As the spotlight slices through the oppressive darkness, a hellish vista assaults everyone’s vision. Suddenly, the vehicle plunges into absolute nothingness. The ocean cliff face, as if rent by the axe of a Celestial God, plunges vertically into a bottomless abyss, exposing sedimentary rock layers that gleam bone-white in the beam.

The Infinity’s pressure hull groans under the strain. KIKI, observing the sonar system, notices countless red dots rapidly receding from the Infinity and breathes a sigh of relief, exclaiming,"Wow, it actually worked! Those monsters are all rushing towards the geothermal eruption!"
As the Infinity descends swiftly, the massive shockwave from the nuclear explosion continuously weakens, and the ocean floor near the cliff rises with a resounding crash.
"Lin Xian." Ding Junyi, having released her Silver Dragon Ten Thousand Mistakes, retracts her superpower. She turns to Lin Xian and remarks, "This time, the dimensional bubble effect seems better than before. The marking was erased smoothly."
"[Descent speed 12 meters per second, diving posture controllable.]" Viola’s synthesized voice responds.
Chen Sixuan’s face darkens. "Isn’t it too fast? This trench is so deep. Won’t we be pulled by the current and uncontrollably sink?"
"No." Lin Xian presses his earpiece. "Ryan, how are you guys doing?"
"Woohoo, everything’s proceeding smoothly! We’re right behind you!" From the abyss, the black nuclear submarine’s spotlight pierces the gloom as it follows closely, descending swiftly about 100 meters above the Infinity.
"Just a few more minutes until we reach that super whirlpool array. We must remain vigilant," Lin Xian states.
Beep beep.
Just as Lin Xian allows himself a moment of relief, the sonar detector suddenly flickers with a red light.
Everyone’s hearts seize, and they turn to look. The red light flashes once more before vanishing.
"What’s going on?"
"Based on the previous scan path, the sea monsters on the cliff had already moved away. No abnormal entities should be approaching this direction," KIKI reports.
"Could the scan have been wrong?"
"Viola?" Lin Xian prompts.
"[Approaching scan area. It could be the effects of the geo-nuclear eruption.]" Viola replies.
"Lin Xian!"
At this moment, a voice suddenly rings out in the earpiece.

"Monsters! Below us!!!"
For the first time, Lin Xian hears Shi Zhi’s voice laced with trembling fear.
As the echo fades in the earpiece, everyone in the cockpit glances out the porthole. The spotlight pierces the endless abyss, revealing only countless specks of dust floating in the black seawater.
Just then, the sonar detector sounds again.

A red light flickers.
KIKI looks over, his brow furrowed. "What’s happening? Still no discovery. Could it be another invisible entity?"
"No!"

In the murky depths of the ocean currents, mere fragments of shattered pressure-resistant train carriages and submarine compartments are all that's left. They drift downwards into the abyss, their internal circuits and lights blinking feebly a few times before vanishing completely into the impenetrable darkness. Not a single soul made it out alive.
