Apocalypse Gachapon Chapter 2176: Inaccurate teleportation

The three tumbled out of the teleportation formation, all feeling very unwell.

That feeling of the body being torn apart during the teleportation process would not have been a big problem if they were in their prime, but with one unconscious and two injured, their injuries all worsened after the teleportation. Even the unconscious White Robe woke up.

The pain awakened him.

"Are you alright?"

Jie Su and Ye Zhongming helped White Robe up and asked.

Under the light, the three saw that the surroundings were all rough, gray-black rock. They were all somewhat surprised.

The joy was that, because they had light from the surrounding environment, they were even more certain that life had once lived here, or had been active here recently. Since that was the case, even if they were temporarily trapped, they could survive.

After all, if they did not demand quality, and other lives could live here, experts like them could also live here.

The worry was that the traces suggested the lives here were not from the cosmic races, but from other types of life. And this place was entirely natural caves, extending in all directions. For the moment, they did not know which way to go. Once they left this place, returning would not be easy.

"How many light balls do each of you have?" Ye Zhongming asked the other two.

"Two."

Once activated, a light ball could provide continuous illumination for dozens of hours. It was normal for each person to carry only one or two.

About half a minute later, a sound gradually came from afar, and even the ground shook twice. After a while, a life of unknown origin ran toward them, carrying a strong, bloody smell. Behind it followed more of another type of life. The two sides were in the midst of a chase, no, a hunt.

The leading life quickly passed through a cave in front of the three without stopping, and the pursuing pursuers followed closely.

The three listened. When the sound faded into the distance, White Robe opened his mouth to say something, but Jie Su pulled him back.

The three remained absolutely still, even stopping their breathing.

About ten seconds later, in the darkness, a head the size of a basin slowly extended from a side passage. Its eyes, perhaps due to staying in dark places, had already weakened, leaving only two white structures. But on this irregularly shaped head, there were fleshy holes filled with soft tentacles over ten centimeters long, presumably its hearing and olfactory sensing organs.

After this large head extended into the cave, followed by a long neck, it first sniffed to the left, then to the right, then kept swinging left and right, searching for something.

No one knew how long this creature's neck actually was. It had extended at least twenty meters into this passage without its body entering.

The head kept moving, stopping at the place where the three had sat healing earlier. The tentacles inside the fleshy holes frenziedly waved, even making sounds resembling suction, having discovered something, but uncertain.

The three did not move. They were somewhat fortunate that they had changed their clothes and could seal themselves to prevent any smell from escaping. As long as they did not move, this creature, which could only rely on smell and hearing, should not discover them.

Indeed, after searching the area for a while without finding anything, the neck gradually shortened, and the head slowly withdrew. Then, some pattering sounds were heard, gradually fading away.

They waited a full minute until the sound was no longer audible before the three began to breathe again.

"Let's go. We have been discovered."

Ye Zhongming suddenly said.
