Despite facing a superior opponent, Ye Zhongming accepted the challenge. He instructed his team to remove their gear, aiming to equalize the fight against the Su Clan's warriors. The simulated battle began, and the Su Clan charged, but Ye Zhongming's team executed a surprising formation, drawing the Su Clan in before revealing their own coordinated attack, which eliminated many of the Su Clan's frontline fighters.

Flashes of blades, incredibly swift, plunged directly into the Su Clan warriors as soon as they materialized. Caught off guard and unable to evade, they were compelled to employ various defensive measures.

Nevertheless, those positioned at the very forefront were simply too near, affording minimal time for reaction. The blade flashes struck their bodies, inflicting immediate harm.

Though this was a simulated battlefield, bodily impacts still carried the potential for pain. Beyond a certain threshold of damage, injuries would manifest, and in dire circumstances, even result in demise.

Upon sustaining injuries, the system would meticulously gauge the extent of bodily damage. Reaching a predetermined benchmark would lead to disqualification from the engagement. Plainly, according to the system's assessment, even if these earlier strikes were not fatal, they rendered the individuals combat-ineffective, leading to their direct removal from the simulated arena.

The remaining Su Clan combatants, some wounded and others having successfully parried, all halted their forward offensive due to these developments.

As they reassessed the opposing force, another wave of blade flashes became visible. This subsequent volley, however, comprised a smaller number.

Nonetheless, a more somber expression settled upon each of their faces, and preparations commenced for the activation of certain abilities.

The sheer force of the collisions sent ripples through the simulated battlefield, causing it to distort momentarily. The individuals at the front were instantly declared defeated; a few more behind them struggled briefly before being expelled from the combat zone.

Even with defensive measures in place, they found themselves unable to withstand the onslaught.

Two successive assaults left them in a state of profound astonishment.

They were all warriors possessing approximately twenty thousand Furelai. While unequipped, their inherent strength should have been formidable. Typically, the opponent's strikes should not have dispatched them so readily.

Yet, what was their prevailing sensation? It mirrored an encounter with adversaries of comparable might!

Could this be the efficacy of this peculiar formation?

"Disperse and assault!"

A directive was issued by one of the Su Clan warriors.

Had the intensity matched the initial attack, they could have managed with sufficient preparation, as it would not have surpassed their capabilities.

However, the second wave, despite featuring fewer blade flashes, carried significantly greater power, presenting a substantial peril to them.

Onlookers observed with clarity: the Star-Eye Clan's second assault mirrored the first. The crucial distinction was that those who received assisting blade lights did not emit them, as had occurred previously, but instead channeled them to over a dozen other individuals, thereby initiating the secondary volley of blade flashes.

"Overlap?" Yaohan Su mused aloud. This particular technique held analogous applications within Su Clan formations, though it was typically reserved for grander arrangements. This formation, bearing a resemblance yet feeling unfamiliar, possessed such exceptional capabilities?

The Su Clan warriors' strategic repositioning proved effective. Observing this, the attacking contingent withdrew once more, though inevitably, several were overcome in the process. Individual prowess, in essence, resulted in immediate incapacitation.

Yet, the sacrifice of their comrades afforded the remaining seventy-plus individuals an opening to counter. This time, they enacted a triple overlap.

Only five blade flashes were unleashed, but each was extraordinarily potent, directly cleaving through the vanguard of the Su Clan's formation. At minimum, ten combatants were instantaneously 'slain'. Following their removal from the battlefield, they all expectorated blood, collapsing to the ground in a seated posture, their outer garments rapidly becoming saturated with crimson, as no protective gear had been worn.

At this juncture, the high-ranking members of the Su Clan could no longer remain impassive.

Three consecutive onslaughts had decimated half of the remaining fifty, leaving just over twenty. And the opposing side? They still numbered seventy. If mere handfuls more such assaults occurred, would they not face utter defeat?!

They genuinely struggled to comprehend how this contingent of low-ranking warriors, averaging a mere six thousand Furelai, could unleash such devastating combat power.

