Lin Xian shook his head, his gaze fixed ahead on the emitting black 'Star Abyss.' He stated with a grave expression, "It’s not yet clear, but it appears the black gear Chen Yanshu left behind is proving to be quite a handful."

"Could this be the result of that Taboo Item?" Ning Jing couldn't help but interject after observing Lin Xian seize the black gear from Chen Yanshu.

"Now that’s a spectacular sight, looks like a massive tidal surge explosion!" Ryan detached himself from the group, surveying the unfolding scene. "Prepare for engagement!"

"Let's hold off on any rash actions for now."

Chen Sixuan spoke up, her eyes gleaming with an uncanny light that seemed to pierce the thick sea mist. "This tide is receding. All those Abnormal Bodies that were ejected have submerged. We haven't been marked. Let's observe for a moment longer."

Dawn was fast approaching, and the Infinity still hadn't secured a stable position. Engaging in combat at this juncture would be highly disadvantageous for them.

Driven by curiosity, Lin Xian cast a brief glance at Chen Sixuan before swiftly refocusing on the black Star Abyss. As predicted, the colossal black screen that had been dominating the sea mist began to contract, much like a deflating bubble. The ejected Abnormal Bodies, spewed out like a fountain, were also diminishing. Soon, the chaotic spectacle vanished back into the sea mist, leaving behind only the thunderous roar of the waves as the whirlpool dissipated.

"It's... gone?" Shu Qin exclaimed.

Qian Deli crossed his arms, his voice heavy with solemnity. "Appeared in a flash, disappeared just as quickly. What kind of peculiar celestial phenomenon is this?"

While the exact nature of the black gear remained somewhat elusive, his intuition had served him well — his countdown had, in some fashion, been intrinsically linked to this black gear, a perilous trap ingeniously set by Chen Yanshu.
