Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy Chapter 1322: Vale’s Rewards

Cecilia’s announcement didn’t dampen the atmosphere in the room. Instead, it made the five leaders exchange glances, and before long, smiles began to spread across their faces.
A war against the Knights of several nations was certainly something worth taking seriously, but none of them seemed particularly worried. After all, they had known from the beginning that their mission in the Valor Realm would eventually attract attention. The Dark Arts Tower’s appearance had merely accelerated the process.
More importantly, Lisa had already begun making her move.
"The fact that Miss Immortal Lisa has started acting openly means it shouldn’t be long before another Immortal can pass through the portal," Darlene remarked, stroking the black snake coiled around her arm.
Jericho nodded. "Although I doubt it’ll be Shadow Immortal Vale himself. The portal is still too dangerous, and sending someone of his level here would be an unnecessary risk."
"Agreed," Ruth replied. "Lisa was chosen precisely because of her unique ability to revive from even a drop of her Blood Essence. Even if something went wrong during the transfer, she would have a chance to survive."
That was one of the main reasons Lisa had been selected as the first Immortal to enter the Valor Realm. Her extraordinary ability to resurrect made her far more suitable for such a dangerous mission than most other powerful beings.
Cielo rested her chin on one hand, considering the possibilities.
"If Lord Vale decides to send someone else, who do you think it’ll be? One of the Angels? An Asura? Or perhaps one of the Demon Saints under his command?"
"Personally, I’d prefer an Asura," Jericho answered without hesitation. "They tend to be straightforward. At least we’d know what to expect."
Cecilia chuckled. "You say that as if an Asura wouldn’t cause trouble the moment they arrived. Sreas wouldn’t sit still, unlike Miss Lisa."
"Well, compared to a Demon Saint, I’d still take my chances."
"You’re forgetting the Angels," Darlene pointed out. "Just because they’re called Angels doesn’t mean they’ll be easier to deal with."
Their conversation continued as they speculated about who might be sent next. None of them knew what Vale had planned, but they understood that Lisa’s arrival had marked a turning point in their mission.
They had been sent to the Valor Realm as the vanguard, tasked with establishing a foothold before the arrival of more powerful allies. At the time, the realm had been unfamiliar territory filled with uncertain threats, limited resources, and people who knew nothing about the forces they represented.
Now, the situation was entirely different.
The Dawnblades had grown into a powerful organization with hundreds of Arcanists under its banner. They had established influence throughout Atrium City, developed a functioning training system for the twelve Arcane Paths, and secured resources that would help them continue expanding their strength.
Lisa had also arrived safely and claimed the Dark Arts Tower, giving their side a powerful stronghold and an army of Shadow Sentinels.
Their mission as the vanguard was approaching its conclusion.
Naturally, they were pleased with the results.
"We’ve done pretty well, haven’t we?" Cecilia said, leaning back in her chair. "When I think about how much we’ve accomplished since arriving here, I almost feel like we deserve a vacation."
"A vacation?" Cielo raised an eyebrow. "We haven’t even finished dealing with the current situation."
"Which is exactly why I’m thinking about the reward we’ll receive after everything is settled."
That prompted Ruth to smile.
"Speaking of rewards, what do you think we should ask from Lord Vale when we report our success?"
The question immediately caught everyone’s attention.
Jericho straightened in his chair, while Cecilia’s eyes brightened. Even Darlene stopped stroking the black snake for a moment.
"Now that’s something worth discussing," Jericho said.
"Naturally," Ruth replied. "We’ve established a foothold in the Valor Realm, recruited hundreds of Arcanists, and prepared the groundwork for the next stage of our mission. I think we’ve earned the right to ask for something worthwhile."
Cecilia was the first to speak.
"I want more resources for Summoning Arts. If we could obtain rare summoning materials or access to stronger entities, our students could advance much faster."
"That’s reasonable," Ruth said, turning toward Cielo.
"I’d like access to more advanced Psychic Arts techniques," Cielo answered. "We’ve barely scratched the surface of what’s possible. If Vale has knowledge that isn’t available in this realm, I want to study it."
Darlene considered the question before replying. "I’d prefer rare materials and advanced techniques related to Transformation Arts. There may be methods of adapting the body that we haven’t even imagined yet."
Jericho grinned. "I’ll ask for something that can make me stronger. A powerful artifact, perhaps, or a technique that can improve my Arcane Infusion."
All eyes eventually turned toward Ruth.
She tapped her fingers against the table, thinking carefully.
"Personally, I’d like to ask for resources that can benefit the entire Dawnblades organization. We have four hundred Arcanists now, and that number will continue to grow. If we can obtain more advanced knowledge, training resources, and suitable artifacts, we’ll be able to help everyone progress faster."
She paused before adding, "Of course, we should also consider asking for something that would make our position in the Valor Realm more secure."
The others nodded. Their individual ambitions mattered, but they all understood that strengthening the Dawnblades would benefit them in the long run.
For a group that had been sent to establish a foothold in an unfamiliar realm, they had achieved far more than they had initially expected.
And now, with Lisa already making her moves and the portal gradually approaching the point where it could support another arrival, the next stage of their mission was drawing closer.

While the five leaders of the Dawnblades were happily discussing the rewards they intended to request from Shadow Immortal Vale, the Immortal himself was sitting in his castle, completely unaware of their conversation.
Unlike the lively atmosphere in Atrium City, the castle was unusually quiet.
The transfer of Lisa had been successful, and according to the latest updates he received, she had already established herself within the Dark Arts Tower. With her abilities and the resources available to her, it was only a matter of time before she strengthened their foothold in that realm.
However, Vale wasn’t entirely focused on the Valor Realm.
There were other matters that required his attention, particularly the activities of the Chaos Arts Practitioners.