The Su Clan warriors' eyes were likewise flushed with intensity. Their Furelai advantage was overwhelmingly superior. To falter now would undoubtedly leave an indelible stain upon their entire lives.

They persisted with the previously employed dispersed attack strategy. This time, their formation widened even further, each warrior nearly isolated, with no allies in close proximity. The group of over twenty appeared poised to encircle the seventy opponents.

This timely adaptation brought a measure of relief to Kelan Su's faction. If they could maintain this formation, even with a few more devastating assaults from the Star-Eye Clan, at best, they might eliminate half their number. The remaining dozen or so Su Clan warriors would suffice to annihilate the enemy.

The conflict seemed to unfold in accordance with everyone's expectations. The Star-Eye Clan initiated another triple-overlap attack, neutralizing an additional five Su Clan members who could not withstand its force. However, the other Su Clan warriors swiftly closed in, swiftly dispatching over a dozen Star-Eye Clan combatants in retaliation.

"Withdraw!"

Shi Yong issued the directive. The combat unit immediately converged towards him, transitioning from a defensive posture to an offensive one.

Given that the previous onslaughts had been frontal assaults, the strike team successfully retreated to its original vantage point.

Close behind them, the Su Clan combatants clung to them persistently. Within this short engagement, approximately ten more members of the strike team were lost.

The situation appeared to have reached a temporary equilibrium once more.

Jie Su had been observing with considerable apprehension. At this juncture, he turned to Ye Zhongming by his side and inquired softly, "Are there any other methods available?"

Ye Zhongming offered a gentle smile. "Just observe."

Having regained their initial positions, the strike team's numbers had dwindled to just over forty individuals. Nevertheless, a sense of panic had not yet set in; they re-established their previous formation. However, with diminished numbers, the arrangement inherently appeared sparse. This positioning inherently made them more susceptible to individual elimination.

The pursuing Su Clan warriors were unwilling to forfeit such an advantageous scenario; they 'eliminated' a few more, consequently reducing the strike team's strength to below forty.

Leveraging this opportune moment, the strike team members once again employed their signature maneuver—this time, a remarkable quadruple layering!

Only Shi Yong and Ou Chong unleashed the wave of blade light.

Possibly due to the amplified layering, these twin beams of light were of extraordinary magnitude and possessed exceptional sharpness. Upon their manifestation, they swept through the surrounding area with a thunderous roar, one proceeding to the left, the other to the right.

Any Su Clan warriors obstructing their path were 'vanquished' and removed from the simulated combat arena. The repercussions of their expulsion were more severe than in previous instances. Had it not been for their inherent formidable capabilities, outright casualties might have transpired.

Accompanying the twin streaks of blade light was an intense close-quarters engagement. The Su Clan warriors and the Star-Eye Clan assault unit seemed acutely aware that the outcome of the conflict hinged upon this critical moment.

By the time the blade lights dissipated, the Su Clan contingent was reduced to a mere four individuals, while the Star-Eye Clan strike force had ten survivors remaining.

The intensity of the engagement had surpassed all prior expectations. Though the confronting forces were not vast in number, and the ebb and flow of combat could not be characterized as particularly savage or ferociously paced, it nonetheless conveyed a profound sense of impact.

"Let's see what else you've got!"

The remaining four Su Clan warriors fixed their gaze upon the assault team members, their expressions alight with a wild fervor. They perceived that their adversaries were significantly depleted from the repeated exertion of this potent tactic, their current condition being exceedingly weak. The ten individuals were likely incapable of further combat, and certainly unable to execute the overlapping strike again.

Concurrently, they observed crimson stains seeping through the combatants' attire. It was evident that such formidable attacks were not without a considerable toll on their bodies.

Shi Yong and Ou Chong, serving as the final components in the sequential overlapping strikes, bore the brunt of the exertion. Crimson fluid dripped unceasingly from the corners of their mouths, marking the ground below.

Despite their battered appearance, they offered defiant smiles to their opponents. Their outward frailty belied the unyielding fire burning within their eyes.
