Ye Zhongming failed to break through the boundary of the oasis and joined Bai Feng at the Titan Secret Realm. This realm is filled with oversized flora and fauna, and conquering even a small portion has resulted in heavy casualties for Bai Feng's troops due to relentless native attacks. Despite the dangers, the realm is rich in resources, prompting Bai Feng to ask Ye Zhongming for assistance in clearing out stronger enemies to facilitate their expansion.

Ye Zhongming landed on the ground and surveyed his surroundings.

Because everything in the Titan Secret Realm was enormous, humans seemed tiny by comparison. This disparity in scale could easily create visual shock, leading to a psychological gap.

But Ye Zhongming had seen great spectacles before. He knew well that internal energy and physical size were not absolute.

Admittedly, larger lifeforms more easily accumulated energy and had advantages in strength and vitality. But this wasn't guaranteed—some smaller lifeforms could be just as powerful, and sometimes even more versatile.

After hearing Bai Feng's request, Ye Zhongming had gone out alone. He didn't touch the lifeforms currently attacking Cloud Peak's outpost—he could tell there were no top-tier beings among them. Xia Bai and the others who had come with him could handle it.

He left the outpost alone and began a clockwise reconnaissance, covering nearly a thousand kilometers in each direction.

Along the way, he encountered many fascinating lifeforms—strong and weak, of all shapes and sizes. It was quite an interesting experience, truly an eye-opener.

However, after scouting several areas, Ye Zhongming found traces of a gregarious, advanced intelligent lifeform in one location—signs indicated a large camp nearby.

A rough estimate put the camp's population at over one hundred thousand.

One hundred thousand massive beasts plus roughly the same number of mounts posed a major threat to Cloud Peak's newly established base. And the distance to the base was only a few hundred kilometers—about ten hours' travel at these lifeforms' speed.

Following these traces, Ye Zhongming soon found the natives' settlement—a town-like place with no walls, but with tall watchtowers spaced regularly around its perimeter.

Inside the town, several higher observation towers had figures moving about, keeping watch.

The buildings were mostly wooden, with few stone structures, neatly divided into four districts, each with rows of uniform buildings.

After a few glances, Ye Zhongming felt something odd. After thinking about it, he realized it didn't look like an ordinary settlement—it looked more like a military base.

A military base?

The Cloud Peak King narrowed his eyes. If that was the case, it meant some faction on this planet was not far from Cloud Peak's base, and they would come into conflict as soon as Cloud Peak made its first move.

This place had to be cleared!

Having made that decision, Ye Zhongming circled the base and found a well-maintained flat road leading into the distance. After observing for a while, he also spotted a supply convoy of over a hundred people arriving.

Clearly, this base wasn't independent—it was likely a branch or forward outpost of some larger faction.

Ye Zhongming didn't act immediately. He followed the road for a distance but found no other lifeforms before returning.

Then he landed directly in front of the camp and shattered the nearest watchtower with a single punch. As the massive structure fell, he kicked its debris into the camp, toppling another watchtower.

Since he was fighting, Ye Zhongming held nothing back, using his teleportation ability to intercept any lifeform he saw.

At times like this, strength decided everything—there was no room for fairness or justice.

The natives began to fight back, hurling massive axes or javelins, and nets with spiked ends, trying to stop the demon-like Ye Zhongming. At the same time, many warriors donned armor and charged at him, wanting to kill this man, but few could even get close—and those who did were mercilessly cut down.

These beastman-like lifeforms, usually at seven or eight-star level, were indeed somewhat stronger than Earth's current evolved on average. But before Ye Zhongming, they were nothing—even without using any abilities, no one could withstand a single punch from him.

After breaking in, Ye Zhongming began creating clones. Though weaker than his main body, under his precise control they could still easily overpower these beastmen, and the killing speed quickened.

A somber horn sounded. A full squadron of beastmen cavalry had formed up and charged at Ye Zhongming.

Their eyes were bloodshot, muscles bulging, their mounts and parasites roaring wildly, connected by faint red threads.

These five hundred cavalrymen charged with tremendous momentum. Seeing one of Ye Zhongming's shadow clones, they let out a unified roar and swung their weapons from over ten meters away.

Lightning-like arcs burst from each beastman's weapon, converging into bright spheres that struck the clone—which had just killed dozens of beastmen—and shattered it instantly.

Ye Zhongming, still fighting elsewhere, immediately noticed and glanced over in surprise.

Meanwhile, several other cavalry units of varying sizes—the smallest still several hundred strong—had formed up on other fronts, attacking from multiple directions.

Another thing: the beastmen showed no concern for their own dead. If any of their kin blocked the charge, they would simply spear them aside. The archers on the watchtowers also paid no heed to their allies, showering the area with arrows and hurling axes and javelins with reckless abandon, as long as they covered Ye Zhongming—as if they didn't care about their comrades' lives at all.

Ye Zhongming nimbly leaped from a watchtower and landed in the midst of a charging cavalry unit, driving his elbow into a beastman's head—caving it in. The rider fell from its mount, clearly not long for this world.

But the Cloud Peak King was shocked: that beastman had been around eight-star level. With the same force and same technique, he could have shattered its skull before. Now, he could only cave it in?

Though it was still fatal, the resilience of these two same-level lifeforms was clearly different.

Ye Zhongming didn't stop. He threw another punch at another beastman's waist. There was a crack—the beastman's spine broke, and it fell from its mount.

But again, earlier he could have snapped its body in two with one punch. Not this time.

He tried again—kicking a cavalryman's neck so hard it broke, though before he could have sent its head flying.

What was going on?

The Cloud Peak King was baffled. Then, noticing the changes between the various cavalry units and the other beastmen, a glimmer of understanding came to him.

Was this... a combination technique?
