The squad narrowly escaped a swarm of scarlet insects and giant tentacles, seeking refuge in a cave. They discovered the bodies of Holy City Organization members, seemingly ambushed by the same monsters they fought. Despite the dangers and the possibility that the revered Sword Holder, Lin Xian, might be dead, KIKI refused to give up hope, firmly believing he was still alive and urging the squad to continue their search before the threat in the sky returned.

"Received!" Liszt and Song Wei both responded.

"No problem!" Alon, who had already bandaged his broken arm, stood up and patted his chest.

"Then we need to change our strategy next." Raymond immediately said, "Time is short, since we can’t do it quietly, then we’ll have to be quick. This time there’s no decoy, all we can do is pray we don’t encounter a Special Level Hunting Body."

"Luckily, the S-Class just now wasn’t marked." Song Wei nodded, "KIKI and I will search all the warships along the way, while you three provide cover, this will speed us up!"

"Alright!"

"Let’s do it."

Boom boom boom!

Scarlet like a frozen sea of blood hangs overhead, yellow sand is propelled into the air by telekinesis and explosions, then falls, mixed with thick dark red dust.

The entire Hakko South Shore looks like a boiling sand pot, with exploding fireballs rising one after another, accompanied by the rumbling roar of Gauss Sniper Rifles and the sharp screech of Pulse Weapons. Raymond, Liszt, and Alon form a triangular formation, continuously killing monsters emerging from the surrounding yellow sand.

Besides the Red Worm, there are bizarre creatures spewing shining threads, not relying on the Dark Mark but attracted by the sounds and blood mist aroma, continuously closing in. Without the large-scale Dark Energy Fluctuations previously created by the Holy City, the scale of the attack hasn’t expanded yet, but the squad is under increasing pressure with their firepower alone.

"Hurry hurry hurry!"

KIKI hovers at low altitude, purple hair wildly dancing in the scarlet storm, eyes flowing with starlit dark purple light. Telekinesis turns into an invisible giant hand, audaciously pulling another half-buried transport ship from the sand!

The twisted sound of metal is deafening, as a sand waterfall crashes down, revealing the rusted skeleton inside and scattered dessicated corpses.

Song Wei follows closely, Life Resonance waves like precise probes quickly scanning through smoke and debris, while her agile figure leaps and maneuvers between fallen decks and broken bulkheads; the Power Armor’s detectors are operating at full capacity, searching for targets together with KIKI.

"Nothing! Next ship!" Song Wei’s voice carries a hint of urgency in the communication channel.

"Three o’clock direction, Red Ghost, be careful!"

"Boss, not good, visibility is getting worse!" Liszt blasts apart a rapidly approaching bizarre spider with one shot, and the erupting blood mist makes the whole area even more scarlet.

Alon’s voice is cold: "Watch out for the Hunting Bodies, those things are the trickiest!"

"Seven o’clock direction! Flying Fish-Class wreck, depth fifteen meters!" Captain Raymond’s roar is drowned in a massive explosion, his fists collide, releasing a bright blue Magnetic Storm Shock wave that disintegrates three lunging sand creatures with metallic pincers into fragments and dark red liquid.

Behind him, Alon operates a Pulse Shotgun with a single arm, each booming shot sending approaching monsters flying, with sparking mechanical joints from the broken mechanical arm.

"The bugs are increasing! Captain, this isn’t right!" Liszt’s voice calls out from atop a twisted starship keel, where he’s stationed with the oversized sniper rifle. Each blue-white beam erupts precisely tears apart Red Worms or repels giant claws covered in dark red shell emerging from behind sand dunes, "Our movements are getting bigger!"

As if to prove his words, further away, scarlet blood mist churns violently like a living thing, emitting a tooth-aching "crackling" sound like countless bones rubbing against each other.

"What is that?"

KIKI lowers a piece of shipwreck, focusing on the distant blood mist, a twisted figure emerges from the swirling mist, looking human, looking like a zombie, but not entirely a zombie. The silhouette vaguely remains humanoid, but the limbs are stretched and twisted, joints bent backward, skin displaying a bizarre blend of dark red keratin and festering flesh, with heads either split into mouths full of sharp teeth or replaced by writhing scarlet tumors, chilling to the bone.

No screams, only a chilling wheeze like sandpaper on glass gathering in a tide, treading on yellow sand, ignoring terrain, coming faster than ordinary zombies, surrounding from all directions! It’s the Scarlet Mutant! A real corpse tide!

"Damn, Scarlet Uncanny Human!"

Raymond’s eyes are wide open, Magnetic Shock fully deployed, plowing a trench in the sand, as the squad of five instantly shrinks, forming a small circle back-to-back. KIKI descends from the air, Telekinesis Barrier forming a huge purple crystal dome shielding everyone, deflecting several lunging mutants and spraying acid.

"These uncanny humans might have all kinds of superpowers, we absolutely can’t take them lightly!"

As the words fall, a Scarlet Uncanny Human with strange wings on its back suddenly bursts from the ground, crashing into KIKI’s telekinesis barrier in a bizarre posture. KIKI frowns as the impact is accompanied by dark energy, with power akin to a cannonball, even raising a shock wave scattering a mass of yellow sand!

Without hesitation, KIKI clenches her fingers, directly crushing the Scarlet Uncanny Human, which explodes into a high-pressure energy body, chaotic dark energy and scarlet blood mist erupting furiously, comparable to a small aerial bomb!

Boom!

"Be careful, these uncanny humans are tough to handle, the more you kill the more they come, what they explode can even be devoured by each other, growing into bizarre forms, completely different from the uncanny humans we’ve encountered before!" In the dust, Raymond loudly yells to KIKI, "We can only retreat now; if we’re fully surrounded by them, the more you kill, the more that will come, and it will definitely attract Hunting Bodies!"
