin Fengjiao: From a visual perspective, it appears quite auspicious. However, within a world like yours, such a circumstance is likely far from auspicious.

Lazy Kitten: Could it be that a formidable beast is on the verge of manifesting?

Doujin Artist: I’m heading over there now. I hope I can manage.

Eriri propelled herself across the waves, her body moving at high speed towards the location where the golden light emanated. Yet, as she approached, she discovered that several warships had already established a tight blockade, completely encircling the area illuminated by the golden glow.

The Northern Sea Fleet?

Eriri ceased her advance, her brow furrowed beneath her cloak. The designation 'Northern Sea Fleet' was specific to their island nation. In actuality, this fleet belonged to America.

Its official title was the U.S. Island Garrison Fourth Fleet, comprising four destroyers and six cruisers. This fleet was typically stationed in the northern sector of Tokyo Bay, but today it had unexpectedly appeared near the offshore vicinity.

So, the higher authorities had also taken notice of this golden luminescence and reported it to their American benefactors? Hah, truly loyal subjects!

Eriri displayed an expression of feigned gratitude, refraining from any impulsive actions.

She harbored resentment towards the conduct of these U.S. troops operating with impunity in her homeland. With her capabilities, dismantling this fleet would be a simple matter. However, she was currently committed to maintaining her heroic persona, thus she could not act recklessly.

Any rash actions against "friendly nation forces" would undoubtedly tarnish the image she had so carefully cultivated recently. For the sake of their mission, she had to exercise restraint for the time being.

Drawing a deep breath, Eriri snapped a picture and dispatched it to the group chat: I suspect this resembles some sort of gateway? Akin to a void of some sort?

This is an Actor: It does bear a resemblance.

Lazy Kitten: Ah, so after all this build-up, it’s an extraterrestrial invasion? Our already struggling Earth faces further hardship?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Are we fast-forwarding to a scenario where the Celestial Council assumes dominion over the planet?

Amegakure Village’s Angel: Gin-san possesses insight into such matters.

Doujin Artist: Nay, I perceive it as slightly divergent from a typical alien incursion. The intricate patterns adorning that aperture exude a fantastical aura. It appears to be a mystical formation?

Roar.

Immediately following her declaration, from the heavens where the golden luminescence had flared, a formidable roar abruptly echoed. Swiftly, a colossal, savage, and grotesque head penetrated the golden conduit, entering Eriri’s field of vision.

Could it be a dragon?

Eriri stood dumbfounded, her visage etched with sheer astonishment. That head bore a reptilian likeness, yet sported a pair of gracefully curved horns. The edges of its maw were adorned with sharp spikes, mirroring precisely the portrayal of a Western dragon in popular media.

The dragon’s head emerged entirely from the passage, revealing its substantial body.

Its entire form was sheathed in gleaming crimson scales, and a pair of vast, bat-like wings unfurled, beating gently. The sea’s surface itself seemed buffeted by a tempest, its waters churning and receding outwards on either flank.

What truly left Eriri speechless was the sight of a human figure actually perched upon the dragon’s broad back?!
