Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy Chapter 1268: The Masterplan

Vale’s mind was already set.
He would send disciples into the Valor Realm... but he recalled something and shook his head.
he reminded himself.
They needed refinement, discipline, and preparation before stepping into a realm that would test their foundations. Rushing them would only waste the opportunity.
For now, he decided to remain in the city. Sabrina was powerful, a Sky Immortal or perhaps higher, and Vale knew better than to trust her completely.
He would guard her movements, ensure she did not attempt anything "naughty" that could destabilize the balance.
Of course, this Vale was only a clone.
At this time, Vale had created twenty Avatars of himself.
Each one carried a fragment of his soul, weakening his true body but granting him omnipresence.
With them, he could be anywhere he wished... in the city, in his castle, or even watching the skies.

Far away, in the underground base beneath his castle, another Avatar descended into the chamber where Cyper, Liora, and Elysia... The three Time Manipulators awaited him.
They greeted him with respect, as though he were the true Vale.
They never treated his Avatars as lesser.
"Master," Cyper bowed. "The portal continues to stabilize."
Vale’s eyes fell upon the gate. It glowed faintly, a half‑formed path into Valor.
Well, the Will of the Realm resisted fiercely, pressing against intruders.
At this stage, no high‑level Arcanist could enter without their bodies being shredded. Even an Immortal like him would suffer grievous injury.
That was the law of realms... Higher beings carried imprints of their current world, and the Valor Realm rejected them violently.
But for young disciples, still building their foundations, the rejection was weaker.
They could endure. That was why Vale had accepted so many disciples. He planned to send them all into Valor eventually, though the process would be long. For now, he would begin with three.
He turned to the Time Manipulators. "Report. What have you discovered in Valor?"
Cyper stepped forward first. "The kingdoms remain fractured. Mortals fight petty wars with iron and steel. Their magic is crude, it’s more like a superstition than a system. But we have identified bloodlines with stronger affinities. If nurtured, they could become allies or threats."
"That’s right..."
Liora added, her voice calm. "The land is fertile. Forests and rivers are abundant... There are also veins of crystal and metal running beneath the soil. Mystical beasts roam freely, alongside common animals. It is a realm rich in resources, Master."
Elysia’s gaze was sharp. "But the Will of Valor is still vigilant of our bodies..."
She added with a sigh.
"Temporal bodies last only thirty minutes before rejection. We have tested incursions daily, gathering information slowly. It will take at least five years to stabilize a permanent path where First-Class Arcanists could enter without dying."
Vale listened and nodded. "So how about threats?"
Cyper shook his head. "No Immortal presence. No higher realm invasion. Only local wars between kingdoms. For now, the realm is untouched."
Vale gently nodded.
He clapped his hands and smiled. "Good. Continue your incursions. I will send disciples soon, but not yet. They require three more months of training before they are ready. When the time comes, three will enter first. They will establish the foundation."
The three Time Manipulators bowed deeply. "As you command, Master."
Vale’s Avatar lingered, watching the unstable gate. The Valor Realm was so close, yet so far.

Meanwhile, as the academies returned to their lands from the international competition aboard their airships, another Avatar of Vale arrived quietly at Lovell Academy of Beast Arts.
Vale’s plan was simple but audacious... He intended to recruit nearly all the prodigies who had caught his eye during the tournament.
The competition had revealed talents hidden across the academies, and Vale was not about to let them slip away.
His first target was Siera, a young Beast Arts prodigy.
She bore numerous mythical beast tattoo marks across her body... the Griffin, granting her flight.
There was also the Leviathan mark, allowing her to survive and thrive in water, and several others that lent her strength, speed, and toughness.
Each tattoo was more than a mark, it was connected to the beast’s essence, enabling her to borrow their power.
Vale remembered how she had fought. Though she had been unlucky... Well, because of the Cult’s sudden attack on the city, her chance to showcase her full strength had been disrupted.
Still, Vale had seen enough. Her potential was terrifying, a warrior who could dominate both sky and sea.
Three days later, the Avatar approached her quarters...
His presence cloaked in shadow. He did not need to speak loudly... His aura alone commanded attention.
After a bit of a surprise, Vale calmed her down as he apologized and introduced himself. After realizing who he was, Siera finally felt relieved.
Apparently, Vale didn’t want to be caught poaching students.
"Siera," he said calmly, "your talents are wasted here. I offer you a path greater than Lovell Academy..."
He didn’t say much. Vale was an immortal, and she had seen the students of the Academy. She knew better.
Siera’s eyes widened. She obviously knew him. He was Vale, the Immortal who had guided Ruth to victory. To be chosen by him was no small honor.
After she confirmed that Vale would also reward her with Divinity Crystals and other things, she immediately nodded.
"Please handle my transfer, Sir Immortal. I don’t think I can face the Headmaster." She requested.
"I’ll take care of it." Vale replied.
Of course, Vale’s ambitions did not end with her. He had already dispatched agents to other academies, each tasked with approaching prodigies who had impressed him.
Thalos, from Adaereth Academy of Rune Arts, a genius who had created original runes of his own... something unheard of among students.
There was also Laethorn from Rakmiths Academy of Elemental Arts. He could summon Lava Spirit, a rare elemental affinity that allowed him to merge fire and earth into molten destruction...
And many more students, scattered across the continent, all had gifts that could make his Academy truly the best in the world.
Vale’s vision was clear... These prodigies would not remain bound to their academies. They would become his disciples, trained, refined, and eventually, if they passed his tests, they could be sent into the Valor Realm to establish his foundation!
