The top-tier lifeforms of Cloud Peak have gathered to pressure Mei City. Xia Lei reveals she has hidden assets, including an artificially created top-tier lifeform, ready to defend the villa. As the battle escalates with the appearance of a new evil dragon, Xia Lei prepares Mo Ye to eliminate any potential traitors among their allies.

With a powerful exhale, Yangos unleashed a dragon's breath, but it missed its intended target, instead immolating a cluster of parasites below into ash.

Despite its seemingly frenzied state, Yangos was remarkably clear about its objectives.

The present Yangos, though still possessing a wily, wicked, and savage nature, had shed its former restlessness and absentmindedness.

In the past, its ultimate aspiration was to ascend to the ranks of a level nine lifeform, a pinnacle of existence. The 'why' behind this goal remained nebulous; perhaps it sought something profound, but more than that, it craved absolute, unbridled freedom.

However, those thoughts no longer occupied Yangos. It found contentment in its current circumstances.

Cloud Peak now boasted over ten top-tier lifeforms, none inferior to Yangos. The malevolent dragon reckoned its own strength placed it third, no, perhaps fourth among them—especially after witnessing Mo Ye's triumph over Wang Hanran, it conceded Mo Ye might possess a slight edge.

Nevertheless, it was an undeniable truth that should Yangos venture out alone, Cloud Peak wouldn't need to deploy formidable war teams for its pursuit; any pair of top-tier lifeforms could easily procure its magic crystal.

Thus, Yangos harbored a deep sense of gratitude, leading to a significant increase in its subservience compared to its past behavior. It committed to resolutely executing any tasks assigned by Xia Lei.

Beyond personal motivations, Liu Zhenghong had also, whether deliberately or by chance, impressed upon the evil dragon the future reality of Cloud Peak: an endless proliferation of top-tier lifeforms, where no single entity was irreplaceable. With advanced Beast Pool equipment and the capabilities of Lanyou, the future would see top-tier war beasts far outnumbering top-tier evolved individuals. Disobedience would inevitably lead to elimination, transforming such beings into 'meat pigs' destined to yield level nine magic crystals.

This prospect sent a shiver down Yangos's spine. It fully believed the Black-hearted Queen capable of such ruthless actions. The thought that a disobedient war beast might be ruthlessly slaughtered to satisfy a need for a level nine magic crystal, especially if a critical Cloud Peak figure like Xia Bai required one, was a chilling possibility.

Consequently, the evil dragon became remarkably compliant from that point forward, even curtailing its predatory excursions into the desolate wilderness to bully male beasts and assert dominance over females.

This current engagement, though Xia Lei hadn't set highly specific parameters for Yangos, was universally understood to center on the eradication of these parasites. The evil dragon kept this primary objective firmly etched in its mind, even amidst the heat of battle.

Yangos distinguished itself among Cloud Peak's top-tier lifeforms with its potent area-of-effect abilities. It felt a strong imperative to eliminate as many parasites as possible. Achieving this primary goal, while simultaneously engaging and holding its current adversary, would be considered surpassing all expectations.

Its opponent, a monstrous flying entity, possessed fewer specialized abilities but boasted a superior physique and incredible speed. Yangos's occasional dragon's breath attacks clearly incited its fury. Executing an exceptionally swift maneuver, the creature abruptly plunged towards Cloud Peak's vulnerable battle lines below.

This sudden action profoundly alarmed Yangos. Should this creature succeed in its assault, the dragon feared dire retribution from the Black-hearted Queen.

Abandoning all other concerns, the evil dragon swooped in close pursuit. Simultaneously, the scales covering its body began to glow a vibrant red, as if drawing breath in preparation to unleash a devastating ability.

However, the flying monster unexpectedly reversed its trajectory, leveraging its formidable speed to launch a direct assault upon the evil dragon. It attacked with savage intensity, employing its maw and talons indiscriminately.

Yangos had not anticipated such agile evasiveness nor the creature's cunning tactic. It was too late to evade and revert to their previous skirmishing strategy. The evil dragon now faced a critical choice: either abort the impending ability, conserving energy and minimizing collateral damage at the cost of enduring a personal backlash, or proceed with unleashing the ability, ensuring both combatants would suffer its full concussive force.

In that decisive moment, Yangos opted for the latter.

The evil dragon, too, possessed a formidable temper.

It understood the creature's defining characteristic was its physicality, yet it was a dragon! Was not a dragon's very essence defined by its formidable physique?

Therefore, the confrontation would determine whose physical form was inherently superior.

A colossal, incandescent meteorite materialized between Yangos and its assailant, hurtling towards them with explosive force.

An searing wave of agony compelled Yangos to arch its head back and roar, its draconic eyes darkening with incandescent rage.

"Turn around for your grandpa, let me see if you've got the guts! Otherwise, your grandpa's gonna rip you to shreds today!"

Observing its chest area blackened by searing flames, its dragon scales torn away, and crimson dragon blood continuously welling forth, the evil dragon's fury reached its zenith.

While its opponent was also wounded, it emitted no sound, simply flexing its wings and charging forward once more.

"Damn it, wasn't it nice to relax? How dare you put up a fight! Grandpa has a million brothers at Cloud Peak, we'll take turns *%……¥#."

The ensuing torrent of curses was largely indecipherable. The Cloud Peak warriors observing from the ground felt their own spirits purified, deeming themselves utterly innocent compared to the dragon's foul-mouthed tirade.Flames erupted from Yangos's claws, one of its most potent abilities. No longer harboring any fear of direct confrontation, it plunged into a ferocious battle with the parasitic flying creature. Both were apex lifeforms, celebrated for their incredibly resilient bodies. Their speed and strength were equally unmatched, leading to attacks so rapid they were utterly disorienting. A gruesome spectacle of blood and torn flesh rained down from above. It felt like an eternity since Yangos had engaged in such a desperate fight. In past encounters with other apex lifeforms at Cloud Peak, combatants exercised restraint. However, this was an unadulterated struggle for survival. This long-absent sensation of desperation, though unfamiliar, was undeniably exhilarating for Yangos. Seizing an opportune moment, it clamped its jaws onto the junction where the monster's wing met its body. Its claws tore relentlessly at the opponent's chest, shredding and searing large sections of skin with the flames now licking its claws. The monster's body convulsed twice in agony, yet it retaliated with equal ferocity, lowering its head to seize Yangos's nape. It shook and gnawed with all its might, its own claws raking across Yangos's form. The malevolent dragon had cast aside all else, its sole focus now fixed on destroying its adversary. The immense pressure from the opponent's bite strained its jaw, and the creature's formidable, sharp scales inflicted countless wounds within its mouth, yet it did not relent. Instead, a guttural growl escaped it, summoning a colossal dark cloud directly overhead. Initially a deep black, the cloud soon shifted to a menacing reddish hue, from which countless fireballs began to descend. What truly defined Yangos's prowess, however, was not merely its physical form; it was the potent abilities granted by its innate attributes that rendered it truly fearsome. Concurrently, its dragon tail thrashed wildly, appearing to be engulfed in flames, and extended slightly. Capitalizing on this opening, it coiled around the lower half of the opponent's body, completely nullifying its ability to maintain flight. The two titanic lifeforms plunged uncontrollably from the sky, impacting Mei City with tremendous force. The instant they struck the ground, Yangos unleashed the True Flame of the Red Dragon from its maw—its ultimate, intrinsic power. That searing energy, combined with the barrage of fireballs from above, engulfed both combatants in an immense inferno.
