The Sky Dome Train narrowly avoided a massive atmospheric mica obstruction by rerouting a disaster, but now faces an even greater threat. A colossal cyclonic storm zone, a terrifying apocalyptic superstorm, looms ahead. The train braces for impact, but discovers the storm harbors a swarm of winged demons, forcing the crew to prepare for battle.

"The sky is teeming with winged demons! There's an enormous number of them! We need to pick up the pace..." Monica's composed voice echoed through the comms, only to be swiftly overwhelmed by the terrifying roar of the churning waves.

Boom! Splash——!

A resounding detonation erupted from the lower decks! Ah Bai's voice, initially strained, then pierced through the din: "They've arrived! From underwater! A massive swarm, moving with incredible speed! There are far too many!" Before his words fully registered, his eyes blazed with high-intensity lasers, akin to two crimson blades, slicing fiercely into the dark, oil-like sea surface below! Wherever the beams passed, the water instantly vaporized into vast clouds of scorching steam. A dozen or so grotesque creatures, resembling spears with colossal fish eyes and wide, transparent wing membranes, were impaled and obliterated as they breached the water!

"Deploy the telekinesis field! Brace yourselves!!" KIKI's voice, cool and resolute, cut through the raging gale. She and Ryuji, their figures a blur at the edge of the ship's hull, extended their arms, their faces stark white, veins pulsing on their temples. Two invisible yet formidable psionic fields manifested, like an immense, ethereal net, confronting the shoal of flying fish erupting like high-pressure water jets! As the transparent fish slammed into the force fields, a dense symphony of muffled 'thump thump thump' sounds ensued. Their velocity drastically reduced, the hard bone-spears and membranous wings struck with significant impact ripples! The relentless collisions caused KIKI and Ryuji to frown involuntarily.

The number of attackers grew exponentially, emerging like precision projectiles launched from the seabed, beginning to pour out in a dense wave.

"Our signature is becoming more prominent. These are all aberrant organisms capable of high-speed pursuit. We must accelerate; a larger threat might be imminent," KIKI stated, maintaining control over the telekinetic field via the communication frequency.

"Sha Sha, increase speed, disregard distractions, break the sound barrier!" On the main bridge, Lin Xian made a swift and firm decision.

The storm was a treacherous expanse; even a minor miscalculation could precipitate an irreversible catastrophe. Yet, in these dire circumstances, there was no room for caution. The sooner they exited the storm's vortex, the further they would distance themselves from peril.

Sha Sha nodded, decisively engaging the control lever and adjusting the parameters. The Sky Dome Train surged forward once more in the air!

"Firepower saturation!!" Ning Jing's sharp command reverberated through the bridge's artillery channel!

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

The Triple Rail Shock Star Cannon unleashed thunderous roars, its heavy projectile rounds piercing the storm and the dense fish shoal with wave-shattering force, exploding into a bloody mist of foul, fleshy chunks! The searing plasma cannon, like incandescent spears of lava, strafed the winged demon horde rapidly closing in, each fiery blast incinerating a section of the demonic shadows! Dense plasma beams wove a deadly web, precisely targeting the piscine attackers slipping through the telekinetic field! An even more deafening, ear-splitting explosion erupted from the upper deck—the 1130 Close Defense Cannon system ramped up to its maximum firing rate! This all-encompassing metallic tempest shredded any living entity daring to approach the ship's hull, its shell casings raining down like a torrent into the surging sea below!

The world was reduced to a symphony of destruction: ordnance blazing across the sky, lasers intersecting, winged demons shrieking, flying fish launching their hardened spikes, the telekinetic barrier groaning and vibrating under immense pressure, and the gale howling like a wrathful deity! The Sky Dome Train had transformed into a blood-splattered, charging metal behemoth, its every weapon spewing fury, desperately clawing its way through the curtain of death descending from both sky and sea!

The communication channel fell silent at this juncture.

Each impact, each explosion sent violent tremors through the colossal vessel. The tormented groans of twisting metal mingled with the deafening din of battle, echoing like the final death throes of a predatory beast! Every soul aboard clenched their teeth, enduring the onslaught.

After an indeterminate period, as if plunging into an endless, dark abyss, the ferocious wind sounds gradually receded, replaced by the high-pitched friction of the shield. The sounds of bombardment dwindled, eventually fading into a few reluctant, muffled pops. The inky black wall of water churning outside the porthole slowly shifted to a murky, dark yellow, then gradually transitioned to a comforting, albeit still gray, faint leaden hue tinged with the dim light of dawn. The colossal cyclone, a wall of wind that had ground sky and earth into chaos, was now far behind the Sky Dome Train.

Within the vessel, the blare of the emergency alarm finally ceased. While the acrid scent of burnt components and the suffocating heat of ionized air still lingered, the oppressive, doomsday-like atmosphere had already begun to recede. The residual sizzling from overheated gun barrels and the sporadic 'zzzla' crackle of failing light bulbs were now the sole sounds breaking the sudden, profound silence.

Every individual remained in a state of heightened tension, much like someone who had just resurfaced after a desperate struggle deep beneath the waves, eagerly drawing in air that was no longer searing but still far from fresh.

"We've escaped the cyclone."

"We're still at the Secondary Level mark!"

"It's fine." Lin Xian removed his Power Armor Mask, his forehead slick with sweat. He directly instructed Viola, "Disperse and deploy the lures. Coordinate with tactical extermination as we move out of the Storm Zone. We shouldn't attract any major threats."

[Viola acknowledges, initiating 'fishing' plan.]

"Phew~"

Sha Sha let out a relieved breath, slumping back into her chair. She said with reluctance, "That was far too harrowing. I saw numerous monster silhouettes within the storm. Fortunately, we didn't make direct contact."

On the Sky Bridge, as the intense heat dissipated, Monica turned her head to gaze at the receding expanse of the dark sea. The sky at this moment was slowly clearing. Only the deep hum of the massive engine persisted, maintaining a stable cruise, akin to a heartbeat, pulsating strongly yet gently within the vast silence that followed the calamantine survival. The storm had finally been left in their wake.
