Kunzuo very much wanted to swing his arm to block, but this usually easy movement, under the abnormal gravity and his physical injuries, went awry. His arm lifted but did not reach the right position, causing the tip of the earth-type long staff to strike his arm and then graze his forehead.

The special-form attack of Heavy Earth Judgment had ten times Ye Zhongming's strength behind it. To be effective, this strike carried tremendous power, even against a peak expert.

Originally, Kunzuo's protective gear had been damaged during his battle with Kirsailting, and what he was now wearing was a set of Red Condensation-grade equipment from his stockpile.

This strike not only shattered the armor on his arm but also left a gash on his forehead.

Kunzuo immediately let out a roar of fury.

The pain in his arm told him that the bone there was definitely broken.

In fact, this was already quite remarkable. With all his various skills and physical attributes combined, Ye Zhongming's strike now had attack power far exceeding that of an ordinary great expert, and what he encountered was a peak expert in possibly the worst condition of his life; hence such an effect.

Under normal circumstances, even if Kunzuo just stood there and let him strike, leaving a mark on his armor would have been impressive.

After roaring, Kunzuo's first thought was to counterattack. Unfortunately, his body was still under Ye Zhongming's gravity control, and this strike had kept him from regaining his balance. He could only flick his other hand, creating an energy bubble beneath Ye Zhongming's feet that lifted him up and then exploded, dealing damage to the Cloud Peak King.

Ye Zhongming was indeed blasted upward. Even a casual flick from a peak expert dealt him significant damage: his foot armor was shattered, his internal energy churned, blood flowed from his nose, and he was tossed into the air by the force.

But Ye Zhongming was not nervous. He swung his earth-type long staff again, delivering the third and final strike of Heavy Earth Judgment's special mode.

Kunzuo's intact hand had already touched the ground, and in the next moment he would stand up, after which he would eliminate this utterly detestable man.

When he saw Ye Zhongming still swinging his staff, Kunzuo, who was already beginning to steady himself, let out a mocking smile.

Because of the energy bubble's explosion, Ye Zhongming was now some distance from Kunzuo; too far for the elemental long staff to reach him.

But Kunzuo's smile had not fully bloomed before he sensed danger. Instinctively, he mustered what little energy remained in his body, forming a protective membrane close to his skin, while also raising his arm as best he could to block.

The others could see clearly that two elemental staff shadows appeared from diagonally behind Kunzuo on both sides, striking toward him. They emerged very suddenly and descended very quickly.

The two staff shadows seemed to have similar targets, but they were actually different: one aimed at Kunzuo's head, while the other targeted the arm that had just been injured.

Just as Kunzuo was about to regain control of his balance, the two staff phantoms struck the peak expert.

Again, had Kunzuo been in peak condition, these two strikes would have at most caused a slight tremor and minor damage to his armor.

But his condition was truly poor, and he had already been hit repeatedly. So when these two strikes landed, a peak expert was driven to his knees.

One strike hit his raised arm. This time, it was not just a broken bone; it resulted in an open wound, with the arm twisted out of shape.

The other strike landed squarely on Kunzuo's head, appearing so solid and producing such a loud sound that it set everyone's teeth on edge.

The energy membrane did provide some protection, absorbing most of the elemental staff's power, but the remaining force still struck the peak expert's head.

Even during his fight with Kirsailting, Kunzuo had never been this battered.

This strike split his scalp open, left his face covered in blood, left him dazed, with a ringing in his ears and his body swaying.

Onlookers watching the fight did not think, "Lord Kunzuo sure can take a beating," but rather, "My god, a peak expert has been beaten to this state."

So the entire scene fell into a kind of dead silence.

Some were terrified, but more were stunned.

Since when could someone not even a great expert beat up a peak expert?!

Some of those who had fought Ye Zhongming before shuddered with lingering fear.

He had not even used such powerful abilities against them!

They did not consider whether such abilities were suitable for group combat; they could only be horrified by the sheer power of his skills.

At some point, White Dragon Horse and Leilei Bird had flown nearby. The two great-expert-level creatures seized this opportunity and dove down, unleashing a flurry of "fists and kicks" on Kunzuo.

After a breathless rapid assault, the two beings immediately flew away.

This process was very brief, only three or four seconds, but their timing was excellent. They had barely flown off when two giant fist shadows appeared where they had just been—that was the peak expert's counterattack. Had they been hit, at least for today they would not have been flying anywhere.

Having recovered from his daze, Kunzuo let out a sudden roar, vanished from his spot, and reappeared beside Ye Zhongming, who had just stood up. His intact hand pierced through the Cloud Peak King's armor, plunged into his chest, and gripped the warm heart within!

Then, Kunzuo saw the strange expression on Ye Zhongming's face.
