Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy Chapter 1235: The New Realm
Previously on Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy...
As Vale and his companions aided Marshall Academy in its growth to set the global benchmark for training Arcanists, the trio of Time Manipulators pressed on with their mission, aiming to elevate their Realm's standing and fulfill the qualities the Will of the Realm required for birthing Divinity.
This undertaking proved immensely challenging, and truthfully, Vale harbored no hopes of swift progress in this endeavor...
He remained untroubled by the prospect of enduring decades to see it through.
Yet, he had overlooked the wealth of knowledge the Time Manipulators possessed from their days in the faction, serving under the Timeless King.
Naturally, Cyper and his allies anticipated a lengthy wait for outcomes. Their astonishment was profound upon realizing they had triumphed!
'We've truly accomplished it...' Cyper whispered.
They had just verified the presence of humans in this place... Moreover, magic lingered, albeit weak and raw. It represented a domain brimming with untapped promise, free from the touch of other Immortal Beings!
'This is the one,' Liora murmured...
'A lower realm, free from invasion, harboring humans and magic. Ideal.'
Cyper's sturdy frame eased...
A uncommon grin spread across his features. 'Shall we give it a name of our own?' Cyper inquired.
Liora inclined her head. 'You supplied this coordinate from the obscured archives... It's without a title, absent even from the Time Faction's logs... Would you like to dub it Cyper?'
'That feels unsuitable.' Cyper declined with a shake of his head.
Elysia let out a light laugh and proposed an idea. 'Why not name it Vale?'
'Ha! That's over the top... Plus, it'd sow confusion whenever we mention it.' Cyper grumbled.
'Hold on... I've got an idea: let's call it Valor.' He continued.
'Valor?' Elysia echoed.
'Indeed... That's the name. A realm deserving of battle or the like.' Cyper replied.
'That works fine. Do we inform Lord Vale right away?' Elysia's tone stayed composed, though her gaze gleamed with resolve.
Liora assented.
'Stabilizing a pathway will demand time. Minimum five years, maybe more. But once achieved, Vale gains his entry point... I'm certain he'd welcome the news now to begin planning. Plenty requires setup. He needs ample time to prepare...
Cyper concurred.
'It presents an ideal chance for his followers too. The pathway we're forging bars Immortals from entering for the moment. Vale might think of dispatching his top pupils initially.'
'What?' Liora expressed surprise at the notion, yet upon reflection, it held solid logic.
Indeed, post-pathway construction, the priority would be establishing roots. Vale or fellow immortals couldn't simply step in, lest they disrupt the balance severely.
This explained why Liora scouted via her Temporal Body rather than her true form.
Foundation-building must commence modestly, making it an excellent role for his apprentices and learners.
In moments, the three clustered, staring through the delicate portal to Valor. After months, a spark of optimism ignited within them.

Without delay, they relayed the developments to Vale’s Avatar...
'Excellent job. Valor marks our forthcoming venture. Set up the arrays and secure the path. For the present, only my most trusted companions will learn of this... Thus, protect this secret fiercely. Eventually, we advance.'
The Time Manipulators inclined in respect, their objective at last yielding success.
Thus, deep within the Shadow Domain, the route to Valor took shape. Years of labor, myriad tweaks, and constant watchfulness lay ahead.
Nevertheless, the initial stride was taken...
Vale’s dream of broadening horizons had transformed from mere fancy to reality.
***
Three days passed, and Vale occupied a serene room inside the Shadow Castle...
His Avatar absorbed the updates from the three Time Manipulators.
Cyper, Liora, and Elysia had come back from their routine probes into the freshly unveiled realm, Valor.
Their temporal forms endured just half an hour each venture before the Will of the Realm bore down, endangering their ephemeral forms.
Certainly, extending beyond that courted total erasure.
Still, those thirty minutes sufficed with daily repetition. Over three days, they assembled bits of Valor Realm’s reality.
Cyper began the briefing.
'As we foresaw. The realm teems with fertility. Endless forests sprawl across miles, rivers carve through vales, and the earth overflows with nutrients. The mortals dwell in disjointed kingdoms, lacking a single unifying flag. Their arms are basic, forged from iron and steel, yet they've started forming militaries. They clash in conflicts among themselves, but none pose a risk to Immortal schemes. At minimum, no dangers surfaced in our scans.'
Liora smoothed her attire and confirmed. 'Magic persists, subtle yet detectable. It lacks structure for now. Mortals view it as folklore or blessings to select few. No schools exist, no structured groups. Certain lineages display heightened talent, but their mystical lore remains rudimentary overall.'
Elysia picked up the thread.
'The Will of the Realm hasn't turned aggressive toward us yet. It permits observation but pushes back when we overstay. It's potent enough to uphold its rules, without outright enmity. It appears to accept our watching, provided we avoid meddling. Hence, our temporal bodies hold for thirty minutes, nothing beyond.'
Vale attended closely and acknowledged...
'Remarkable effort. Humans... fragmented kingdoms... subtle magic. Free from Immortal influence. Exactly what we sought.'
Cyper affirmed. 'We verified temples too. Mortals revere gods, though none prove authentic. Their divinities are legends, their supplications go unheeded... though I could err. Further scrutiny may be needed. Presently, they crave strength, yet lack genuine guardians.'
Liora supplemented, 'We spotted resources as well. Valor boasts deposits of crystals and ores ripe for processing. Its woodlands are expansive, teeming with abundant creatures...
'Creatures?' Vale echoed.
Liora nodded. 'From ordinary beasts to enchanted ones, they thrive there.'
Elysia appended. 'Matching our earlier projection, at least five years to firm up a path. The Will would counter if we rush entry...
Vale’s Avatar felt pleased. 'Five years suits me fine. I hadn't anticipated results this quickly. You've surpassed what I anticipated.'
