Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy Chapter 1119 1119: Vale's Gifts

These Spirit Beasts were special, and Vale recalled the information he got from the merchant about the Spirit Beasts.

[ Frostborne Vulpestra

Grade: Lesser Immortal

Affinity: Ice and Spirit

Intelligence: High

Abilities:

Nullifies fire-type spells.

Emits soul-disrupting howls that disturb Divinity Flow.

Forms defensive crystal barriers. ]

The Vulpestra bowed its head slightly, acknowledging Vale before curling its tails around itself in a protective posture.

The second beast, on the other hand, was a panther-like creature. Its fur was black, and its eyes glowed faintly with violet energy. Unlike the Vulpestra, this one just glanced at Vale, and after confirming that there was no threat around, it just started walking around as if to inspect the room.

[ Nightreaver Shroudfang

Grade: Earth-Immortal

Affinity: Shadow

Intelligence: High

Abilities:

Phases through physical attacks.

Spreads fear in the target area.

Immune to holy or light-based attacks. ]

Vale studied them both with a faint smile.

"1,450 Divine Crystals well spent…" he murmured.

Just like that, the Vulpestra let out a soft, melodic howl that sent a chill through the chamber, while the Shroudfang silently circled the perimeter, phasing through a pillar before reappearing beside Vale.

He extended a hand, and both beasts responded… Thankfully, they were still bound to him and would follow his command.

In just a few moments, the two Spirit Beasts came to him… one with a nuzzle, while the other approached with a respectful nod.

'Hmm… They're cute… I hope they can grow up well in this tower… Should I assign a few caretakers for them?' Vale mused as he considered how he would take care of them…

He could already imagine their roles in future battles. The Vulpestra would be perfect for defensive support and battlefield control, while the Shroudfang could serve as a frontline disruptor or infiltration unit.

However, they were still too young.

Vale then checked the other items he had obtained from the merchant after purchasing these two…

[ Nurturing Formation Diagrams - Use these to establish a breeding ground in your land. ]

[ Taming Contract Runes - Optional, for those who prefer soul-binding contracts over loyalty training. ]

[ Supplemental Ration Packs - Three months' worth of condensed crystal meals calibrated for each species. ]

[ Obedience Bracers - For safe handling by subordinates until the beasts recognize your authority directly. ]

There were also two Bonding Scrolls…

[ Bonding Array Scrolls - Shadow-Type and Ice-Type variants, for deeper synchronization with your beasts. ]

However, he had already used them to form a deeper connection with Vulpie and Shroud.

In any case, since the two Spirit Beasts were intelligent, Vale just gave them instructions on how to live here…

Since he had a supply of food as well, there shouldn't be a problem.

Then, after confirming that they understood his instructions, Vale finally left the Immortal Tower.

Although there were still plenty of things he had to do in this Tower, Vale had noticed something in his inventory after checking his items related to the Spirit Beasts…

Apparently, his gifts to Constance, Lisa, and others were still with him. With that in consideration, he might as well visit them already.

'Constance should be in her tower… She must've recovered by now.' Vale mused as he used his Presence Shift to appear just outside Constance's Arcane Tower.

***

In the meantime, within the highest floor of her Arcane Tower, Constance stood before a mirror, adjusting the folds of her dress with a frown...

She still moved around elegantly, but her expression betrayed her mood.

"It's been days…" she muttered with irritation. "After dealing with the Chaos Immortals, he just disappears again? I know there's work to be done to stabilize the Domain, but he should've finished most of that by now. What's taking him so long?"

She turned slightly, inspecting her reflection from another angle, then sighed.

"He could at least send a message."

Just as she was about to summon another servant to check the outer wards, her Divine Sense flared.

Vale had arrived.

His presence was unique and something she would never mistake.

Without hesitation, Constance sent a few servants to greet him and confirm his purpose.

She didn't need to wait long. One of them returned moments later, bowing respectfully.

"Lady Constance, Lord Vale is here to see you."

Her frown vanished instantly, replaced by a subtle smile. She sent a telepathic message to the servant: Bring him to the highest floor. I'll be waiting.

Vale, this time, didn't use his Presence Shift spell... Instead, he walked through the tower's halls like any other guest, stepping onto the circular elevator platform that lifted him toward the top.

The platform was a creation of Rune and Spirit engineering. It moved silently and smoothly…

As it ascended, Vale glanced around, noting the subtle enchantments on the walls. It was actually refreshing the air and giving a nice scent as well.

It was so impressive…

Constance had always been meticulous with her space, and he couldn't help but appreciate these careful considerations.

When the platform reached the top, the doors slid open with a soft chime.

He stepped into her chamber after confirming that Constance was there…

"It's been a while…" Vale said as he saw Constance already waiting, seated near the window with a cup of tea in hand.

Her posture was graceful as always, but her eyes squinted the moment she saw him.

"You're late," she said, with a mock indignation. "I was starting to think you'd forgotten I existed."

Vale paused for a moment as he didn't expect such a reaction. Still, he felt amused. "I didn't forget. I just got buried under a mountain of work…"

Constance set her cup down and stood. "You could've sent a message… or anything."

"I wanted to come in person…" Vale replied.

She blinked, caught off guard for a moment, then quickly masked it with a scoff. "Hmph. You're lucky I'm in a forgiving mood."

Vale stepped closer, his gaze steady. "Right, I want to show you my Immortal Tower… However, it doesn't have anything to it. Perhaps you can help me design it or something?"

Constance frowned after hearing this. She wanted to say something but Vale raised his hand and spoke again.

"Wait… I brought gifts."

Constance tilted her head. "Gifts?"

He nodded. "From the Shadow Realm. I didn't forget your preferences."

Just like that, Vale showed the item he bought before…

They were the 1,000 sheets of Arcane Silk Paper, 500 bottles of Celestial Beast Blood Ink, 200 strands of Gold-Thread Divine Fiber, and the 100 blank Elemental Seal Stones.
